Chicken teriyaki.
Gary G.

It was ok. My wife and I were visiting her brother and family in the area and this is one of the decent restaurants that was open apparently. They had never been to this place but it seemed steady with customers. I had the chicken teriyaki that was about the same as any other place I've visited except that it came on a bed of onions that was massive. I don't know how many onions made up that bed but wow...was I supposed to eat that? My family had sushi, fried ice cream, and other dishes which they seemed to enjoy. All in all a decent visit but nothing spectacular.

Wow this place was yummy, I had the Mongolian grill and it was yummy! Vonda had the Hibachi scallops and it was perfect. The waitress was very positive and explained the way the place works. It was very clean and our food came out very fast and was cooked as we requested. My only complaint was that it was very dark inside. Other than that it was great and we will be back.

Food was pretty good!

Been here a few times .. service is usually good .. but they close at 9:30pm .. so don't even bother coming here after 8:30pm because the service sucks close to closing time! Pretty much nonexistent!

These people never seem to disappoint with food. My parents leave near this restaurant and always send me pictures of their food! It is routine now, every time I go to see them; we have to eat here. It's like a lunch line if you get the red bowl. You stack your items that you'd like in it and drop it off for them the cook. Your even pick your carb as in noodles, rice, or even cabbage. You even get to choose your own sauce! I brought a best friend there and she fell in love with it as well. Our service this time was the best, he was very slow which you could tell he was fairly new. I always hate to ask for a refill of drinks. Almost a pet peeve. If you are ever in town, it's worth the wait!

First time experience customers. We were looking for something different in our new small town for the forth of July holiday and this place came highly recommended to us by perfect strangers. We personally had an amazing experience here. Atmosphere for dinner was great, our server was spot on and very attentive to our table and needs. The food was presented beautifully ,fresh without a long wait. Ordered 2 Crab Puffs, 2 Habachi Steak and Chicken and 2 Chicken Teriyaki which also came with soup, salad and Chicken Tempra. Plus 1 Fried Cream and 4 drinks. We brought a lot of it home. To much to eat in one setting.

9/18/2026: The absolute best bang for your buck at L'Auberge!…read more If you're looking for fantastic food, top-tier service, and speed that gets you right back to your casino plans, Asia checks every single box. No other restaurant inside L'Auberge offers this complete combination of speed, quality, value, and convenience. Here is what made our visits so memorable: The Egg Rolls (10/10): Whatever you do, do not skip the egg rolls! They are ridiculously good and served with a great sauce. We loved them so much that after leaving the blackjack table the next night, we came back just to get another order to go! Hunan Chicken & White Rice: Since they didn't have Kung Pao, they accommodated us by bringing out crushed peanuts on the side. The Hunan chicken was very good with a nice, satisfying kick to it--and their sticky white rice was fantastic and cooked perfectly. Lettuce Wraps: My friend tried the lettuce wraps (sorry, no photo!) and gave them rave reviews--they also had a nice little spicy kick. Speed & Service: The staff was exceptionally friendly and incredibly efficient. We had a concert to get to, and they had us served, fed, and out the door in plenty of time without ever making us feel rushed. Value & Convenience: For a sit-down restaurant inside a casino, the prices are very reasonable. Whether you want a quick sit-down meal in a great atmosphere or need to grab delicious take-out to take back to your room or the casino floor, this is the spot. For me, it's all about fast service, great food, and getting right back to my casino activities. Asia nails it every time--we will definitely be back! A note for L'Auberge management: I really hope leadership is paying attention. The Golden Nugget is completely outclassing L'Auberge when it comes to dining options. L'Auberge desperately needs to step up its game, and bringing in more fantastic spots like Asia would be a great start. While you're at it, replacing Johnny Sánchez with an authentic, quality Mexican restaurant should be top priority. Coming from Texas, we're admittedly spoiled with incredible Tex-Mex and Latin cuisine, but Johnny Sánchez is truly disappointing--I've eaten there multiple times and have never had a remotely good meal. Has anyone else noticed the overall decline in dining quality across L'Auberge lately?

They must have had it already made and just scooped some in a bowl. For $23 I got a 6" bowl with one layer of chicken (maybe 11 pieces) and a small bowl of rice. Not only was it not spicy, it wasn't very good at all. Bottom line, I won't be back and I don't recommend getting the orange chicken.

I travel all over the country for my job been to every state multiple times I try to sample sushi everywhere I go except for areas far away from the ocean. This place is definitely not traditional Japanese but more of an American lounge fusion but it works. The people very nice and friendly and talkative but the food was what was amazing. I usually go straight for sashimi maybe a sushi roll and forget about all the fixings. But at this place even the salad and the soup that always comes with the sushi dinner was out of this world! It was all I could do to finish my dinner. Not sure the next time I'll be in Port author Texas but when I am I will definitely come back here.

We ordered everything at once and it came out almost immediately, which was honestly confusing I thought the server had brought another table's food. After countless times coming, I've been meaning to make a review about this place. Everything in…read moretheir menu is something great, with some of my personal favorites being the Homestyle Trio with Eggplant, their Mapo Tofu (off menu, no gatekeeping), their Spicy Chicken Noodle Soup (a wee too spicy for me personally, but I love the simplicity of it), and the General Tso's Chicken. The eggplant dish mentioned is very rich and flavorful, with the eggplant cooked to be soft and almost mushy (but in a good way), nicely complimented by particularly the beef. Their lo mein is a little watery on various occasions, but still maintains a great and very nice flavor. Their fried rice is one of my favorites in the area and is always very well made no matter the time of day. The fried chicken wings, crab puffs, and crab bomber appetizers are both just such standouts in what is often an overlooked part of the menu by many restaurants. I have nothing but praise about how this place handles food. The staff is all really nice and welcoming from entrance to walking out the door. They are very good with order additions or food/allergy restrictions and the dishes always come out in a timely (but not rushed) manner, no matter whether it is a weekday morning or a busy dinner crowd. I'd recommend the lunch special for anyone coming around that time, as the deal of egg rolls, soup, and an entree or 2-3 sushi rolls for a low price is a steal. The ambiance nice for sure and the tables are clean, though I do sometimes get disoriented by the wallpaper they use (I think it's just me though). Whenever this place first opened, I was very disappointed in the restaurant. Meals were salt with a side of meat and rice and was just overall underwhelming. But now, it is one of my family's go to places whenever we need quality food in a short distance. Definitely worth a try, even over other restaurants in the area that serve a similar menu.

Even so, we didn't have to wait for a table for two. The meal was filling. The portion sizes are enough to feed two people. I made some alterations to my order and they were happy to oblige. Our service was great. I could tell the waitress was new and still learning so I worked with her. She now knows that they do have serve a salmon dish that comes with jumbo shrimp, steamed vegetables and the rice of your choice. This dish was pretty good. I could have done without the jumbo jalapeño though. I enjoyed the seaweed salad. It came with a bed of lettuce and a creamy dressing. Not the typical seaweed salad, but enjoyable nonetheless.

It was alright. Our…read moreOrder: one mild and one extra spicy general tso. One beef and broccoli special. One chicken lo mein. 4 egg rolls. Quart of hot and sour soup. 6 crab rangoons. 10 steamed dumplings. 2 orders of white rice. For starters, the crab rangoons are large and triangular, it made them a little hard to eat. But they were okay. The steamed dumplings, egg rolls, and the hot and sour soup were by far the best of the order. Hot and sour soup was flavorful, not too gelatin filled, good. The steamed dumplings were hot, sauce was good, and they went quickly. Lastly, the egg rolls were crispy but not soggy, filled with deliciousness. The mild and extra spicy general tso... the only difference betweem the two? One had more sauce than the other. Big let down, was expecting some serious heat. But they were still decent. Beef and broccoli, we counted there were 5 slices of beef. It wasnt a very large order of meat in this one. It did have a bit of flavor, but i have had many better dishes elsewhere. The chicken lo mein was probably the most bland of them all, but the most quantity given. One of the group said it was his favorite of the bunch. The white rice was way more than we all expected to receive. It was a full styrofoam container filled to the lid. Overall, we have all had better, but it did fill us up, and wasnt too crazy expensive for three hungry workers.
