Excellent RV park in Moab. Wonderful staff. Great bathrooms. Spacious and easy to get in and out with 40 foot class A towing a Jeep sedan.

Stayed at the park for a week between Christmas and New Year Day. Quiet, clean, and nice people. Good location for getting around the area.

We needed a place to stop overnight on our way home. I found Park City RV resort. Knowing we would…read morebe coming in late I picked their pull-through D-1-NEVER AGAIN! 1. Really appreciate for after hour arrivals they tape your reservation info on board. Had our name and clear instructions. 2. I had to pee so bad, but no code on our reservation sheet BUT note saying check e-mail for code. I appreciate they do that. It's more secure for everyone staying there. 3. Dog area a simple fenced area with bench. Nothing special BUT it's nice to have a place my boys can go off lease and do a walk about. The traffic noise ALL NIGHT was insane. The site is very sterile, no picnic tables What gets me is we paid way more for this place then places that offered way more, not sterile. 'Desperate Times Call for Desperate Measures'. The laundry room and front restrooms were clean. I found the sign hanging in the laundry room funny. The restroom one woman's and one men's each had a toilet and a shower stall. The shower water had great pressure and temperature. When I reached in to turn on the water it shot directly at me and slightly outside the shower stall. My clothing got slightly wet...so get naked before turning on water and good luck adjusting water temperature before getting in. I add this part of my review regarding the warning notice attached to our reservation sheet because of the differing opinion between me and my partner. I found my partner's reaction perplexing. He was upset saying all this place is "Don't do this, don't do that...don't do $@#¥." He couldn't get out fast enough. My opinion: I'm glad to see they put that out a in clear written notice but sad they have to. What's sad is they have to do it. I told to go take hot shower...he was in a better mood after . Good hot shower really an help one's preceptive . Would I recommend them? Not for a long stay. Only an emergency one night but stay away from D1-4, the I80 road noise is horrible. They really should discount those sites.

We liked that there was a bit of grass in our space, but the dump did not work and it seems like the dumps are a bit high, which is not the best. We were only there 2 nights in a travel van, so we were able to move to another lot to dump before checking out. This would be very inconvenient if we needed to dump any sooner. I found it odd that they didn't offer to refund any of our money since we paid for full hookups. The bathrooms did not appear to be well kept. The shower was old and had a leaky faucet. The bathroom seemed somewhat clean but old. The bathrooms are limited as there is only one for men and one for women. This park may be a good choice if you are stopping over for one night and want the convenience of being right off the freeway, otherwise for the price, it is not worth it.

As soon as I walked in to check in I could see this was a beautiful KOA. It has a large store with plenty of snacks, pool & hot tub. There are a lot of games & courtyards for the kids to play. The bathrooms were clean and maintained. Full grown trees provided plenty of shade. A true oasis in the heart of the city.

Doesn't hurt to ask, right? So I called and said we were thinking about reserving a night there, but wanted to check if they had any available places for short-term storage afterwards, as we would be staying elsewhere for the next 3 nights. Woman on phone, very rudely: "Do you mean you don't want to stay here with us at all but you want to store your trailer here?" Me: "No" (repeated the same info as before). Woman, very curtly: "So we need to get you registered for a night then." Me, a little more warily: "Well we're considering it, but I just wanted to check about any available storage options you may have." Woman: "No, if you pay for a site, then you can store it here." Clearly, just asking a simple yes or no question was very harmful (to them) and their rude and hurtful reaction means that they are not interested in our business at all. A simple, kind, " No, I'm sorry we don't offer that" would have been lovely. Management may want to speak to the people who answer the phone, and re-teach what respectful interactions look like. This is a very nice RV park that is perfectly nestled in Provo, close to the beautiful Provo River…read moretrail, yet feels remote without actually being far from everything. Check-in was friendly and went easily. The park offered a AAA, veterans/military and first responders 10% discount which was incredibly generous. The downsides: *Regardless of the discount, and despite not being able to use some of the amenities (pool was closed), the rates didn't appear to change for summer vs. fall (it was well over $200 for a 3 night stay). *The park is directly across from Provo Airport. We woke up to blasting plane engines at 6am on a Saturday. It's not quiet and peaceful about 1/4th of your days there. *The small dog park does not have a pathway to the entrance. You have to walk through a lawn/dirt area to enter vs. the large dog park area that has an asphalt surface. There were severe storms the weekend I was there, so that required some navigation through mud and muck to enter. Dog bags are not inside the small dog area either, unlike the large dog area. *We were called about our dog pen exceeding the allowed dimensions even though we shared the joined grass area with friends (they were aware of this), but our neighbors were allowed to smoke next to us (which inundated our space with cigarette smoke all day long because apparently they couldn't not smoke constantly) and people were allowed to ride around the park on an electric bike blasting music up until 11:30 at night and throughout the day. *Spaces face each other, so if you aren't friends with your neighbors, you'll be sharing a green area with strangers. It might be awkward for some introverts (like myself). *Wifi was easy to log into but would drop constantly. It was slow when on. Probably due to heavy use. There were also great things about the park: *Though slightly dark and dated, the bathrooms and showers were very clean and well maintained. *Sites are well taken care of and are level. Large trees provide shade and beauty. *Loved the dog areas (though access to the small dog side wasn't desirable). *The park is lovely, though long-time residents are there and some have "eclectic" spaces. *Easy to get to the freeway and close to Salt Lake without feeling far away. *Close to several hiking spots and interesting places to visit. We would visit again as a stop-over vs. a long-time stay.

I first heard about Knotty Pine RV Resort on social media-someone had posted about the beautiful…read morescenery and the plethora of activities to do, but what hooked me were the pictures of the tiny house (cottage) available to rent. I'm a sucker for tiny houses, in fact I dream to live in one someday, so I was looking forward to my stay here. We do a decent amount of "camping" in our trailer, but this weekend, it was the tiny house that called to me. I was absolutely shocked that I was able to reserve it last minute for Friday through Sunday. We arrived after the registration office was closed, but found our information in a box by the front door. The cottage was far better than the pictures on the resort's website-it has a main bedroom with a queen bed and four single beds up in the loft. There's also a small couch in the living area. You could fit six people in here easily. Note that the loft is only about five feet tall, so most people won't be able to stand upright. But it's a kid's paradise! The kitchen is stocked with basic dishes and utensils plus full oven, stove and refrigerator. The bathroom has simple shampoo/conditioner/soap. The quality is pretty low, so if you want nicer stuff, bring your own from home. There is a TV in the living area, but not in the bedroom or loft. There is a picnic table and fire pit outside, so you can get a taste of the camping experience while still enjoying the luxury of a "home." The campground itself is very pretty-lots of beautiful trees and a tranquil river that runs nearby. There is a clubhouse with pool table, arcade game and several seating areas to socialize. They have activities occasionally, mostly geared toward the littles. The layout of the campground is slightly disjointed, and the further toward the back you go, the less it's maintained. There were some spots that appeared to be storage areas rather than camping spots, but they were dispersed between the others. Since we did not pull our RV, I can't talk to how hard it was to navigate, but there are back-in as well as pull-through spots available. The pool and hot tub were always hopping-people seemed to enjoy those. They advertise having wi-fi, but it's terrible. Some people may not care about that, since you're going camping in the mountains. But if you're online reading reviews, I reckon you might want at least a little internet connectivity. It's there, but it's pretty slow. And the cellular data (I have T-Mobile) is nonexistent. It's a beautiful place, and once I get over my with drawl from being online, I'll find myself extremely relaxed and one with nature.

Had an amazing weekend. Staff was so incredibly friendly and helpful.. Pool was a definite plus…read more. Will Definitely be going Back.
