Not sure about everyone else, but I was very pleased with the food! Mind you, I did Doordash so I cannot comment on the ambiance of the resturant or how they are inregards to their serving capacities. However, I ordered the Pelmeni Dumplings - Found them to be decent, I have had better in Washington DC but this serving was much more approriate in terms of filling Adjarian Khachapuri - I love this, I don't know who in the world said let's make this bread with a ton of cheese and an egg. Chashushuli - nothing special, they are mashed potatoes, hard to mess up and these were just fine. Chebureki (1 pc) - I loved this Chicken "Chkmeruli" Homemade Potatoes - It had a great flavor that I would expect from my Georgian colleague, he would approve! The food was quite hearty and flavourful, and overall okay. However, some of the dishes were extremely salty. The venue is a bit rundown, with the menus also falling apart. Some of the reviews say that the venue is elegant and cozy, but I can attest that it is definitely not. There was a bit of unpleasantness when we asked for extra bowls to share some of the soup. This simple request was turned down, despite that we were the only customers that evening. The reason was that they would not be in a position to offer us any extra bowls/spoons, unless each bowl was an order of soup. I understand the reasoning to maximize profits, but the fact that flexible customer service could not be provided to your only customers does baffle me. Let me also point out that we only ordered three bowls of soup to share, because we weren't sure we would like the soup, especially since it was our first time venturing into Georgian cuisine. In the end, we didn't order a lot of food because the portions were quite big and we didn't want to waste any food, especially since we had a lot of kids and seniors in our group. If the restaurant owner would like to specify a minimum charge per head, we would be happy to comply, but they were not happy with our consumption volumes. We were quite excited to try authentic Georgian cuisine, but were left a bit disappointed by the poor customer service. For those wishing to venture out and try a new type of cuisine, I would suggest going to a more accommodating restaurant, especially if you have children and seniors. read more

An awful experience that just left a sour taste for us. We came here to celebrate our friend's birthday, so we booked a table for 30 people, which was nice. The service was very sloppy, they would take away your plates without asking permission or without asking if you were done (wasted two big spoonfuls of Caviar)... The person that was running the entertainment was really rude and didn't pay attention to detail. He wouldn't get off stage for a mere three minutes for us to show slides and would block half the screen so you couldn't see... And for some odd reason, he had the idea that it was a wedding celebration, not a birthday party, no matter how many times we tried to correct him. The food was subpar, apperently worse than it was during lunch time. Never coming here again. read more

The food here is amazing and homey! The server was super nice and accommodating. We arrived pretty much an hour after open time, it wasn't very busy. Great food for lunch - also large portions, so dot hesitate to get one meal and one entree to share with another person. :) read more

This was my first visit to the Georgia restaurant. I met a friend there who recommended the cuisine and ate their often. I am familiar with many of the foods that are available in that area of the world, but I had never had food from Georgia. Georgia is a country that used to be part of the USSR. The food was very different in the spicing that I was used to. The serving were a very large size, and I struggled to get through all of the food. The food was tasty, and they were able to suggest several foods that I could eat that were gluten free. I had a lamb stew loaded with lamb,and vegetables and rice. I also had a platter that came with some sausages that was quite nice as well. The service was quick, and the place was clean. It is very suitable for parties and banquets. I would recommend this restaurant if you like this type of food. read more

Went here for a lunch on Sunday afternoon. Ordered the khinkali, khachapuri with egg on top, veal stew and kharcho soup. The food was awesome - especially the khinkali & khachapuri with egg on top. I followed the Yelp reviews and went here last night and boy was I not disappointed. I only wish I had taken pictures. We had the Olivier Salad, Adjarian Khachapuri, Kharcho soup and Lula Kebab with Kasha Buckwheat as a side. This proved to be almost too much food (too much if I'm being honest) and you might do well to eliminate one of the sides or the main. Anyway, everything was delicious and between the two of us came to under $50 with a 20% tip. read more

Been there today. Very awful place. Another post-USSR banquet hall in the middle of industrial/commercial area on Finch. Interior is usual for this kind of place, nothing new. Small soviet city style in the end of 1980s. We ordered a bit of everything. Meat was somewhat okay, 3+. The rest of the food tasted like it was cooked over 24 hrs ago and was warmed up in a microwave. I personally had strong hopes for Adjarsky Harchapuri (National Georgian dish). Did not happen. It was awful.Fat piece of bread with cheese and overcooked egg. Shame. It is a shame that even new so called "Russian" restaurants can't get their game up to par. Tea served in metal pitcher, "very classy". Loved the waitress in Adidas sweat suite, very 1980s of her, lol:-) We tipped 20% on our bill, did not finish the food and left, after being reminded that the place is closing in 10 minutes and we need to wrap it up. None of us would ever come back there, nor recommend it to any of our friends. read more

After my feeble and genetically inferior friend was plummeting into another one of his hypoglycemic hysterics, we made an emergency food stop at Georgia's. In case the hypoglycemia didn't entice us enough, the $7.99 Lunch Special was magnetic enough to lure us into this magnificent establishment with its high walls, a handsomely decorated main entrance with thick gold drapes dangling along only to open up to a red and gold interior room which reminded me of a Middle Eastern wedding gala I attended during the second Gulf War. My feeble friend is now forever indebted to our stunning hostess for she noticed his white complexion and dizzied gaze and sat us immediately. A drunken customer began shouting at the hostess, and not understanding Russian, we were able to gather that he was a douche canoe of a dickbag. As a result of that turd basket, service was slow, but we rationalised the conflict as our afternoon entertainment. We got the eggplant appetizer and the lunch special which was borsch and an amazing chicken rague type dish. I highly recommend Georgia Restaurant. Their white cloth table service restaurant was nothing short of being invited to a wedding party where you know no one but still feel like you belong, they also have a dance floor. Our entire meal which included fresh bread and beverages was under $25. The place unfortunately lacks fountains surrounded by doves. read more

We had a family event here recently. It was not the first time there. Not by my choice. We found the food quality has been steadily declining over time. As I am writing this I am still having signs of slight food poisoning (I'm guessing from the vegetable salad with mayo). And it was very expensive too considering the overall food quality. Khachapuri was too greasy this time around, my hubby (who's from Georgia the country) makes better ones at home. Kofta was too greasy too and just didn't taste right, I couldn't pin point what was not quite ok with it. Shashlik wasn't tasty, the meat quality was low. Tabaka chicken was too dry and too salty. I took a bite and couldn't finish it. We didn't appreciate the diluted Canada Dry. On previous occasions I remember the adjabsandal was pretty good, but I have to say it's very hard to ruin this dish since it's so simple. Baje (chicken in walnut sauce) was just ok, nothing spectacular. We didn't appreciate loud "live" music. It just is not romantic when people sing along with music playing from the laptop. The service was actually nice, timely and polite, helpful. Can't complain about that. The table wear is also very nice, pretty plates, decent cutlery, good linens. read more

Been to Georgia, love Georgian food. Have eaten at Aragvi. Have to say this is better. Has the hot Lobio (as opposed to cold salad lobio). Real Sulguni cheese in the khatchapuri Adjara. Lula was fantastic, chakapuli was quite good, a little light on plums. Actually had Kidzmarauli! All in all, quite reasonably priced. Three people, stuffed, with a bottle of Georgian wine just over $100! Decor somewhat cheezy, loud one man band started up late in the evening which made talking difficult.
