A shop out of Springfield IL was recommended to us. That company turned our burgundy sofas purple! (Barney the dinosaur purple - and I'm not exaggerating.) That company would not make it right! They wanted MORE money to complete the job they were hired to do in the first place. OUR EXPERIENCE We turned to SHOE BIZ, and wow what a difference! Shoe Biz was nice, professional, friendly, thorough, did VERY HIGH QUALITY work and was willing to stand behind their work!! When they saw the state of our sofas they assured me they could fix them - and they did! Our sofas haven't looked like this in YEARS - they look brand new!! - NO KIDDING! We will ALWAYS to go SHOE BIZ in the future!!!! If I could give them more than 5 stars I would!!! Meghan is extremely nasty and Ill hearted to her employees, everything is under the table so nothing's taxed , so if you're thinking about working for this company be ready to work for free because Meghan picks and chooses who she wants to pay. I myself have still not been paid my full check for an entire week. I worked nor for my last two days on my final pay period. Initially I started to brush this entire situation under the rug, but today drew the line for me. Here's a text my former coworker sent me today regarding her pay (or lack thereof) as well as a fairly unprofessional message Meghan sent to the employee group chat while I was still in employment.
