I arrived and sat myself down as nobody acknowledged me. The venue was not full.
I then went up to the counter and got myself a menu as once again, I was not acknowledged.
After 5 mins or so, someone eventually came over. I ordered an earl grey tea.
She came over 5mins or so later and went straight to the table next to me as she thought they ordered a tea. She then turned around to me and asked if I ordered tea. She put it down then I asked her about the pear crumble. She cut me off and said they didn't have that. I was about to ask her for something else but she started to walk off! I said "err.." then she laughed and came back over to me. I ordered a tiramisu as I felt if I did not order soon, I would be ignored again.
All of the cakes are in the counter hence I did not understand why it took them so long to bring over my cake. I waited another 10mins or so and tried to get their attention but once again, I was ignored. Hence I got up and walked to the counter as I believed that I would get what I ordered quicker. Whilst I was waiting, the waitress that took my order came over and asked for the tiramisu that I had ordered. The lady playing up the cakes looked at me and asked if I wanted to eat in or takeaway. I said I was waiting for my order. The other waitress said the cake she requested was for me. She took it to the table for me. I then sat down and ate it. It wasn't how I expected but it was quite nice.
Due to the service I received. There is no way I'd go back unless I wanted to serve myself.
Funnily enough, whilst I am writing this. The gentleman that was sat beside me just got up and left after trying to get the staffs attention for a while. Guess he had enough too. Lol... read more
