We are from out of town and visited on our way into Cleveland! 1. Coffee was good, my wife and I got iced lattes-- highly recommend their house made syrup! 2. Service was great, food was good, and the vibe was immaculate!

Great selection and ambiance. Quick service and friendly staff. Can't ask for much more. Great coffee as well.

Great Coffee and Quick Breakfast in a small town. I've been to a handful of times now - as I live in pittsburgh. Yet, when I travel for kids sports to surrounding areas I always make a stop. Great decor - vibe and coffee!

I love coming to visit family in the Salem/Greenford area, but the lack of good bougie coffee is always hard to get through. Whenever I travel I search "Cortado" in hopes that I'll be pleasantly surprised. Well Kristen and Jake made my day. They're brewing up Sightglass, Crema, and a couple other beans that really took me by surprise. Well, lo and behold I got my cortado, and it could hold it's own in Venice Beach, Brooklyn, SoDo SoPa, wherever. Thank you guys, I will be seeing you again.

One of my longtime favorite coffee shops in the area. I may be a little biased, considering that I live only 10 mins away.. but the coffee truly is wonderful here. Jake has been working here for many years and is very experienced. I believe they get their beans from Branch Street coffee, which has been voted third best in Ohio. The bagels are delicious. Nicely toasted. I haven't had any of the sandwiches yet. Everything from the atmosphere, the decor and the hospitality is near perfect. My only complaint is that they don't serve the coffee in mugs, only paper cups. But this coffee shop is a staple of the community and we are lucky to have such a great place in our town! Much love!!

LOVE this shop! Hip feel, nice size cafe and amazing coffee drinks! The staff was very friendly and I wished I could have stayed longer.....this is a high end coffee shop in a small town! My cappuccino was made so well too!

Pumpkin latte, perfection. The pumpkin was just barely noticeable and not made from sugary pumpkin syrup(bleh!)

First time coming here with my mom for a visit to Ohio. I was looking for a coffee house local to the area. When I arrived I took notice of its clean, urban atmosphere and was so exited to taste the coffee. Usually when I go to coffee shops like this the quality can let me down. But unlike my usual expectation, the coffee was FANTASTIC. Working in a coffee shop, I know when the barista has taken the time to clean the espresso machine and steam milk properly. I would 100% recommend the coffee as well as the macaroons, which were made almost as good as they are in France. I will be back for sure!!

Firstly, I want to get something out of the way. I am a genuine New York City/New Jersey Bagel…read moresnob. My experience with Bagels hails back to the old H&H on the West Side of Manhattan on Broadway. They had a world-class shipping business which the owner squandered with drugs and tax evasion. What a pity. My second favorite place in New York is Best Bagels and Coffee in Hells kitchen. Fantastic. So here I find myself moving to the Pittsburgh area and wondering if these people know anything about Bagels. I visited a place called Pigeon Bagels. The lines were down the block on a Sunday morning for that place. The bagels were just ok. They were not super bagels like New York City. They were certainly not worth waiting a half an hour to get a dozen bagels that were just ok. So I had my son bring out five dozen bagels from New Jersey the other day. That'll hold me over. Doing my Bagel surveillance, I found out there was a place in Butler that claimed to have New Jersey bagels. This morning I checked it out with very little hope of believing the hype. I had an everything bagel with lox and cream cheese, onion, and tomato. My wife tried the blueberry bagel. To my utter surprise, the sandwich was really good! If you look at my other reviews, you'll see I can be brutal when it comes to reviewing Bagels. As someone who used to live in New Jersey and who used to frequent H&H bagels, having lived in Manhattan, this baby is the real deal. The real McCoy. The genuine article. You get my point. I'll be coming to Downtown Bagels often. The price for the individual bagels are on the high side by over a dollar, but the sandwich prices are very reasonable. I'm going to give this place two thumbs up.

I'm so glad I did! It was about 7 minutes off the main road but very easy to get to. I tried an everything bagel with jalapeño bacon cream cheese. Omg the cream cheese was so good!! The counter service was super quick and the girls working were very nice. I was impressed by the variety of the menu, many different kinds of bagels and cream cheeses, bagel sandwiches, and lots of different delicious sounding coffee drinks and flavorings. They also sold their own everything bagel seasoning and homemade chicken salad etc. it was a great little spot to stop! And the dining area was very sizable if you're looking to sit down and eat.

Mind you they ran out one hour and fifty two minutes before closing on a Saturday. This is not a new business nor a fluke. I have previously experienced and heard customers complain about the slim pickings to choose from and low quantities of those bagels still available. They call themselves a bagel shop? Maybe they'd do better if they forget about selling bagels and sell gasoline instead. Less chance of running out and more happy customers likely even its over four dollars a gallon. Won't be back.

For those of you looking for a true, authentic, hole-in-the-wall bagel shop, look no further…read morebecause "JT's Bagels" will absolutely have you covered. I've eaten at bagel shops when visiting New York City and I've got to tell you, JT's Bagels are as close as you get with absolutely amazing service. Located directly on E. Main Rd. in the small community of Conneaut, this family owned and operated business has been in operation since around 2016. It is on the most easternmost point of Ohio before you hit the Pennsylvania border which is why quite a few people come here traveling from the I-90 highway. As far as the exterior, they do have a fairly decent sized parking lot. I also wanted to point out that they're opened for business 7 days a week; Monday through Saturday from 5:30am-2:00pm and Sunday from 7:00am-2:00pm. This is great for those early birds that wish to get their bagel fix bright and early and well before the crack of dawn. The interior is also quite charming with a few tables for dining in, a neat little display area, and large glass displays showcasing their vast amount selection of bagels. Since I was in the mood for a yummy breakfast bagel, I decided to go with their "Bacon, Egg, & Cheese" bagel (for $6.00) on a cheese flavored bagel. Since it was only a five-minute drive from the Airbnb that I was staying at, I decided to order this to-go. Once arriving at my Airbnb, I was immediately sold with how thick and soft the bagel was. One bite of this and I was absolutely sold. It packed so much denseness while being flavorful, spongy, and a nice chewy texture to it; just the way a bagel should be made. They also included a fluffy scrambled egg and two strips of smoked bacon which perfected this sandwich. I've got to say, their selection is quite impressive with over a dozen bagel varieties as well as over a dozen cream cheese selections. They even carry muffins, bagel chips, Danishes, and regular house coffee. And if you decide to come here for lunch, they have a respectable amount of salads and sandwiches, including "Club", "BLT", Chicken Salad", "Egg Salad", and much more. All in all, "JT's Bagels" is as good as it gets when it comes to an authentic bagel shop. And you don't even need to take a subway or taxi to get here. Hats off to the staff for amazing service, very decent prices, and some of the tastiest bagels in all of Ohio. My rating, a unanimous five stars.
