I met with Jeff to discuss my urgent needs and his company came up with great refreshing ideas. I was astounded how quickly the transformation took place. His attention to contrast and detail impeccable, along with his hard working professional team. I highly recommend this company for all of your designing needs.

My living room floor was carpeted with a subfloor underneath it. As I was leaving town, I not only…read moreneeded new flooring to replace the very dirty carpet, but also needed it done quickly. My neighborhood facebook page referred Black Swan and I contacted them and received a response very quickly. Jafar came over and took measurements, gave me an estimate right there, and finished it two days later!!! It looks absolutely beautiful!! The workmanship and attention to detail are wonderful. They also cleaned up literally perfectly before they left. And yes, their pricing was very competitive. I would absolutely recommend them and for sure will go to them for any future work that they also do.

We couldn't be happier with Scott's work. He's an amazing craftsman with a great eye for detail…read more When we were getting quotes for our installation - we'd encountered lots of people eager to give us a number and nickel and dime for every decision; Scott didn't rush to throw out a price and had firm principles laid out before even getting us a quote - his pricing was straightforward and never hit us with any surprise expenses. He went above and beyond by reinstalling the trim for us (which wasn't part of the original bid). He was kind and courteous to us and our new home - provided marvelous insight on the options before us and what he thought would look the best for our home. He'll be the first person I think of to recommend to anyone needing new flooring installed - and when we decide to add hardwood flooring to other rooms in our house.

He was on reasonably priced, and allowed us to do the demo of the old carpet and underpayment to lower the labor charges. He was always punctual, and treated our home with care--cleaning up after himself everyday. And the CRAFTSMANSHIP. This guy knows what he is doing. He answered all our questions and was very transparent with his process. We had a firm deadline for project completion, and he beat it by several days! Bought through Costco. Designer Jessica came to our house…read morewith samples to see what would work in the space. She was a great listener and helpful in her suggestions! She even ordered a bigger piece of the one we thought would work and sent it FedEx to our house. We were able to complete the work order documents and payment on our computer. Easy! Our rebate is a digital shopping card for Costco which I did receive after installation but haven't used yet. The installation went smoothly! Great team of 3 guys who were respectful and cleaned up well after. The seam we were worried might show since it is in the middle of the large room isn't visible! So happy!

From the get-go this was a bad experience. The carpet was creased after installation and they…read moreinsisted time would fix it and it would fluff up. Months passed, finally they replaced it. They brought the wrong wooden molding and it did not match. They then came back with the right molding and were inches short. 3rd time they came to do the molding it was finished....but they rehung the closet doors wrong (backwards) in the rails and the doors wouldn't move. Finally came back and rehung them. Stair carpeting was stretched too tight and was fraying at the edges. Came back and reinstalled. New carpet guy said it looked like the original job looked rushed. Designer visited and said the stairs looked overstretched. Left some scuffs on my walls. Total time until the room was done: 6 months. Yes I'm absolutely serious that this Costco sponsored business took 6 months to finish carpeting 1 room and 1 staircase. All I got was an apology from Costco and Shaw carpets. Find someone else for your carpeting. This was expensive and time consuming and endlessly frustrating.

They showed up on time, walked through to make sure I got all my questions answered and then got right to work. Everything turned out great and they finished the whole project in a day! We're several weeks into enjoying our new floors and appreciate the effort they put in to make the floors feel like they were part of the house to begin with. Well worth it and great value in my opinion!

Originally our project was to fully remodel a kitchen and possibly add a soaker tub to a bathroom…read morewith a few possible side projects. But our designer (NOT associated with Titus) dropped the ball and was fired. My time frame was getting smaller so I decided to obtain bids from several companies for the following: Partial kitchen remodel (remove arch wall, add pantry wall with cabinets, install upscale appliances, some new lighting, new gas line for dual fuel stove, remove sliding door to deck and replace with smaller door, install mosaic backsplash, etc...) Due to all of the new electric we also upgraded an electrical panel. New water heater Install water softener Install garage heater 5 new windows Tile laundry room New tub in bathroom (granite countertop was added) Granite countertop in other bathroom (was added) Titus was not the least expensive bid (or the most expensive) but they did give me the best feeling (which I call the warm and fuzzies) that they could and would deliver. Scott Rajavuori was our salesperson / project manager and Greg Clarke was our onsite project foreman. Their cards don't have titles so I am guessing on titles. Scott was great to work with and provided quick and accurate quotes. Greg was awesome to work with and has exceptional skills. He cut a vent hood that goes directly into our angled ceiling so perfectly that we didn't need to have a frame around it. Plus he fixed a few cabinet issues that our designer flubbed. We had a couple of hiccups during the remodel that he handled perfectly. Titus delivered earlier than estimated, even with delays from my wood flooring company that I hired separately. All of their workers were very good and cleaned up at the end of every day. After completion I had a few minor fixes (including a sticking door) and they came right out and fixed them. Strongly recommended - ask for Greg.

Our experience with Titus Contacting started out very well, they presented us with a detailed…read morecalendar with each step from demolition to completion clearly noted with individual deadlines. Work was to begin on July 12 according to the calendar. Progress was great through demo, rough-in, window installation, drywall , paint priming, wood floor installation and several more steps. It was easy to check off progress against the calendar which was consistently updated. Our "final inspection" date on the calendar was Sept. 14 (serious error on our part, we made the final payment in full on Sept 11, should have held something back). Progress slowed noticeably (whether it was a coincidence that full payment had been made is a good question) and the tradespeople seemed to be busy elsewhere. Steady, predictable progress changed to a string of apologies, excuses and no shows throughout the rest of September and into October. We finally had usable closets, bathrooms and living spaces by October 12. Detail work continues as this is written on October 26 with minor items (floor register covers) yet to finish. We enjoyed working with the individuals at Titus, the crews who worked on our home were friendly and very understanding of changes if we asked of them. The quality of the work was very good. The inconvenience and frustration of considerable unexpected time in a work zone wasn't a good experience.

A few townspeople had questions about the building, time frame of when the build would happen and who's doing the building? The BKV rep was well versed in all his information as he discussed the new station and could list off several metro stations the company has built. As someone not impacted by this department move in any form I found his knowledge helpful and appreciated that BKV basically has a portfolio of fire station builds. He also wasn't aggressive w his knowledge; i.e. just throwing random facts out there, unsolicited. He gave the information when towns people inquired, plus he was just among the fire fighters, despite his monogrammed vest, I didn't even know he wasn't one of them until someone asked who was building this and are they going to answer questions? He spoke up. He also had a simple and great explanation for what BKV stood for. Thanks BKV for having a friendly & approachable rep present to represent the services you will be providing.
