Made an appointment for my spouse and I. Receptionist said the appointments can be for the same time and they'd just see both of us together. I had a work emergency at last minute and was unable to go to the appointment. Spouse made it to the appointment and informed them I wouldn't be there. Despite someone being at the appointment (one appointment that was booked for 2 people) I was still forced to pay $100 because I wasn't at the appointment. They still got their business from my spouse but still felt the need to shake me down for another $100. Cheap business practices and rude staff. Now they've lost 2 patients because we will not be going back. Go somewhere else if you can. read more

Going to Dr Rubinstein's was great, he knows his lasers and has personally tried them all. His office has a comfortable vibe with many rooms and an upstairs mainly for lasers. My husband and I decided to do the Total FX C02 laser, which gives you the deepest collagen rejuvenation. I've priced other places and their priced was very reasonable compared to other docs in Beverly Hills. Eric the laser tech guru was great, after and hour of numbing and a couple chill pills (don't drive home fellas) my session began. It really didn't hurt too bad (I've had Morphias micro needling and it hurt less than that) until he got to my eyelids. (yes he does your eyelids) I opted to get my neck done as well which was an extra $900. After about 50 minutes I was done. The recovery for me was 6 days, my husband took longer 9 days. Everyone is different but they say after about 7 days you're peeled and somewhat presentable. The time home wasn't too bad. No sun for the recovery and sunscreen afterwards. It's been a month and my skin looks great. I'm really glad I got my neck done too, it did take a little longer to heal which Eric told me before he did it. I highly recommend Dr Rubinstein and Eric my next appointment is wednesday and I'm looking forward to having some after pictures taken. read more

I came to this office for 10 years for dermatology needs. They are one of the few places who could accurately handle my cystic acne. They helped with a variety of other issues which sprung up and I never had an issue getting an appointment. Dr. Kramer And Dr Rubinstein were both very friendly. The new team working in the front desk staff needs a little bit of work, their apathetic attitude and inability to clearly answer billing questions is problematic, at best. I was just told one thing over the phone only to go to their location and be told the opposite. If they had just apologized for the miscommunication, all good - but the attitude I received in response has me looking for another doctor. read more

I have been getting filler for about seven years now. I've used multiple facilities and multiple people to do them. Heidi typically does my laser, so this time I booked her for lip filler and Botox. Ohmigosh! She is the absolute best. I have lupus and usually bruise and often times have a terrible reaction to lip filler. I had zero bruising, zero pain, zero swelling and inflammation. To be quite honest, I am in shock at how absolutely amazing she is at Injections. I'm in the process of making an out-of-state move, and I will be back for treatments from Heidi, she is that phenomenal. Loved this office! I had been looking for a good derm for the longest time! A friend of mine recommended this office and so I scheduled an appointment. It is super easy to find (right behind CVS) and has its own parking. The office is very clean and everyone is extremely nice! I got there early and was admitted fairly quickly. I saw Dr. Hybashy, who was incredible. She and Gloria were incredibly kind and knowledgeable. Dr. Hybashy did a mole analysis and removal for me, which was very easy and quick. I really like this place. I went years ago and they treated me for a basal cell carcinoma, Eric Lavoto is fantastic. I stopped going because I had Kaiser for 8years, I left Kaiser because I wasn't happy with my fair skin and not being seen by a dermatologist, no matter how many times I asked - my doctor said I didn't need a specialist. I went back to a PPO and called and booked an appointment with Studio City office, I have been seeing Eric again and he listens and has improved my skin look with his suggestions. I feel confident with his exams that cancer will be detected, which is by far my biggest relief. I am not worried now and much happier and that is amazing! read more

I'm not sure where to begin. This place is a complete wreck. First and foremost, the staff is terrible. It makes no difference whether you call or reach out. The employees are unbothered. The pricing is completely absurd and a farce. However, if I saw the outcomes, I wouldn't mind paying the price. Customer service is atrocious, pricing is fictitious, and there are no results. They're only in it for the money, basically a SCAM. read more

After over a year and a half of having injections under my eyes by Dr. Rubinstein, the puffiness & the lump did not go away. I consulted with a plastic surgeon specializing in upper & lower eye lids. He suggested that I choose the conservative way which is do not do anymore injections under my under eyes. Eventually the puffiness and liquid injected will dissolve (some day). The other awful thing is that no one apologized to me, no one refunded my money no one called to check on me. The nurse admitted to me that it happens to many patients and that it happened to her too w/ her lips injections... I would not suggest this doctor to anyone for fillers. in my opinion a talented doctor knows that the under eye area is extremely sensitive and requires extra skills. I should have re searched better and go to a eye plastic surgeon that specialize in eyes area only. I look ugly and feel ugly hopefully some day it will disappear. People do a big re search on who you use to work on your face. read more

I remind her that she already said the price is $350. Her answer word by word. The consultation will be $200 and for laser it's extra fee. I asked why did you assume I need laser without even having any medical degree or seeing my skin condition?? She said you wanted to do v beam laser. I asked her why she is confusing the conversations? I asked her can I use the consultation fee towards the procedure I am going to be advised to do for acnes. She said , presenting you word by word " you have to pay $220 for that and extra for laser ... God help her to be better ‍ I asked her if i can speak to someone else. She was smirking and placed me on brief hold. I called again after 20 min waiting to cancel my appointment because of her. But seems like she doesn't feel ok. Please let her go. She is not professional and ruining your business . I have to call again tomorrow to cancel my appointment. Received call same day from a different receptionist. She explained me that $350 is full face , $450 is full face and neck. Simple and easy! Also there is a different consultations, medical $220, and cosmetic $200. However, the receptionist for the office is an absolute snooty, rude, horrendous person who does not return voicemails, and does not give high quality service. I am a 54 year old woman and started seeing Dr. Rubinstein back in 2005. Just been seeing him again because I moved out of California the last few years and knew when I got back had to look him up and see if he could salvage my 54 year old face before going to a face-lift that is way out of my budget at least for another 2p years. Well, the Doctor used Botox and Voluma along my jawline and a little filler in the lips and I am very pleased. Just happened 4 days ago and even though I am still a little swollen I have been getting compliments on how I look. I had a neighbor tell me today that I looked really good so I told her I had some minor touch ups and she was shocked that it wasn't overdone like some fillers in the face and that pillowy look. +5 years !! +21 treatments !! Thousands of dollars spent... RESULT: Still left with about 20% of my tattoo showing on my upper arm. BONUS: Rita Rubinstein who randomly comes out of the woodwork to let me know I should still pay for a visit of more than a year ago. Quite audacious knowing that I've already paid more than DOUBLE of what they initially quoted me HALF A DECADE AGO in 2017 (!!!) During the first years of my Picosure tattoo removal treatment, I actually recommended several people to go there. Eric Lovato has been nothing short but wonderful. That said, the negative reviews about the front desk management and Rita are unfortunately entirely true. This place has been gradually getting worse, and worse, and worse. Just the fact that they come and ask me for a few hundred dollars, 1 year after the fact, speaks volumes on how this place is run. I hope Eric finds a different, better, home for his skills. As of now, I've tried to find another dermatologist to help me finalize my removal but for most places I'm too far into my treatment to take me on as a new patient. So here I am, stuck. He is an expert in his field, a gifted md, so knowledgeable and passionate about his craft. It's refreshing. This review is about PA Simona and the review is a little overdue. I went in right before Thanksgiving for a Melanage peel. I was a bit nervous to go in during covid and also because the peel isn't cheap. The office is super clean upon arrival and every patient is asked to go wash their hands before signing in. I was the only patient in the waiting area and all staff wear masks and proper protective equipment. I was scanned for my temperature and taken back to the exam room. Simona came in explained every step of the process to me and what the after care would be like. She applied aquaphore to areas of my face that needed to be avoided and than applied two different peels. My face looked super yellow and she explained I had to wash it off 8 hours later. She explained that my face would peel for about a week. I'm now almost two months post and I'm super thrilled with how smooth and radiant my skin looks. My skin started looking great 1.5 weeks later. Although this peel has some down time, I honestly cannot wait to do it again! So worth the money! read more

Pretty upset with my service here. When I came into the office, dr Rubinstein came into my room and was out in about a minute. He didn't really examine my concerns on my body thoroughly- He just quickly looked and said oh yeah this Is so and so and prescribed me medication that didn't work. Weeks went by and I wasn't noticing any results in the issues I had come to the office with. I called and expressed my concerns, the receptionist offered me to come and see another doctor, yet I would have to pay another co pay. I get it, but also I wasn't properly treated for what I came in for the first time, so I asked her to see if there was any chance that they could wave that one time and allow me to be seen by a different doctor. She said she needed to speak to her office manager and would call me back. No call back ... I called back a few times and the line would just say it was not in service. I've always had positive experience with this place. The three stars are for the point cards that don't work and the front desk ladies upstairs are not very friendly. Once you get to the doctors/assistants they are very helpful and welcoming and I've always had positive results. One thing that isn't legit here are the "point cards" I have 3 generations of this card and the machine never seems to be functional to use points or add them. This machine has not been functioning for the last 10 years for me. So now I'm stuck with this imaginary point cards that supposedly have money on them and are supposedly for adding points with each visit. However I am just stuck with these cards and no added points or used points credited for the past 10 years. Seems silly to have a points program that never works. I hate being held hostage by those silly cards. Maybe time to get rid of the fake points altogether or to fix your machine read more

I can't thank Dr. Habashy enough for transforming my skin! I was having a severe outbreak of rosacea and had some concerns with some suspicious moles that she treated. She is such a wonderful human besides being an incredible doctor and I feel so lucky I stumbled upon this office!
