I recently visited Genesis Harmony OBGYN for a well woman exam. The nurse practitioner I saw was kind, professional, and made me feel comfortable during the appointment, which I really appreciated. However, my experience at checkout was unfortunately very disappointing. When I went to leave, the back window was closed and I wasn't sure where I needed to go next. I politely asked for directions, and the staff members sitting at the desks near the checkout area were visibly irritated. One staff member raised her voice at me, and another responded in a rude and dismissive tone, telling me matter-of-factly that I needed to go to the front. I followed their instructions and went to the front desk, but the interaction left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. No patient should be spoken to that way, especially in a healthcare setting. While I had a positive experience with the provider, the front/back office interaction significantly impacted my overall impression of the visit. I hope the clinic can improve communication and customer service at the front desk so patients feel respected from start to finish. read more

Extremely disappointed with how my request for urgent evaluation and medical care was treated. Sent a message on my portal (it was Friday afternoon when I started to notice severe symptoms, I tried calling and when no one in triage picked up at 1:30pm, I figured I was better off sending an email through the portal, which is sometimes the quickest way to communicate with your provider) I received this message 3 days later (which was understandable), however I was horrified. Literally describing a possible tumor in my lady area, struggling to walk. They let me know I have a $35 outstanding balance preventing me from receiving the medical care I need. First of all, I'm happy to pay it. I would actually love to pay it IN PERSON at the appointment. Second of all - no mention of my extreme issue? No phone call back? No, hey we will book the appointment but please go ahead and pay in the meantime? Completely dismissed. In fact, they closed the conversation so I couldn't even reply. The lack of compassion and understanding that paying a $35 balance (that I didn't know I had) was maybe not the priority in this moment? I'm honestly just shocked. Will NEVER be returning. Shame on Lino Quijada for thinking that message was acceptable. If you want to be protected when you experience an urgent medical event involving your most vulnerable body part, you should take your business elsewhere incase you maybe have an outstanding balance of $35 that prevents you from being treated like a human that needs help. read more

Dr. Melissa Bradley is the best! She is very professional and makes my yearly check ups easy to come to. I used to dread going to yearly women well checks but I'm happy with this office! The office is very easy to find. You can walk up the stairs or take the elevator! Lots of spaced out seating due to Covid. Everyone is wearing masks. They have water available in the lobby and TVs! read more

I have been seeing Dr. Bradley for three years. If you are not having a baby, I would not bother going to this clinic. I have had multiple callbacks on mammograms. this year I had a breast biopsy done and asked for further investigation because I was considered high risk. I was also advised by my internal medicine doctor to seek further investigation. Dr. Bradley would not allow further investigation and since she was the ordering doctor, it made it really difficult to proceed. I will now be referred to a breast doctor to get an MRI. Its a money machine. This is one of the most unhelpful clinics I have come across in Tucson. read more

The reason why I give this place a 2 is because of the wait time. (I didn't get to see a dr.) It was my first office visit my appointment was at 1:15. The waiting room had several people in it but by 1:30 most had been called. About 10 minutes later people started coming in and the waiting room was filling up, and the new people were being called before I was. So at 1:48 I walked up to the front desk and asked how much longer. The young man at the desk went back to check, came back and told me the dr. Had 3 rooms and they're all filled and, I am next in line. It should be 20 minutes or I could reschedule. I just had him cancel it and I left. Don't they realize that we have jobs, and our time is important too?? If we did a no show, or didn't cancel in time we would get charged $50 in some cases. I won't be going back there because I can't afford to take a day off work just to wait half of it in a drs office. Scheduling and the drs. need to do better by the people they serve. read more

I used to love Dr. Decker when he was at his old practice. Once he moved here the quality of care has become non-existent. You can not get anyone on the phone the only option is the portal and good luck getting a response most times. Every time I come in for an appointment he acts like it his first time meeting me and I have to repeat myself about details that should be in my chart. I have felt the last few times I have gone in my problems and pain have been brushed off and ignored. I found a new doctor who has been wonderful and actually helped diagnosed some very real problems that were ignored by this doctor. If you want a doctor who will remember you and care about your well being you will not find it with this practice. The want your money and to book as many patients in a day as possible making the appointments rushed and unhelpful. read more

Dr. Bradley was very informative and pleasant to talk to. I felt very comfortable getting my birth control after hearing all my options and the procedure went quickly. The rest of the staff were friendly as well. read more

Everything about my appointment was transactional and upsetting. I totally understand serving a lot of people and needing to be efficient with time, but it was like going through a drive through at rush hour. Everyone was in a giant hurry and didn't explain next steps of the appointment. Dr. Sen had poor bedside manner. I felt like she barked at me the whole time and lacked any opportunity for me to speak or problem solve even though we were discussing something that is difficult and challenging to discuss. My exam was a total joke. I was rushed and felt disgusted afterward because of how I was treated. Do not recommend at all. Don't go there. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Kliner since this past June when I found out I was pregnant. I cannot put into words how wonderful of an OB GYN she is. I have never had a medical provider be more supportive, attentive, and actually listen to and address ALL of my concerns without once making me feel like I was being crazy (even when I know I was). I would absolutely consider having another child if it means I get to continue to treat with Dr. Kliner. In addition to all of this, the longest I had ever had to wait for her past my scheduled appointment time was 20 minutes and that was only due to her being at a delivery. Any other time we are seen within 5 minutes of arrival. The medical assistants and reception staff are all incredibly friendly and make you feel extremely welcome. I cannot recommend this office enough! read more

Dr sen is great, she's really nice and is really good about letting me know what to expect every step of the way. she is also great about respecting my wants and listening to me. only downside is that she is frequently late. i imagine this is likely due to it being a small practice and things coming up at the hospital. overall a very positive experience. read more

I have been a patient here for a few years and the consistent thing is the wait times. I often have to take 2 1/2 hours from work for a 30 min appointment. Today I'm here with my sister and they have, as always, double booked the same Dr at the same time. Clear double standard since the office can cancel your appointment for you running a few minutes late while they run on average an hr late. Other than that Dr Bradley is amazing, wouldn't suggest the nurse practitioner since Lori is no longer here. (Bradley is thr only reason I stay) Always check your bills and stay on them for refills. read more

I am a former patient of Dr. Sherman. I was concerned about tracking Lori Mulick, my nurse practitioner who I have seen my whole adult life. The Harmony office said they do not know where she had gone. So, in order to be of service, I am posting it here. Lori Mulick is at: Copperstate OBGYN 5550 E Hampton St, Tucson, AZ 85712 Phone:(520) 721-8605 It is on Craycroft, South of Grant on the right side of the street on a small street called Hampton. read more

Places like this are why people hate doctors. The girl that brought me back had no personality and was just a "do this, stand here" kind of (nurse? tech? No idea, never even said her name). And then just blank stares when she didn't understand my answers to her questions. Dr. Bradley was friendly, explanatory, professional. She ordered bloodwork and I had to wait almost an hour for them to call me back despite their only being 3 other women in the waiting room. They called the next week with bloodwork results but insisted I come in to receive them. Despite having signed a form giving permission to leave test results and other sensitive information on voicemail or sent by text/email, they refused to give the results and said I had to come in to see the Dr. Took two hours off work, was 10min late but still waited another 30min despite being THE ONLY ONE in the waiting room, all for the Dr. to tell me everything looked fine! I asked why they insisted I come in and the Dr. just said it was her preference in case I have questions. My only question is how it's ethical to then demand a copay for an appointment I neither requested nor wanted?? These types of scams are the reason people hate doctors and one reason insurance premiums are so ridiculous; because doctors demand pointless appointments just for the sake of charging you! read more

Dr. Bradley was great but the billing is outrageous. Did lots of unnecessary testing racking up a huge bill. Made payments on it explained my situation to the billing department and a week later they sent it to collections. Sorry but with this lovely pandemic going on you would think they would be understanding. They are all about that money and if you can't keep up they drop you as a patient. read more

I recently heard that Dr. Mercado is very professional and very good doctor, and Yes! That's right, She is. I was very excited for her to see me, because I speak Spanish. any way, when the day arrived I came to my appointment for anual check that it was supposed to be at 10 and the assistant pass me at this time, she took my information and everything was good, then she passed me to the room and I change my clothes, and I waited 15, 30, 45, 50 minutes for the doctor, and I was answering if the doctor was in her way or what? and they just were answering "yes, she is coming" I was so disappointed, and when she arrived to my room was very nice and respectful but just saw me for 5 minutes and was done. Oh but they charge me very well ($100) just for nothing. I think that if the person who makes the appointment in an specific hour is because the doctor is supposed to be available to attend, I would have been told by phone that the doctor would arrive at 11 and I would not have been waiting so long. Whatever after the appointment, the lady who charges the medical studios, she took almost 1 hour to finish my papers cause she didn't understand something in her computer, really? That's like a joke. I recommend you to go somewhere else cause that's no worth it, because that is not fair and it is a lack of respect. read more

Due to reviews, I was nervous to go for my annual; however, they took my insurance and they couldn't be worse than TMC. I left feeling validated and with dignity still intact. Doctor listened and was gentle. I left confident of returning. read more

My GYN doctor wrote me an order for an annual mamo. After my annual mammogram I had to go back for an ultrasound and then a biopsy for possible breast cancer. I was told this office would call me with the biopsy results. During this entire process no one from Harmony ever called me. Several days after the biopsy I called the office and asked if my results were in and what to expect. A bothered nurse told me that my results were not in and that someone would call me. To date no one has called me from Harmony. In the meanwhile I got the results elsewhere. Can you imagine how it feels to know that you might have cancer and your provider could care less? I am looking for a new GYN office. Any recommendations? read more

Made an appointment and had to wait over an hour to be seen. Seems disorganized and over crowded. Do not come here if you value your time and can't sit around waiting well after an appointment time. read more

Dr. Mercado is fabulous! I'm so glad I found her. She is attentive, and she always listens to what you have to say. She starts off each appointment with a "Hello love!" And a hug. She makes you feel comfortable and she is really gentle. My baby and I couldn't be in better hands! Her nurse is also as sweet as can be, and is very efficient. The front desk staff can be a little overwhelmed at times and sometimes lacks cheer but for the most part they are great! I recommend Dr. Mercado to anyone that is looking for a quality OBGYN. read more

i asked for my medical records over a week ago and i still haven't heard anything. every time i call i get an automated voice. also they never take me seriously when i know something is wrong. hopefully soon i can go to a new office read more

The Medical Assistant that brought me back was rude, asked me to turn on the scale to get my own weight. I am a medical Assistant myself and we never have patient do that. She even asked my last LMP which I gave and she continues to ask are you sure?? And are you sure you're pregnant, while I was already 8 weeks! I had an ultra sound the same day that was around the corner they to didn't allow my mother in law to come in only two people which I thought was ridiculous that they couldn't allow just one more Adult. I switched the next day to Banner OB far better experience and to top it off this office has yet to send my records which I requested via fax 3 times and talked to someone over the phone and it's been 2 weeks. I do not recommend this place whats so ever! read more

Dr. Mercado is probably the best doctor I have ever had. Moving here from Texas I am so glad we found her, especially since I had an awful experience with my OB in Texas. Dr. Mercado is so attentive and patient with any questions or concerns you may have and has definitely made my first pregnancy more enjoyable. She always has a positive attitude and greets you with a hug every time. Not to mention the medical staff there as well as at St. Joseph's where I delivered is beyond amazing. I highly recommend this business and Dr. Mercado to anyone who is expecting a little one. read more

Dr. Mercado is hands down one of the best doctors I've had. I had my baby almost 2 years ago with her. I moved from Tucson and now that I'm trying to find a new doctor I didn't realize how lucky I had it! I was young and did not know what to expect and she made me feel comfortable along the entire way. I also had appointments at both offices because I worked closed to the one on the south side, that office isn't as nice but the staff there was great!! My office visits always did have some sort of wait but once she got to the room she was quick and efficient. And there were times where she would still make my appt or pop in after delivering a baby 30 min ago! (Her delivery rate is unreal!) I do remember the east side office not being my favorite with the office staff but that was 2 years ago.. and she is so worth it which is why I'm giving 5 stars! read more

The waiting room was empty when I arrived for my appointment. I still waited 1/2 hour past appointment time. The girl that takes you back is lacking in people skills. I sat in the hallway forever while she typed on a computer. When I got to the room I waited at least 40 min to see the doctor. The visit was so brief that I never was able to get my questions asked! It felt like speed gynecology! On the way out the door the doctor calls out over her shoulder, Hopefully it's nothing! And walks out the door. Who does that? I had labs done over a week ago & have heard nothing. I had an ultrasound that showed an abnormality and the doctor at the ultrasound place had to come talk to me. She said my dr should be calling to discuss the results. Have heard nothing from my dr. I'm getting a new one. What a joke! read more

Dr. Mercado ran tests on me without my knowledge or consent. I feel absolutely violated by her patient care. She is also completely ignorant of the APP and WHO recommendations when it comes to breastfeeding. She told me my 7 month old was on solids, so she was just "nursing for comfort." I had not told her the status of my 7 month old with solids, and it is recommended to nurse to 2 YEARS or longer, so long as it is mutually desired. And to top it off, I had to PAY her to make me feel Violated! I would never recommend her to anyone. read more

When I called to make an appointment I was told that they thought I needed an authorization from my insurance before I could be seen hut they would look into it and call me back. The appointment day came and I showed up they said they couldn't do anything about my birth control yet still need authorization but they would take care of it. Scheduled me for another appointment and said they'd calm if anything changed. The day comes and they say I never actually needed an authorization after all and they can remove the birth control for me. I end up arriving early as requested and still sitting in the waiting room an hour after my appointment time while 10 other women walked in and we're called back before me one of whom I overheard did not even have an appointment. Then I am told I need to provide a urine sample after I already went to the restroom after sitting there for so long. Then I was told they couldn't do anything for me until I was able to provide a sample and offered me warm tap water to help. read more

I saw Dr. Bradley for a routine well woman exam last August, and while she was short and impersonal in her visit with me, this 1 star review is dedicated to the administrative staff who took 9 months to resolve their billing mistake. While I won't go into the dirty details, a test I asked for and received during my visit is covered as preventive without patient cost sharing by the Affordable Care Act. However, Dr. Bradley's office coded a portion of it as investigative. I literally spoke to someone/left a message with someone at Harmony once a week for about 9 months trying to resolve this. Simple fix, you'd think. Both the lab and the insurance agency said they just needed to change the code, but the administrative staff at Harmony had "never done this before" and "don't know how to change a lab code." It took filing a complaint with the BBB (never answered by Harmony) and getting the main office administrative higher-ups involved to finally get a reimbursement of the lab bill I paid. They did this instead of just correcting the code, which would have had the insurance pay it. I am still completely astounded at how long this took and how much effort I had to put in to get this resolved. While everyone I spoke to was kind, they obviously had no concern for getting this issue resolved in a timely manner. In conclusion, make sure you know your rights under the Affordable Care Act. Review your bills and if something seems off, it may be a mistake. The Affordable Care Act guarantees that you can receive many preventive services without having to pay for them yourself. Don't let a doctor's office tell you they don't know how to fix their mistakes! Be persistent! Also, I'll never be a patient at any Genesis OBGYN office ever again, and neither should you. read more

This place is horrible. Dr. Funckes' compassion, bedside manner, & professionalism was a joke. No matter what time of day I was there for my appt I'd always have to plan on waiting at least 2 hrs or more. When finally seen, appts were always rushed & done in less than 5 minutes. Or I'd arrive to an appt & I'd get "I dunno why they scheduled you for that, she's at a meeting, you're not scheduled" etc etc. I arrived to an appt one day & the desk girl said "I think she's heading out for the day, has a meeting I guess, there she is leaving now" & lo & behold,  Dr's sneaking out a back door behind my back & takes off... She actually "forgot" me twice, I sat in the exam room for over an hour, the nurse freaked & told her, she came in & simply said she "forgot" she had a patient! 2nd time I was waiting for over 2 hours in an exam room (not including waiting room time) kept being told by the nurse she'd be right in, come to find out she AGAIN "forgot" she had a patient! She stood in the doorway, door open, not looking up from the laptop, Asked if I had any questions, I said I did, cut me off asked if meds were the same, I said yes, she said "ok see you in 2 weeks" & left! Is she going to "forget" to reliever babies too? Every appt. is rushed, seriously less than 5 min, she'd never look up from the laptop, practically be out the door while you're still talking, & if there were any questions/concerns it'd be shrugged off with a "yeah yeah that" response, I got no info on anything (honestly had no idea until my new Dr's ultrasound at 28 wks that I was having a healthy baby) I have anxiety/depression & tried to tell her my concern one appt about being depressed & having 3 panic attacks a week prior to an appt, she cut me off, told me to deal with it, get over it & I'll manage. You cannot simply tell a person with depression/anxiety to "get over it" I'm not suicidal but suppose I was? She just acted like it was no big deal. I was having trouble with my sciatic nerve & had questions about it, she could've cared less, gave me the "uh huh that's being pregnant" mumble... what's pathetic was the same day I went to an appt with my mom & HER oncologist gave me more advice & stretches than my own! I was finally able to leave there at 25 wks pg. Found an amazing new Dr/midwife team who have compassion, answers questions, makes time for you & all of your concerns! It's nice to have a Dr get excited right along with you over your baby & not treat you & other women like a revolving door of pregnant ladies with a get em' in get em' out attitude.   My main problem now is the Harmony office are being spiteful, petty, jerks & are not wanting to send my records to my new Dr! I went to Harmony did the release paper work a week before my new Dr appt (I was 24 wks then) the desk staff was friendly to me until the girl took the paper, I was asked in a snitty tone "oh, you want it sent THERE?" I said yes, I got a sigh, & a rude "it'll be sent" reply, as I was leaving I could hear her & another girl whispering. I've even filled out additional forms at every new Dr's visit because Harmony will not send them. Now I am currently 33wks pg & they STILL refuse to send my records to my new Dr!!! Apparently this is common with Harmony & I'm not the only one who is having trouble getting their records sent to this particular Dr's office, not because Harmony is busy, it is because they've lost MANY patients to my new Dr. & they don't like it & drag their feet or just refuse... I pray no woman is having a complicated pregnancy & their records were needed asap because with Harmony being so spiteful it really goes to show how much of a "caring" practice they are, being that they are willing to chance putting a mother & baby at risk with their petty games. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! I'd give a zero rating if I could! It was a horrible experience. I wish I had found my new Dr. much earlier! read more
