    I'm hooked water hose

Took the van in to get the bowed out water tank fixed along with the water pump. 1. The hose line to the water pump was not put back together. So water spewed everywhere all over the van. Under cabinetry with no way to get to it. 2. The new bracket they put in for the water tank, they screwed in with screws that were TOO LONG. PUNCTURING THE WATER TANK COMPLETELY! they left it in worse condition it was brought to them in. I rent my van out. I will have to cancel/refund bookings until this is fixed. GENERAL RV, you better pay me back ALL that I lose!!!!!!!!! You have got to have literal 12 year olds working on these vehicles!

Holiday Rambler Admiral 32S Motorhome and "Toad" 4Runner
    Terry F.

Just picked up our new motorhome, and we're very happy. After a lot of research, we bought our first class A motorhome (sight-unseen) through Bobby in General RV Internet department. Ended up doing a special order so that we could get exactly what we wanted. Closed the deal the first week in January and was told to "expect delivery April or May, but supply chain issues could delay". The coach came off the assembly line at the end of March and was in Salt Lake City three weeks later. It took us a few more weeks to arrange the drive from CA to pick it up. We negotiated a good price, and they got us financing terms that were more than a point better than Camping World. The initial walk-through was rough. The woman who was supposed to show us how everything worked on the coach had poor customer service skills and knew little about our coach. When I was trying to understand the radio, she actually said "we sell motorhomes, not radios, you'll have to figure it out." Needless to say, that did not go over well, but we got an instant response from Bobby, and then Jeff the service manager and Robert the owner. This is our first class A, but we've had 4 trailers and a class C, so we expected some issues with the new coach. They made sure all our punch list items were taken care of in a day, and squeezed us in to install a satellite dish too. Jeff even helped troubleshoot my wiring problem on the 4Runner so we could tow it home. Overall, we're very happy with the experience and the way we were ultimately treated at General RV. I'm sure we'll have more things that need to be taken care of under warranty (and beyond), but the build, component and fixture quality on the Holiday Rambler is quite good, and better than expected.

Update in response to Recreation RV Sales comments:…read more Your reply is misleading and leaves out important facts. The "four hours in your driveway" was me transferring all my belongings from my old RV into this one -- the slides were briefly pushed out and back for about fifteen minutes while it was sprinkling. I was given an approximately 3-mile test drive, which did not reveal the problems I discovered on the 12-hour trip home. A professional RV inspector confirmed nearly $7,000 in needed repairs. Slide seals don't fail after a single road trip, nor does an awning suddenly let daylight through after one week. I did call for help and when I didn't get a response, I texted. Your answer was to scold me for texting and tell me to email. When I asked for a refund after learning the true extent of repairs, your response was essentially "too bad, you bought it." Yes, there were no smells, rust, or leaks, but I was repeatedly assured this RV was in "pristine condition." That was false. I have not been able to drive this RV since I purchased it. It was also unprofessional for you to post my full last name when my review appears only as "Debbie M." -- a petty move that reflects poorly on your business and says a lot about your character. I'm sharing these details so future buyers have a clear understanding of what to expect and can make informed decisions.

His in-depth videos answered every question we had--these truly are unique, purpose-built trailers, not something you can just pick up anywhere. When we finally visited RVs of America in Utah, Josh took the lead on our purchase and made sure we got a very fair deal. Their service team worked quickly on the custom upgrades we wanted--knowing we'd traveled a long way, they had everything ready in record time so we didn't have to stay extra days. On pickup day, Coby spent the entire day walking us through every feature of our new trailer, double-checking that all our ordered options were installed exactly as requested. Anyone who's camped in a small space knows how quickly it can become challenging--especially sharing with family. So, when my wife excitedly said, "We should buy our own trailer!" it seemed perfect for creating our family memories. We visited dealership after dealership, touring countless trailers until they blended together. One day, my wife burst through the door exclaiming, "I found the perfect trailer!" Her excitement was contagious, and we immediately planned to see it. At Bish's RV, the salesperson warmly showed us the trailer. I specifically asked about an inverter, and she assured me it was "wired for one but doesn't include it." Comfortable with that, we discussed financing. She confidently promised they could beat any other bank by 50%, an offer that seemed fantastic. We slept on it and, convinced we'd found our dream trailer, returned the next day to complete the paperwork. After clearly agreeing on our maximum affordable payment, we were shocked to see the actual payment higher than agreed. Despite this, we moved forward, eager for joyful camping memories. Our excitement quickly turned to frustration. During our first trip, we found water leaking beneath the trailer when flushing the black tank. Disappointed, we returned it to Bish's RV, who also replaced a missing dust cap. With hopes restored, we believed our troubles were over. However, while winterizing, we discovered the water heater bypass valve wasn't functioning, forcing another visit. The following season brought more disappointment--the water heater wouldn't start. After a week-long stay at the dealership, we learned it was due to loose wiring. Our breaking point came on our most recent outing. My daughter sat down, and the bench collapsed beneath her. Her shock deeply saddened me. Inspecting further, I found the supports poorly stapled, careless and avoidable. Later, my wife quietly asked, "Does the fridge look strange?" Our hearts sank as we saw it falling into the cabinet, shattering our dreams of joyful, relaxing trips. Feeling disheartened, we contacted BishFix. Despite the warranty, they required a $190 upfront fee. We reluctantly paid, enduring a month of delays and frustrations as the technician awaited BishFix authorization. Another traumatic moment was the door lock failing, locking us out. Since we live in our trailer full-time due to my wife's role as a camp host, this was more than inconvenient--it was terrifying. After dinner with family, we found the key spinning uselessly in the lock. Panic overwhelmed my youngest daughter, who had a heartbreaking panic attack. Roadside assistance repeatedly asked for my details, promising callbacks but never helping. Desperate and exhausted, I pushed out a window screen and lifted my nephew inside to unlock the door. Finally, I drove an hour and a half to Bish's RV to speak directly with someone. After repeatedly explaining our situation, feeling unheard and overlooked, they arranged for a technician the next day. Upon arrival, the technician confirmed my suspicion that the blinds were installed backward. The always polite and professional service desk employee promised the Regional Manager would contact me. When he did, rather than providing solutions, he shared unrelated frustrations about delays on his expensive home project. Feeling even more unheard and dismissed, he eventually promised to evaluate our trailer's current value, leaving us waiting again. We've documented numerous build-quality issues, heartbreakingly evident from our very first trips. Photos show these issues clearly, but the emotional toll--the disappointment, broken promises, and seeing my family's excitement dashed repeatedly--is immeasurable. Even the door, randomly locking or refusing to open, symbolizes our experience. We share this hoping other families can avoid the heartache we've endured.
