The seamstress was very curt and rude upon entry on the establishment. When she did come from around the back of the store, she abruptly snatched my daughter's dress out of my hand, took my request and gave me my yellow sip for pick up. End of discussion. The big problem came when it was time to grab the prom dress. Now in fairness, I was 8 minutes late to the location, since running around for this special event. However, I did call but when I received no answer, I figured that she was just busy. To my small heart attack, the establishment was closed. I was devasted to say the least! I would've really liked a phone call to say "Hey, I'm leaving soon", or "Are you still picking up the dress", something or anything for that matter. Especially seeing that it was a special event. I honestly, would've appreciated a little customer service moment, that would've made all the difference with being a first time customer. I will say that after I called my friend for help, she got in contact with the owner (I presume) and managed to get her to come back and open the shop so I can get my daughter's prom dress. Thank Goodness for good friends, right?!! I'm not sure if I would return or not but I'm definitely not using the place for urgent needs or special requests. Good customer service is really about those tiny steps to make every customer feel like they're appreciated for choosing your business, and I hope no one else has to go through this experience.

It would have been $200 to replace the pants so $30 dollars total didn't seem bad at all. I did not care about her attitude or demeanor as I read about in older reviews. The surliness lead me to believe they could back it up with skill and efficiency. The return on the work only took a week. However every repair has failed. I will not return. I don't care if the owner reads this and doubt they even care.

The following Monday, the day before I was supposed to pick it up, she called to tell me "she couldn't do it, take it somewhere else." Very poor pathetic customer service. Very frustrating for her to have my dress for 5 days to have done nothing to it to then tell me she can't anymore. And now I'm a week behind finding a different alteration place to do my wedding dress.
