The place is fairly clean and well maintained. There is a small cafe with a small seating area They say no outside food and drinks, but it looks like a lot of families packed their own snacks. Free parking in plaza lot. Free wifi. I like the bunch of leftover birthday balloons by the front desk that are free for the kiddos as they leave. Makes going home a little easier.

Since it was advertised as a class, I imagined there would be activities or enough supervision to satisfy a child for one hour. NOOOOOOO... they basically gave us one piece of paper and paint, then go ahead, do your thing kid. No instructions, no activities, no prompts. For extra paper or canvas you have to pay extra. That didn't make sense to me. If you were to advertise it as a one hour class, then it's a one hour class. Enough activities to fill up an hour. If it is an art session for one painting, then it's a session with supplies included for ONE painting. That wasn't the worst thing though. We came back earlier than the one hour mark to check up on my girl. We found her wandering around the foyer area with absolutely no supervision. It was a completely open area from the back to the front so any child can just wander off, or worse, any person can walk in and just grab a child. Their staff should have done something to keep her inside. Scrap paper, crayons, play dough, ANYTHING. And for that matter, even if they couldn't handle her, ISN'T THAT WHY WE LEFT THEM TWO CELL PHONE NUMBERS?!?!! When we picked her up, no one noticed, no one acknowledged us. If I were a kidnapper, Kidoodles is the place to go. That was completely unacceptable and the staff were completely irresponsible. NEVER again.

We brought our own cake which they provide lighter and knife for and even offered to cut and serve for us. And the kids had a blast in the playground area. All for a reasonable price. Even though there were lots of machines, I thought the selection was on the small side. I went back to read other Yelp reviews and some of them state that the staff gave them additional coins if they weren't winning anything. Thankfully, we didn't have to go that route, as we did come out with two stuffies. This is really different from one of our local places where it is $1 per play and for $30, we're getting 5+ toys. It was a late afternoon on a weekday and we were the only customers there for most of the visit. The one woman working the counter was nice and helped reposition some prizes. One of the toys we got was a Totoro that was very soft - quality seems good. I think you can have fun here, but I'd recommend walking the floor first to make sure you have the right expectations.

We just had our 4 year old daughter's birthday there and it was hands down the best kid's party we've ever been to. They sincerely make it so easy for the parents with setting up all the decorations and taking all the kids through awesome games, dances and activities. It is located in a plaza and the appearance on the outside was very unexpected. Upon entering the space is quite large and there isn't smell (which is a plus as these kinda of places can tend at times..) there only appeared to be an older couple working. It's $7/adult + $9.99 for a child between 12-24 months. There are cubicles to stick your shoes (as they are not allowed inside) and socks are required. We were allowed to push our stroller within the table area (which is to the right side of the play space. There is essentially a large structure that combines a ball pit with various slides. They also have large foam structures within the ball pit for kiddos to play with. The other larger structure has a ground level sensory area (which we didn't explore), dress up area, a car track, and then an upper area where we spent most of our time (photos included) which include various children kitchen/house toys, smaller toddler toys, a grocery area.. everything is mismatched and jumbled together - a lot of the toys missing components, batteries run out, broken, etc.. there are signs that say it is picked up every "20 mins" as in my photos but that was definitely not the case. We visited for an hour and it wasn't once picked up. There is also a merry go round that we manually pushed but I do think it does work electrically - we just didn't ask. I can see it being an okay option for younger kids to come when the weather doesn't permit outside. We wouldn't come out of our way to visit again but appreciated the concept.

Stuck around as my youngest was attending a birthday party this afternoon from 1-3:30…read more Cloris was my favourite staffer and go-to gal for things like an extra bin for overflow birthday presents, cups for water (and she brought me a stack which I appreciated as forward-thinking because I could leave them for the other parents in our group too), and she was extra patient with my kid when he was choosing a prize with his tickets. For the most part, I really like the systems here that made the party run fairly smoothly. Our party host staffer (didn't catch her name but she had the coolest purple shoes) was super helpful in distributing food, assisting with cake cutting, refilling pitchers, quickly cleaning up after spills and proactively dealing with cupcake leftovers being put in the fridge. Three things I'd maybe suggest could run differently: 1) have coloured wristbands assigned to party rooms so that you can tell instantly who belongs to your party group. Like at one point, we had a random little girl asking for tokens from our party host, and then a little boy just sat himself down at our party table eating food and blending in until our host mom said, "Who is this kid??" And then a minute later his mom found him! The parents thought it was hilarious. The staff also have neon shirts so maybe you can match party host to wristband colours. If this system already exists, I didn't notice and only thought of it now. 2) For bumper car passes and tokens, it would be good if birthday party kids got an allotment with their socks at the start when you sign in at the front desk. The less that parent hosts have to worry about, the better. The thing where each kid signs in and chooses hot dog or pizza is fantastic. Our host mom thought she'd have to take care of that and was relieved not to. 3) For saying goodbye and around retrieving their shoes, that could be the time and location that party hosts can give out their goodie bags. It's just a little awkward that there's no specific place to do that. I appreciated not having to sign a waiver but that's probably not the greatest for the establishment's purposes. I also appreciated not having to pay entry fee as an adult even though I was prepared to pay. But then again, encouraging parents to stay without charging them means they're okay with waiting around for their kid, being around to supervise as opposed to dropping off and leaving, and like one parent I saw, will buy food. Overall, the place seemed clean and with good air flow. The play area is large and there was a garage door open so I felt safe enough not to have to wear a mask which I really liked. The party rooms are large with high ceilings. I usually wear a mask in the classroom because of a low ceiling. It was about half full and there was lots of space for parents to gather at tables and hang out to wait for their kids. I don't know that I'd be back on my own because my oldest might feel too old for the climbing part, but the youngest had a wonderful time.

She even shipped my pieces to me as I'm not from the area. They arrived sooner than expected. She estimated a few weeks. I had them within a week. The items arrived damaged-free and more pretty than I expected (I'm far from an artist), so I am very happy with the outcome and afternoon spent at Bella Ceramica.
