In fact if you are shopping for plants and desire some fresh groceries the Co-Op is right there which gets you a little closer to a one stop shop. When we were here they had beautiful flower hanging baskets that we admired greatly! We would have even bought one had we known this garden center was even here but we were planning half a day in the car and that would have done the plants no good but we will plan accordingly next time. The nursery also had lovely pottery for all of the do it yourself planting at your home which we admired also. Such a beautiful facility with all of the plants for sale and one we will certainly keep in mind for our future gardening needs and with a good layout of our plans we are bound to bring home some lovely plants from here to Tacoma for our yard!

Lori followed us out to our car. She looked so mean and did not once talk to my husband and me. She just talked to our daughter. Lori asked my daughter where the sticker price tag came from? That my daughter needs to put it back. Who does that? It's a price tag. There were numerous things in the store that didn't have a price tag. We didn't complain. The lady held my daughter's hand and said, "Are you going to cry?" That's so rude and disrespectful. She kept on saying, "Are you going to cry?" to a 1-year-old? My daughter says a few words. She doesn't know how to talk. My husband and I felt so sad when Lori did that to our daughter. The lady never apologized for her actions. My husband went back inside to tell Lori that what she did was wrong. You don't touch other people's children and yell at them. My daughter didn't break anything. She was happy looking for a dresser for her room. But my daughter ended up crying over a lady bullying her.

It's a great place to try some new plants with little risk. Especially if you just want some filler plants because slugs ate all the heirloom veg you grew from seed ahem. I've gotten three or four starts in three-inch pots for just two dollars before, and as the season goes on, they'll have sales and clearances on more expensive stuff, still never expensive though. Big selection, but tends to be hybrid and conventional items, which meets a lot of my needs. The parking lot is tiny so it can get crowded. I went there on the last day of the season, not knowing it was the last day, and after checking out, they told me they were letting shoppers take any plant for free on their way out! Such a cute little gesture. The lines can get long as they only have two registers max at once and some people make huge purchases that have to all be manually scanned. Not a problem, but just to be aware. Wish their season was longer as I plant for my fall harvests, but looking forward to visiting next year!
