Ok...so I read the reviews after our friends booked this place for an overnight stop. It was too late to change reservations, so I just held my breath. After reading the reviews I was very nervous about what to expect. When we arrived the staff was very friendly and helped us to navigate gas stations and grocery stores (even printed a map). The entry was well manicured with green grass and a small waterfall. They had a small store inside the office to buy miscellaneous sundries and a pool table adjacent to the office. They gave us the appropriate size spaces for our Trailers (we have a 33') and they were all pull throughs. I was worried about the fwy noise but i really didn't hear it when we went to sleep. Some of the permanent residents have bought those tiny homes (see pictures) which really added to the park. There is a pool with a jacuzzi and a nice picnic area next to it. I didn't use the shower area but heard it was clean. We were parked towards the front of the park, which was nice. If you go further in there are permanent residence and it is not as nice but we were happy where we were. There was also two nice picnic table for each RV spot but you have to share the grass area. CONS: our space had about 20 ft of grass between our front doors so there wasn't much privacy. We were about 7' away from our other RV neighbors so we left the blinds shut on that side. We could open our porch cover all the way but I could tell some other spots were too tight for that. They have a nice dog area up front and a gated gravel dog run on the side. I didn't bring my dogs into the gravel area because it looked pretty nasty. The trees are large and great for shade, but we couldn't get out on satellite. For one night we didn't care. Maybe they read their Yelp reviews and made some good changes

Our view out the front of our RV.

Why this park has an ability to participate in Good Sam and rated a 9 is totally beyond me because of the trailer park located there. 70 percent of this area is trashy and there is a long term trailer park that surrounds the RV park section. There are a few nicer spots centrally located but the back area and the sides surrounding the RV park are long term campers and trailers, many of which are in poor repair and trash all around. If you have another option, take it.

Not really. They started us out at 1050.00 a month and beginning in May, it goes up to 1500.00!!!!!! On an income of SSDI, we have to move!

Well, it turns out that they won't let you choose your campsite, so we have never gone back.

This is a super place to stay. Much like the best established campgrounds back home in the beautiful Pocono Mountains in the great state of Pennsylvania, this place is peacefully nestled in the beautiful mountains of Utah. Easy pull-through sites let you drive straight in and pull straight out, without backing up (great for big units like mine), easily-accessed back-in sites, clean swimming pool area, spotless restrooms, kids play area, nicely-equipped convenience store, and many more amenities, make Echo Island RV Resort a perfect place for camping. It has a safe family-oriented environment, as well. Our entire camping experience has been painless. Echo Island RV Resort has got to be one of the best campgrounds in this region. Congratulations to the manager and staff for providing my family with a pleasant 6-day camping experience. Originally planned a 2-night stay. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED (without hesitation).  Thanks for looking !!

We got a space in the back which has a fenced patio area, perfect for dogs and kids to play without worrying! Would highly recommend this campground to anyone looking for a getaway or just passing through! Close to park city, salt lake, reservoirs, skiing and sight areas in northern Utah! They have fire pits, good walking areas, grass areas for kids to play. Pickle ball courts, pools, zip lining, you name it! So much fun! We will definitely stay here again!

I first heard about Knotty Pine RV Resort on social media-someone had posted about the beautiful…read morescenery and the plethora of activities to do, but what hooked me were the pictures of the tiny house (cottage) available to rent. I'm a sucker for tiny houses, in fact I dream to live in one someday, so I was looking forward to my stay here. We do a decent amount of "camping" in our trailer, but this weekend, it was the tiny house that called to me. I was absolutely shocked that I was able to reserve it last minute for Friday through Sunday. We arrived after the registration office was closed, but found our information in a box by the front door. The cottage was far better than the pictures on the resort's website-it has a main bedroom with a queen bed and four single beds up in the loft. There's also a small couch in the living area. You could fit six people in here easily. Note that the loft is only about five feet tall, so most people won't be able to stand upright. But it's a kid's paradise! The kitchen is stocked with basic dishes and utensils plus full oven, stove and refrigerator. The bathroom has simple shampoo/conditioner/soap. The quality is pretty low, so if you want nicer stuff, bring your own from home. There is a TV in the living area, but not in the bedroom or loft. There is a picnic table and fire pit outside, so you can get a taste of the camping experience while still enjoying the luxury of a "home." The campground itself is very pretty-lots of beautiful trees and a tranquil river that runs nearby. There is a clubhouse with pool table, arcade game and several seating areas to socialize. They have activities occasionally, mostly geared toward the littles. The layout of the campground is slightly disjointed, and the further toward the back you go, the less it's maintained. There were some spots that appeared to be storage areas rather than camping spots, but they were dispersed between the others. Since we did not pull our RV, I can't talk to how hard it was to navigate, but there are back-in as well as pull-through spots available. The pool and hot tub were always hopping-people seemed to enjoy those. They advertise having wi-fi, but it's terrible. Some people may not care about that, since you're going camping in the mountains. But if you're online reading reviews, I reckon you might want at least a little internet connectivity. It's there, but it's pretty slow. And the cellular data (I have T-Mobile) is nonexistent. It's a beautiful place, and once I get over my with drawl from being online, I'll find myself extremely relaxed and one with nature.

Had an amazing weekend. Staff was so incredibly friendly and helpful.. Pool was a definite plus…read more. Will Definitely be going Back.

Just a few minutes away from Utah Lake State Park you'll find this lovely campground-surrounded by…read moretrees. It has a feel to it that newer campgrounds don't always have-nostalgia, mature landscaping and a hint of down home hospitality. I believe this is a family run park. Check in was fairly simple and we were given a map and information sheet on the park. The sites are close together, but they have you pull in alternating directions, so you can give yourself a little more room on your door side. The sites have grassy areas, trees and gravel to park on. They are well maintained and they ask you not to park or put rugs down on the grass. There are also no fires allowed at the RV sites. We did not experience any noise issues beyond a few planes flying in to the nearby airport and lots of nature sounds around us. There are plenty of birds that call these trees home, along with a pasture of cows nearby that sang us songs in the morning (I think they were being herded or fed-either way, they had something to say about it.) There are bathrooms, showers and laundry facilities onsite. We used the showers and they were very clean and well maintained. The Provo River winds around the perimeter of the park. I didn't know that originally, but found out when I went for a walk and discovered a nice path and water. It's very pretty! There is wifi available-we had no trouble with it. There's also a nice dog run and a seasonal pool. We did not use either of them, but made note for future visits. This is a campground we will definitely return to!

WARNING: DO NOT STAY HERE. Absolute Slum Conditions & Toxic Management. If I could give Lakeside…read moreHaven RV Resort negative stars, I would. Do not be fooled by the beautiful pictures they post online--those are from years ago when the park first opened. Today, this place is a neglected, hazardous dump run by a toxic, completely unprofessional management team. We moved in on December 27th, renting a lot and an 18-foot camper for $750/month. We were assured it was "move-in ready." That was a blatant lie. On our first day, I opened the fridge/freezer combo, and hundreds of German cockroaches fell out of it like Niagara Falls. It required three separate bug bombs just to make the place semi-livable. On top of that, Mario, the manager, left a whole turkey in the freezer that thawed out and leaked putrid turkey juices all over the appliance. There was also absolutely no hot water because the water heater had a massive crack in it. It leaked so severely that it saturated the floor, causing the kitchen floor to visibly sag. When they finally came to "fix" the water heater, they smashed a massive hole in the side of the camper and just left it wide open. Because of their negligence, my cat escaped, and my girlfriend and I spent three agonizing days waiting for him to return. Thankfully, he did. The windows were also broken and just covered with cardboard and tape, and the sink was completely backed up because the previous tenant had dumped a hoard of pennies down the drain. When I confronted the manager, Mario, about these biohazards and structural failures, he didn't offer to fix them immediately. Instead, he coldly offered a refund. He knew exactly what he was doing--he put us in a position where we either had to live in a roach-infested, broken camper or be homeless. We had to stay and watch them take their sweet time doing bare-minimum repairs. When anyone has a legitimate issue with the park, Mario gets incredibly rude, nasty, and aggressive. If you express how unhappy you are with the conditions, management's official response is literally: "Don't like it? Move." Management is rarely even on-site--maybe once or twice a month--but they sure know how to cause drama. They constantly spread lies around the park claiming we weren't paying our bills, which is defamation. We have every single receipt proving we have paid on time, every single month. Furthermore, the utility situation is a massive rip-off. There is only one meter for the entire park. Management leaves the lights on and the AC blasting at 68 degrees constantly in common areas, and because of the single meter, the tenants are forced to split the bill for their energy waste. You are also paying out of pocket for "amenities" like a laundry room that should be covered. The park looks like absolute shit. The boat dock is in such disrepair it will literally ruin your boat if you try to use it. Worse than the infrastructure is the total lack of safety. They will let anyone move in here, including active drug users and people with violent, dangerous criminal records. To give you an idea of how dangerous this place is, I accidentally butt-dialed the police once. When the cop arrived, he literally told me that they get so many emergency calls for this park--ranging from domestic abuse to drug issues--that they are forced to come out and physically verify everyone is okay, even for a confirmed accidental dial. The police are fully aware of how awful this place is. There is also zero confidentiality. Management acts friendly to get your money, but once you are locked in, they treat you like garbage and spread your personal business. They literally told brand-new tenants intimate, private medical details about a resident living here with cancer. It is deeply disrespectful, unethical, and disgusting behavior. They trap you, lie about you, neglect the property, and treat you like absolute shit. For the love of God, stay the hell away from Lakeside Haven RV Resort and Mario.
