Dr. Gelety works perfect for me because I am not someone that needs to be treated very gentle and fragile. I was going through an infertility journey that requires to be tough to push through! Dr. Gelety has NEVER been rude or disrespectful in any way. He is quick, thorough, and knows what he is doing. You can see his mind problem solving during appointments. I rather him focus on THE REASON WHY CAME IN rather than him focus on being extra sensitive and fragile with me - that's not what I came in for. It's fine if other people need that type of care and need more of a sensitive approach. But if you want straight answers, getting the job done, and trusting the process- this place is for you! They…read moreabandoned me as a patient after I spent 3500+ on meds and had the audacity to ask about taking vitamins and hormone tracking as I have irregular periods. Ghosted over an email with questions. The nurse was fake nice enough and the only time her facade cracked was when I would ask her questions she wasn't ready to answer or I'd ask questions over and over since they wouldn't answer or address my concerns. Her response was always the same and very rehearsed... I didn't have a problem with it until I realize she didn't have any real answers. Dr. Gelety was nice enough, answered all my questioned, didn't quite assuage my curiosity registering my weight or my irregular periods. Both he and the nurse just basically ignored and never acknowledged that I even asked or said anything about it. He did an ultrasound the first appointment which I thought was only a consult but no... they wanted to rush me thru the procedure. Offered very little guidance outside of meds and the scheduling to harvest. They weren't really concerned with my concerns just getting me thru the procedure. The nurse told me that it was annoying to have to help patients with their shots and that's when I started feeling uneasy. ... I have a traumatic past with needles as a kid so I asked a lot of questions. Her answers were unhelpful. She forgot to fake smile because this was probably the third time in a half hour period I asked about the shots. I don't like having to explain my traumas(and I didn't) but I needed to know the exact process and the side effects and yaddayadda. So anyway now I have wasted all the money on meds. And have terrible anxiety about going to other clinics and asking questions because it's hard enough to get any doctor to listen to me as it is... I gotta go and pretend like this traumatic nonsense never happened.

We felt strongly that we wanted to avoid other forms of birth control and plan our family in a responsible way while also being open to God's plan for our lives. We were intrigued by the introductory session that we attended on the Creighton Model, and went on to meet with Kimberly individually until we felt confident in using this method. Since then (for the past 6 years) we have faithfully and confidently used the Creighton model to successfully achieve pregnancy at the times that felt right for our family situation. We have one nearly 3 year old son and I am pregnant with our second child now. Even though we no longer live in Tucson, Kimberly still offers advice to me when I have questions about unusual cycles or need clarification. I had an extremely disturbing experience with a nurse named Bernadette during my pregnancy, and…read moresharing this for the sake of other families. At our 13-week scan, she told us that due to an anomaly, our baby had only a 20% chance of viability. TWENTY PERCENT chance of viability. She sent us into mourning. In the same conversation, she immediately suggested abortion and mentioned she "knew of a good place." We made it clear that this was not under consideration. Despite that, she brought it up three more times in subsequent interactions. When our NIPT results came back, she approached the situation with an overwhelmingly negative tone and suggested termination yet again. Fortunately, we reviewed the results first and conducted our own research before her doom-and-gloom phone call. Later, when we met with a maternal-fetal medicine doctor and geneticist, we were told, by BOTH of them, that our baby's chances of viability were comparable to ANY OTHER pregnancy. This raises SERIOUS concerns about the accuracy and framing of the information we received. I believe Bernadette has an agenda for termination. This experience was deeply upsetting and traumatic. Medical professionals are in a position of trust, and the way information is communicated, especially in vulnerable moments, matters immensely. If I were a weak mother, I might have believed her. Trusted her. Can you imagine how many weaker mothers she has manipulated into termination?? Seek second opinions and advocate for yourself. And avoid Bernadette as if your life depends on it, because your baby's life does. For the record, our son is here today and thriving.
