This time of year there were so many birds! Huge wild roses and hanging willows make this a lovely crossover between green spaces and manicured lawns and city amenities. I'd like to see more of these kind of community spaces in this city!

My gf took me here because her pass at Goodlife expired and tbh my expectations were low but this place made quite an impression on me. All the gym equipment is in the middle of the room and there is a track that goes around it. It's neat how they managed to incorporate a track like that because now you never have to wait for a treadmill. At the corners of the track, there are spaces to do stretches/mattress exercises. The best part is the huge windows that allow lots of natural light to come in. The one thing I didn't like about the Goodlife in BCC is that it is in a basement and there are zero windows. So it was great to walk into Wellness Centre and be able to absorb that vitamin D while working out. To top it off, they lemon flavoured water that you can choose to drink if you get tired of regular water! Yeah, I really liked this place. The only negative would be that it's still a pretty small gym compared to the Goodlife gym nearby (main competitor). The great set up of the equipment kind of makes up for the smaller space but I find there's a bit more wait time for the equipment during peak hours than at Goodlife. Overall fantastic gym, I was impressed.

This community centre has about four tennis courts, lots of benches, a playground and a very small…read moreforest trail area outside. The centre also has a rather small library, a swimming pool and a gym inside the building. There is a customer service desk. It was my first time visiting this community centre; and lucky me they had free coffee and tea, and some cookies for visitors. I think tennis courts could be improved as there were puddles in one of the courts. They could also add lights for people who may want to play at night. The library had nice chairs, couches, cubicles and tables. I noticed some public libraries don't carry magazines and newspapers but this one had lots of magazines and newspapers you can pick up and read in comfort. There was free wifi. Overall, the community centre was clean and it seemed like a pretty new building. There are plenty of big parking spaces in front of the building.

Cassie Campbell, or better known as the Wellness Centre's twin…read more The reason I say that is because the layout for both of them is basically identical. However, perhaps because it is newer, Cassie Campbell is a little nicer. What I like about it is the giant glass walls that allow you to see outside. It really makes the place seem bigger and non-claustorphobic. The layout of the gym consists of all the workout equipment in the centre, and a track circling around, with the corners available for stretching exercises. Basically every piece of equipment one could need is here, and then some. The membership fees are reasonable. I bought a month pass which is only $40 if you are a student, otherwise its closer to $50. For a one time pass it's $7 for a student and closer to $10 if you are not a student. There are also a lot of other activities and classes since it's a community centre; however, I can only comment on the gym part since that's all I really used. If you are looking for a place to workout, I recommend at least trying out this gym, you might end up loving it. Warning, depending on which side you come from on Chinguacousy you may have to pull a U-Turn to get inside the parking lot lol. . . but bonus though, if you buy a pass to any Brampton city gym, you gain access to all their gyms.

The Library has some nice comfortable sofa's but also tables with comfy chairs where you can set up your laptop with I believe free Wifi. The south facing wall is all windows and that is also where most of the sofas are situated for reading. They have a beautiful pool with a nice big slide, family change room and the life guards are very nice and friendly. They take good care of the shallow "baby pool" and make sure no rowdy kids go through there. I find they could offer a better pool schedule in terms of keep the baby pool more often open. I haven't used the rest of the facility like the fitness center etc.

The space features a pool, gym, small public library, shared communal party space. I visited the gym so this review is only based on that. It is $10/day entry that does not include swimming. They offer monthly & yearly passes for the recreational & fitness usage. Once inside, you do have to go through the gym to get to the changing rooms. There is a universals change room but also a female only. The change room was large, a handful of large lockers, an accessible private shower available along with several shower stalls. The tap is timed so you have to keep pushing while showering. The gym itself was a bit small, all of the equipment is spaced very closely together. Good selection of machines available, lots of picture instructions all of the wall. The cardio section has a variety of equipment from treadmills, to bicycles to steppers etc. The wall also features tv to keep you entertained. The yoga, hitt room is very large, large ceiling to floor mirrors, lots of colour coordinated weights, ropes and all sort of equipment for you to use. Overall, depending on when you visit, it could be congested but I spent a an hour and half and only had to wait a short time for equipment.

The arena was built in the 1970's and features two identical ice pads (with ice seasonally from September - May). The Ron Searle Rink is named after the 4th mayor of Mississauga and the Warren Marshall rink was named after the 20th president of the Mississauga Hockey League, both back in the 1970's. This arena is home to Lorne Park Hockey Association as well as lots of city-run recreational hockey and skating programs. Each rink has three steps of bleachers on one side opposite players benches, which makes for a cozy cheering section at hockey games. There's also a nice indoor spectator area between the two rinks on the upper deck. Each rink has 8 change rooms, a total of 16, ranging in size from very small to quite roomy. There's a very cute pro shop, a snack bar thats not open too much, as well as vending machines. Solid, reliable community centre…read more Carmen Corbasson Community Centre (formerly Cawthra C.C.) is my preferred destination for board meetings with the tennis club I work with, and I've found it to be a great place to stop by at if you need a drink or information. It's right beside a bus stop, there's plenty of parking and the facilities are always clean and busy with players on local teams and other activities. Well worth a look if you're in the neighborhood.
