We were intrigued by the introductory session that we attended on the Creighton Model, and went on to meet with Kimberly individually until we felt confident in using this method. Since then (for the past 6 years) we have faithfully and confidently used the Creighton model to successfully achieve pregnancy at the times that felt right for our family situation. We researched many different clinics for a vasectomy reversal in our home state of Illinois. We found many doctors willing to perform the surgery however they created a lot of doubt for us. They told us that our success rate could not exceed 30%. They had no testimonials or success stories from any of their patients and did not seem confident in the outcome. I was quickly losing faith and was heartbroken at the idea of not being able to have a child with my husband. My husband found ICVR and was shocked to find that their success rates range from 90% to 99%! The surgery was today, September 2, 2015. Dr. Marks and the staff were absolutely amazing! They made us both feel comfortable and at ease. When my husband was taken into surgery I was left in a room equipped with drinks, snacks, magazines, tons of dvd's, TV, comfortable couches and a coffee maker! I was kept updated every 30 minutes on how the surgery was going and was also able to see slides of the specimen they had extracted. The doctor and staff took great care of not only my husband but of me too. We felt like family! I highly recommend Dr. Marks and his staff to be the ones you chose for your reversal surgery. Hundreds of pictures line the walls of their offices and hallways of people who have had children after the surgery. Some in as little as 11 months! When I arrived at the Maternal-Fetal Medicine location on La Cholla, I was "greeted" by a most rude and unsavory reception staff, in particular the woman who handled taking my payment. I couldn't believe I was being dogged when all I did was walk in the door! This nasty woman told me that my out of pocket cost that day was $359.49 and I would need to pay it before the ultrasound. I pressed on and asked if she was sure that was what I owed and was firmly told yes and if I didn't pay it I would not be seen and of course I paid the $359.49. Two months later I received an EOB from my insurance provider and lo and behold my out of pocket for the testing was not $359.49 it was $111.00 proving the woman at the front desk was wrong and she was a creep and I wonder if she does this to all patients. Young ladies go in there with pregnancy complications, and gynecological health concerns and they're worried and scared and other woman may not have had the $359.49 available at that moment - what happens to those girls? Are they told that they can't be seen unless they pay their co-pay? I can stand up for myself and fortunately I had the funds to cover the purported co-pay but not everyone does! I contacted the Genesis billing office twice and received no response. Between the nasty receptionist and the lack of return calls from billing, I'm sad to think that the practice may be void of personal communication and attention to patient needs OTHER than medical.

All the light fixtures and floors look nothing like any other office I've been too and really make it a comfortable place. I had excellent service all three times I called the office and when I came in for my first appointment. I saw Dr.Hook and while it was a very short visit as I was just having a wellness exam, she was very personable and easy to talk too. Lea was nice, but I again, it felt rushed. The main problem with this visit is that I was charged for way more than I was seen for. I was even charged for filling out the new patient forms. I'm not sure how that is legal? I was never told they would charge to fill out their online forms they make you fill out! I was even charged extra when I asked for a refill of a prescription that I normally take. I have called repeatedly to speak with their manager about these charges, Michelle. She has not called me back. Steer clear away from this terribly ran business.
