Creative had previously done our bathroom vanity. We were able to work with Greg on the redesign of…read moreour kitchen which was a total rehab. A good selection of cabinetry and countertop materials for what we needed. One of the advantages of working with this company is they provide an all in price which includes design, fabrication, demolition, electric and plumbing work, drywall, installations of cabinets and all appliances as well as paint. They coordinate everything. Agreed on a schedule and they kept it. No issues with "extra" work coming up during construction either. They are very interested in customer satisfaction. There were some crossed signals on communication but we were flexible so no big deal. Recommend them for kitchen bath work large or small.

TL;DR - Just don't do it. Especially if you are having them install countertops. The lack of…read morecommunication is infuriating during a process that many aren't familiar with. They don't answer (phone calls, texts, emails - you can't leave a VM for either Howard or Jose) and I had 2 no-shows during this arduous process. Well you have called me 2xs and texted me 2xs asking for my review...here you go. I went to the showroom to look and discuss countertops on February 18th, met Howard gave him my measurements of my kitchen, told them we wanted a waterfall. Not once did he mention my island was too large and told me we would need 2 slabs. He did mention my upper cabinets were high, but that during template they would double check (I told him, yeah the design has our upper cabinets higher than standard due to having vaulted ceilings in our home). He recommend I check out Nash Stone (loved them and their selection. Gabby was super responsive, Nash has great customer service!) I picked out 3 stones and by February 25th (a week later) emailed Howard with pictures and asked for price quotes...AND AGAIN GAVE ALL MY MEASUREMENTS + plus the measurements for A WATERFALL. Still did not mention my island is too large. Had to stay on top of him into March but did get a price quote to which I was told I needed to send in the check to hold the stone. When I sent the check in March, Howard just ghosts all calls or texts until early April. By then the stone I wanted was gone, so I had to run back to Nash and picked out a new stone on April 1st. He wakes up April 5th and tells me April 10th they will come to template. They never show. I was told they forgot my house and finished for the day, cool. So they show up to template on April 11th (take my sink at this time too- we will come back to this) and this is when I am now told my island is way too large. Can't accommodate an a waterfall edge, would need a seam for the stone and they recommend taking out 2 cabinets out of island. I emailed Howard that night, and he never ends up getting back to me. In fact, no one will answer me. Can't leave a voicemail his inbox is full. My husband ends up calling...using a different number and wow would you guess who picks up...Howard. He then pushes us off to work with a different designer, Jose. Real nice and super professional move (*I'm being sarcastic here). Jose does come to our house, and explains that we will need to take out the 2 cabinets. Which honestly is just so frustrating to get to this point and learn this. He also mentions several ways he would have designed our kitchen differently, cool super helpful. My contractor comes back rips out the 2 cabinets (goodbye $1000) they come re-template. Now we are well into the middle of May, we get a call on Sunday 5/21 to set up for install saying it will be Tuesday 5/23 and Wednesday 5/24. MONDAY NIGHT AT 6PM, night before install, Jose is rapidly calling us to tell us, our sink is too large. The sink they have had SINCE APRIL 11TH. He is trying to push us to buy a sink off of them, by some luck my husband finds a new sink in the "correct" size (we wanted a workstation sink) and since they have had this sink since April 11th, I now cannot return the sink (goodbye $614.81). They come and do the backsplash that Tuesday 5/24 and then DO NOT SHOW (no phone call, no text nothing, which I took off of work to be there) on Wednesday. You would think they would of said something that Tuesday that they wouldn't be there, or ask for the new sink? I call 4pm on Wednesday the main phone number asking why no one has come and the woman does not have an answer but tells me they need the new sink delivered by 5pm to either Selden or East Northport location. The lack of communication, professionalism, and customer service is a COMPLETE JOKE with this company. I guess if you are not having a full kitchen design you are not a worthy of their time. Thank you for adding an additional 3 months + wasting $1,600 to my renovation that did not need to be. I will not be recommending this company, ever.

Did a search for kitchen remodeling and found Galant…read more I was feeling a little awkward visiting a business that does complete kitchen remodeling when all I needed was a new countertop. However, I got a good feeling as soon as I entered and was greeted by Rich, the owner. I explained that I just wanted a quartz countertop and my backsplash replaced. I didn't mention anything about a budget, and I was pleased that he didn't try to steer me to the more expensive products and then try to work down from there. We set up an appointment for him to take rough measurements to get a cost estimate, which was less than I expected based on another estimate I received in which the first thing the salesperson did was try to upsell me. I decided to go ahead with the project. A few days later, the final measurements were taken. We set up an appointment for and had the old countertop and backsplash removed. His crew was on time and did a good removal job and cleanup. Rich told me that I would get the new countertop and the backsplash would be installed within 10 days. Seven days later they were installed, very professionally and clean. One concern I had was that there had to be a seam because of the size of the countertop and I thought it would be visible. To my surprise, the seam was undetectable. They did the plumbing work and everything worked perfectly. I would highly recommend that Galant be considered when doing a kitchen remodel.

This Review is long overdue, I apologize…read more Roma Marble & Granite and the staff there, especially Lisa G. are all truly amazing. From start to finish, they literally were the best experience out of all the contractors I used during my kitchen renovation project. I stopped into Roma just because I was in the area. ( I live out east on L.I. And my son lives in Bohemia). I did a google search because I figured there had to be a granite store somewhere close. ( I was doing renovation using Lowe's which I had no complaints, you just can't pick out the actual stone to be used) The reason I was looking was to see what other options I had in tends of counter tops and because I really wanted to choose and pick the exact stone that would be used and how it will be cut. With Lowe's, you only see the sample in the store and hope for the best. I walked into Roma and that's when I met Lisa. She was so welcoming and helpful with my questions. I felt really comfortable with them. We walked the lot looking at remnants and then the full slabs, and I found exactly what I wanted. From measuring to install, everything was extremely smooth and stress free. And the pricing I felt was great as well! I was even able to go into the shop, look at my 2 slabs and then with Lisa, we taped out exactly where I wanted the stone to be cut and used for each section. This was very exciting!! Installation day was awesome as the crew came, they needed 4 guys to get my beautiful 60x108" island top into the house, lifted and placed. They were amazing! Also, we had found this beautiful piece at another store (f & d) that we wanted to use behind the oven as an accent. She gave me an amazing price to pick up the stove, cut it and get it installed! From start to finish, everything went perfectly! I highly recommend Lisa G. and Roma Granite & Marble! Check out my pics!

It is so quiet one might not realize that work is done there. I sure didn't hear anything). Keep in mind that Cambria Buckingham quartz is NOT a seamless product. You will have a seam but it is very thin. If you weren't aware of it then you probably wouldn't even notice! Cambria has an iPhone app so you can see the different products and project ideas. In addition to quartz, GT Marble sells other material as well such as granite and obviously marble. I was only considering granite or quartz. My husband and I went with quartz because it suits our needs better. You can get your sink, sink protector, faucet, soap dispenser, and tiles there too. My back splash tiles are by MSI International and are honed Travertine in Durango Cream. The listello (also by MSI International) is tumbled Travertine and called Noce Listello. MSI International has brochures you can read in iBooks. I think you might have to go to their website first but I could be wrong. It's been a while. When the family put in the countertop, they were quick, and careful. They made sure everything was done neatly every step of the way. Giuseppe (I hope I spelled his name correctly and I apologize if I didn't) is the owner and is an utmost professional and seemed like a perfectionist. He is someone I would definitely want to work with again. This is a family business and his sons are just as polite and hardworking as he is. These people seem to put a lot of pride into their work and don't seem to cut corners. They also work very quickly.

While we had no issues during the process, shortly after the floor was sinking in multiple places. The contractor returned and placed a saddle in one area. Saddles were included in my contract (two separate contracts one for materials and one for labor), so we had paid for both even though they initially didn't use saddles. There was no refund given for the unused materials and work that was never done. They returned again to "lift" the kitchen subfloor. At this point they had to remove the new LVP, so they used our warranty to replace the flooring. The floor continues to sink in multiple areas. They suggested placing multiple saddles throughout my floor. They claimed the floor manufacturer said I needed them, so I don't know why I wasn't told or why it wasn't done during the initial installation. I asked when they open the floor and see the subfloor is unlevel would they do the honorable thing and return my money to me so I can have my floor repaired. I was told the subfloor is level and we are no longer discussing it. They hold no accountability. On top of all of this, they have photos of my home including personal information of where we live, personal details of our family and refuse to take it down. What customer ever wants this!? They have now blocked me on social media, and fail to communicate responsibly. All I would like is the money returned to me for the flooring that is now garbage because they have to take it apart to level underneath, the money paid to do the work that wasn't done correctly, reimbursement for what was paid out but never used. This is a major inconvenience to have to go through construction again. This has been dragged out too long, own up to your mistakes and Do the right thing. be warned and stay far away from this company.
