Food: Tasty and filling (I had the vegetarian mix and I struggled to finish it!).
Service: You know what - calling it "service" is reductive, it really feels like you're at somebody's home. I had a lively pleasant conversation with the woman who cooked and who then came back to sit at one of the tables (it was a slow night, I guess). She's a warm and loving person (and a great mother, from what I could see in the way she was interacting with her kids!), I was glad to spent the evening chatting with her. So, yeah, come here and forget that you're a "customer" and you have a right to be "served" - just treat it as an immersion into a new community, a new culture (they even had EBC, an Ethiopian TV channel, on for the whole evening), and a chance for some genuine human relationship-building... you won't leave disappointed (and you'll also leave with a full belly and plenty of cash left in your wallet). read more
