I want to reiterate this was the best mortgage loan process we have ever been a part of. Highly recommend Agave Home Loans.

ZERO STARS IS MORE ACCURATE I am writing this to warn…read moreothers about the incredibly poor experience I had with Agave Mortgage Brokers. Their performance throughout the entire process was utterly pathetic. They seemingly cannot read basic financial documents--specifically Shareworks statements. They saw and requested the exact same documents on over 10 separate occasions. Then, finally, on the 11th time, they actually decided to look at them and ask questions about the accounts and statements. This absolute incompetence caused a massive, last-minute pivot and wasted 2 entire months of my time just to get to that point. Combined with horrible communication along the way, it was an incredibly stressful and unprofessional experience. Save yourself the headache and take your business to a broker that actually values your time, communicates transparently, and knows how to review basic paperwork. Avoid them at all costs.

I was a…read morefirst time buyer and they really held my hand and walked me through the entire process patiently. My 30 day close went off without a hitch. They approved me for $70,000 more than I had previously been approved for by a different company just a week prior with less of a payment! I was previously told my mortgage would be $1800/month for a $215k home and I'd have to put $10k down. The home we bought with guild was $260k at $1500/mo AND we only put down $1600! I would HIGHLY recommend guild Mortgage. Don't get stuck in a high interest loan because of programs like "home in 5".... they have their own program that will save you so much money for down payment and won't effect your interest rate. Stop throwing your money away on rent and buy a house! So glad I did!

Been with Desert Financial in some kind of way for over 18 years, I will never bank with big banks like Chase, BofA,etc . Where they charge ridiculous fees just to have an account. Desert Financial will reimburse any ATM fees when needed to withdraw cash from credit unions ATMs at the start of new billing cycle. A branch rep told that every February they give every account a "thank you" credit, I think based on how often you used your account or average balance, not sure just remember back in February I got around $20 credit. I recommend this Bank, Charles Schwab or USSA, if you are qualified family member. And little special touch they have big variety of card designs... ASU, Cardinals and desert pictures. Not all banks have that many.
