Inflexible and Unreasonable Scheduling Clean Crew LLC requires a four‑hour arrival window (12-4pm) and Margie refused to narrow it down, making it nearly impossible to plan around work. There was zero willingness to accommodate a reasonable request. 3. Poor Quality Cleaning and Missed Tasks On 4/8/26, two cleaners arrived at 1pm and were let into my unit by the building's Property Manager. After paying the invoice and inspecting the unit, I discovered multiple areas- listed by Margie herself - that were not completed: Carpet corners still had debris The vent was untouched Outlets were not cleaned Blinds were not cleaned For a move‑out cleaning, these are basic expectations. 4. "24‑Hour Reclean Policy" Used as a Shield When I reported the missed areas, Margie texted that they could return the next morning, citing their "24‑hour reclean policy," and that they would only address the specific items I listed. I explained that I could not take another four‑hour block off work on such short notice. I requested a modest 30% refund instead -she refused. I offered availability after 5pm - she refused again. Only after I stated I would escalate the matter legally did she suddenly agree to send cleaners after 5pm on an agreed upon revisit date of 4/13/26. 5. Unprofessional Behavior From Staff and Supervisor When the cleaners returned, one begrudgingly vacuumed while the other repeatedly pointed at the vent saying "maintenance." I ended up opening the vent and cleaning it myself. They then began gossiping in Spanish and called their supervisor, Carlos, who proceeded to reprimand me over the phone, claiming they "don't clean inside vents"- even though it was on the task list provided by Margie. When I explained that communication was difficult because the workers did not speak English, he accused me of being "racist" and bizarrely asked if I was from Somalia or India. It was one of the most unprofessional, inappropriate, and deflective responses I have ever encountered from a business. 6. A Company That Avoids Accountability Rather than address legitimate customer concerns, Clean Crew LLC' chose to deflect, blame, and hide behind policies they selectively enforce. There were no hidden fees or upcharges, and both were very friendly and accommodating to our schedule. We initially asked them to come out to clean the main floor of our house, but a few days later asked them back to clean the bottom floor as well. The price, I'm told, is based on how dirty things are, to be judged once they are there. I get messaged on Sunday they would not be making it and we reschedule for 10am on Monday. Monday 10am comes around and it's a no-show with no communication. Then I get messaged at 11am that they will arrive at 11:30. When she arrives an hour and a half late - just one person to do all the cleaning - the price jumps to $180 and there is now a $15 per pet surcharge that was never mentioned or asked in the prior conversation. I ask how, if $150 was the upper end for super dirty (which our house is no where close to being), we're at the max end of the scale already. She says that it may just look clean, but it could be really dirty. At this point I politely decline the service at $180 and she politely leaves. My suggestions for a better future customer experience would be: 1) Be upfront with additional fees. If you are going to have surcharges for common things like pet ownership, ask or mention that when giving an estimate. 2) Don't give a wide price range and then put the customer on the spot to pay you even more than the maximum you quoted. 3) Rescheduling on the day-of is frustrating but understandable since there are unforeseeable circumstances. Rescheduling to a new time you yourself proposed, no-showing, and then messaging a new time an hour after you no-showed is unprofessional.
