Best place for being checked while pregnant! It's very easy and quick to be attended.

Be very careful if you use this clinic, as their billing/insurance practices are VERY suspicious…read moreand warrant review. After obtaining a medical hearing exam from a physician showing that I need hearing aids, I contacted Sonoran ENT for an appointment to discuss purchasing the devices from them, as they are a "preferred" provider for my insurance company and my insurance would cover $5000 in cost for the aids with no "out of pocket" to me. Sonoran ENT office staff informed me at the time I made my appointment that they would charge me $100 for my appointment, but that amount would be credited to the cost of the hearing aids when I purchased them. My appointment with the audiologist consisted of her showing me a brochure with her recommended choices and the costs of those options (all in excess of $4,000). When I told her that my insurance would pay up to $5,000 towards the cost, she warned me that often they (Sonoran ENT) are only paid $3,100 by insurance companies, and since that amount does not cover the entire cost of the hearing aids, the customer must sign a document at the time of ordering stating that they will pay the balance. I left the clinic and immediately contacted my insurance company and verified with them that my benefits would cover the cost of the hearing aids up to $5,000. The insurance representative called Sonoran ENT and spoke to the office manager to assure her that my policy would pay for hearing aids costing up to $5,000. The office manager informed the insurance representative that they (Sonoran ENT) are only willing to invoice my insurance for $3,100, and if I want to buy the hearing aids, I need to sign the document promising to pay the balance out of pocket (which in this case would be a minimum of about $1,400). The office manager stated that if I am not willing to do that, then I should not buy my hearing aids from them. What I learned is that it is not my insurance company putting the lower benefit amount on my purchase. It is Sonoran ENT manipulating the process to benefit their bottom line. Also, I paid $100 to Sonoran ENT to be shown a brochure and to be told: "Sorry, we will only take part of what your insurance will pay for hearing aids, and you have to pay us the balance." Make sure you ask questions up front about their billing practices. I feel completely cheated out of $100. I did immediately contact another clinic in town who was more than happy to contact my insurance provider to verify the $5000 coverage amount and to fit and sell me a pair of hearing aids that are priced within that benefit amount and will be paid 100% through my policy. CAVEAT EMPTOR!!! There is something fishy with the insurance billing process being conducted by Sonoran ENT.

I have a lot of experience with various ENT practices, and most of them are generally unfriendly…read moreand uninformative. However, this place changed my mind about that, they are so kind and helpful and nonjudgmental. I felt sick during an appointment and the staff with the extra mile to make sure that I felt OK enough to get through the appointment without any shaming or rushing me! I highly recommend this practice and will be returning, I had a fantastic experience with the doctoral student there as well.

I believed all the great reviews - my experience was 180 degrees different. Waited weeks to be…read moreseen - was seen on a Friday and the visit was fine - nothing that I could not have looked up online myself but I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt and try it. Visit was on a Friday morning - Monday afternoon I get a text message demanding payment. I am to call the office or stop in person- I am confused because they are in network with my insurance - so I go online and they have not billed my insurance yet. This was all verified with them up front BEFORE I made the appointment. I call and try to politely inquire about what I presume was a text sent in error and I get talked down to like I am daft and do not understand how insurance works. I stated that I would be happy to IMMEDIATELY pay them as soon as the EOB from the insurance is posted. This was unacceptable and the negative tone continued so I requested that they cancel all my future appointments. They then called me to try to 'help' me. No thank you - when people show you who they are, believe them. I have engaged with three different medical providers over the last few months in this area - when my insurance issued the EOB, they notified me and sent a payment link and I paid immediately. I understand that you need to get paid - I have no issue with that at all but this was handled so unprofessionally that I do not trust your care. Thankful there are other providers to choose from and I will be letting my doctor know to not send her patients here. EDITED TO ADD: Your response reinforces that I do not want to have care at your office. I have NEVER had anyone refuse to bill my insurance and ask that I pay first. I plan to let the insurance company know of your process. Also, I spoke to two people today - gentle suggestion to not presume that people are stupid when they call in. Yes, I was told that I would have to pay what was not covered by my insurance - I understand that and as soon as you get around to billing the visit and the insurance company generates an EOB, I will pay you immediately. Instead of apologizing to an upset patient who is now not getting care, you are instead here defending your practices. If you never bill what insurance does not cover, why are you billing me BEFORE you bill my insurance? That would violate my provider contract with BCBS - perhaps the ones for PT practices are different?
