Great food and service! Some of the best Chinese food I've had in a long time! The amount was more than enough for one person.

Average! Nothing special as far as my Kung Poa or Rice. The egg roll was the gen of my meal. Waitress was actually rude which dropped this 3 star restaurant to 2.

We've been eating here for a couple years and everything we get tastes great. I've noticed that they've temporarily closed for what I'm hoping is a remodel and will be reopening sometime soon. They have THE BEST egg rolls in town and the customer service especially in their drive thru is friendly!

After countless times coming, I've been meaning to make a review about this place. Everything in…read moretheir menu is something great, with some of my personal favorites being the Homestyle Trio with Eggplant, their Mapo Tofu (off menu, no gatekeeping), their Spicy Chicken Noodle Soup (a wee too spicy for me personally, but I love the simplicity of it), and the General Tso's Chicken. The eggplant dish mentioned is very rich and flavorful, with the eggplant cooked to be soft and almost mushy (but in a good way), nicely complimented by particularly the beef. Their lo mein is a little watery on various occasions, but still maintains a great and very nice flavor. Their fried rice is one of my favorites in the area and is always very well made no matter the time of day. The fried chicken wings, crab puffs, and crab bomber appetizers are both just such standouts in what is often an overlooked part of the menu by many restaurants. I have nothing but praise about how this place handles food. The staff is all really nice and welcoming from entrance to walking out the door. They are very good with order additions or food/allergy restrictions and the dishes always come out in a timely (but not rushed) manner, no matter whether it is a weekday morning or a busy dinner crowd. I'd recommend the lunch special for anyone coming around that time, as the deal of egg rolls, soup, and an entree or 2-3 sushi rolls for a low price is a steal. The ambiance nice for sure and the tables are clean, though I do sometimes get disoriented by the wallpaper they use (I think it's just me though). Whenever this place first opened, I was very disappointed in the restaurant. Meals were salt with a side of meat and rice and was just overall underwhelming. But now, it is one of my family's go to places whenever we need quality food in a short distance. Definitely worth a try, even over other restaurants in the area that serve a similar menu.

Even so, we didn't have to wait for a table for two. The meal was filling. The portion sizes are enough to feed two people. I made some alterations to my order and they were happy to oblige. Our service was great. I could tell the waitress was new and still learning so I worked with her. She now knows that they do have serve a salmon dish that comes with jumbo shrimp, steamed vegetables and the rice of your choice. This dish was pretty good. I could have done without the jumbo jalapeño though. I enjoyed the seaweed salad. It came with a bed of lettuce and a creamy dressing. Not the typical seaweed salad, but enjoyable nonetheless.

I travel all over the country for my job been to every state multiple times I try to sample sushi everywhere I go except for areas far away from the ocean. This place is definitely not traditional Japanese but more of an American lounge fusion but it works. The people very nice and friendly and talkative but the food was what was amazing. I usually go straight for sashimi maybe a sushi roll and forget about all the fixings. But at this place even the salad and the soup that always comes with the sushi dinner was out of this world! It was all I could do to finish my dinner. Not sure the next time I'll be in Port author Texas but when I am I will definitely come back here.

We ordered everything at once and it came out almost immediately, which was honestly confusing I thought the server had brought another table's food. 9/18/2026: The absolute best bang for your buck at L'Auberge!…read more If you're looking for fantastic food, top-tier service, and speed that gets you right back to your casino plans, Asia checks every single box. No other restaurant inside L'Auberge offers this complete combination of speed, quality, value, and convenience. Here is what made our visits so memorable: The Egg Rolls (10/10): Whatever you do, do not skip the egg rolls! They are ridiculously good and served with a great sauce. We loved them so much that after leaving the blackjack table the next night, we came back just to get another order to go! Hunan Chicken & White Rice: Since they didn't have Kung Pao, they accommodated us by bringing out crushed peanuts on the side. The Hunan chicken was very good with a nice, satisfying kick to it--and their sticky white rice was fantastic and cooked perfectly. Lettuce Wraps: My friend tried the lettuce wraps (sorry, no photo!) and gave them rave reviews--they also had a nice little spicy kick. Speed & Service: The staff was exceptionally friendly and incredibly efficient. We had a concert to get to, and they had us served, fed, and out the door in plenty of time without ever making us feel rushed. Value & Convenience: For a sit-down restaurant inside a casino, the prices are very reasonable. Whether you want a quick sit-down meal in a great atmosphere or need to grab delicious take-out to take back to your room or the casino floor, this is the spot. For me, it's all about fast service, great food, and getting right back to my casino activities. Asia nails it every time--we will definitely be back! A note for L'Auberge management: I really hope leadership is paying attention. The Golden Nugget is completely outclassing L'Auberge when it comes to dining options. L'Auberge desperately needs to step up its game, and bringing in more fantastic spots like Asia would be a great start. While you're at it, replacing Johnny Sánchez with an authentic, quality Mexican restaurant should be top priority. Coming from Texas, we're admittedly spoiled with incredible Tex-Mex and Latin cuisine, but Johnny Sánchez is truly disappointing--I've eaten there multiple times and have never had a remotely good meal. Has anyone else noticed the overall decline in dining quality across L'Auberge lately?

They must have had it already made and just scooped some in a bowl. For $23 I got a 6" bowl with one layer of chicken (maybe 11 pieces) and a small bowl of rice. Not only was it not spicy, it wasn't very good at all. Bottom line, I won't be back and I don't recommend getting the orange chicken.

From the moment our guests arrived, the manager repeatedly harassed people about whether they had paid. There was no sign posted anywhere stating that party guests had to pay upon entering, and several people were only there to celebrate with us they didn't even eat. Despite that, they were still questioned and made to feel uncomfortable. What really upset me was seeing the manager approach a 12-year-old child and try to take his drink, asking if he had paid for it. That should have never happened. I repeatedly explained that everyone had paid, and every guest had a receipt. I even asked if they wanted to see my bank transaction because the constant questioning had become excessive and embarrassing. Another issue was that they charged children the adult buffet price simply because of their height. They're still children, and that policy should be made clear before charging families. To make matters worse, much of the food was cold. We actually had to wait until fresh, hot food was brought out before we could eat and still didn't enjoy because it was all disgusting. Overall, what should have been a joyful celebration turned into a stressful and frustrating experience because of how we and our guests were treated. I believe customer service should make people feel welcomed, not singled out or accused. Sadly, I cannot recommend this restaurant based on my experience.
