We have been coming to Dr. Gechoffs office for several years. My son had a severe overbite and needed some major ortho attention at a very early age. Before choosing a provider, we visited 3 different orthodontic offices to compare opinions, treatment plans, and cost. Dr. Gechoff and the staff was pleasant to work with from the beginning! His plan was ultimately the most cost effective and the least invasive for or 7 year old son. (Who had a long road ahead with treatment no matter how we went about it). The appointments have always been reasonable to schedule. And when we have had those pesky wires break, we have not had any issues getting in to get them fixed. After seeing the results of my sons mouth, I ultimately decided to come in for a consult on my lower (overlapping) teeth. I began invisalign for my treatment. I have lost an additional 3 FRONT teeth from root resorption due to 5 years of orthodontia from this office. Although I am an adult complicated case due to a narrow palate and previous loss of multiple teeth with dental implants, there was zero empathy displayed by this office for my root resorption and continued tooth loss because I signed consent for possible risks. Most recently I had the new digital scanning technology to image a tooth that needed a touchup. The tech was visibly frustrated with the difficulty of scanning my teeth because of my gum recession and exclaimed loudly in front of a room of juvenile patients, their parents, and staff as the seats are lined up with no privacy "Ugh It's your teeth!" I was completely humiliated about a health condition that has caused me severe depression and significant anxiety. Staff are insensitive to adult dental conditions. read more

As a mother of four children who will be in braces (pretty much simultaneously), my husband and I were only a little prepared for the sticker shock. Our comprehensive dental covers only about one fifth of the total cost, so we were disappointed, to say the least. However, the staff at Dr. Gechoff's office came up with an easy payment plan that fits our budget perfectly. Also, in comparison to what my braces cost 30 years ago, I'm surprised things don't cost more. Each one of our four kids need some variation of an expander for 3-6 months, twin blocks (one year--and this is in place of head gear), and then braces for a year or so. Treatment has started for my older two, and they are doing great! I love the staff here. They are accommodating in scheduling (in case of emergencies), and very friendly and gentle. Dr. Gechoff has a conservative approach in most areas--no headgear, as compliance isn't great, let teeth fall out naturally rather than pulling, and sticking to a treatment plan that isn't excessively long. You know, I initially was skeptical that this place was legit. The only reason I came here is because, as is often the case with them, my wife's entire family has been here to get their teeth and attitudes straightened out. I came in exclusively looking into Invisalign, and had already gotten a quote from my dentist to install what would become the best deterrent to snacking I could ask for. Dr. Gechoff was a bit more expensive than the quote I had received from another location, and so I had my proof that sticking to something that my wife's family held so dear was yet. Again. Wrong. Except that it wasn't. At least not this time. Dr. Gechoff is a top-tier provider of Invisalign, which meant nothing to me until I got to take a digital look at his plan for my teeth. It was a nice improvement on the presentation (or lack thereof) that my dentist had offered me. Plus the guy is affable, personable, a Steelers fan and a golfer. After trying to barter them down in price, a la swap meet (that's the Whiskey Tango in my heritage poking its head out), we discussed how I would pay for my treatment. I was broke and in immediate need of straightening to avoid ruining my new crown and veneer any further. Dr. Gechoff was pliable and helped me get set up for a payment plan that worked for me - which meant deferring most of the cost into next year so I could take advantage of my flex spend account. My dentist wanted payment up front. So here's the recap: Dr. Gechoff is a cool dude. The kids love him, I love him and I'm sure the rest of the 'murrican people love him. My son​ owes Tori @ Gechoff Orthodontics a Starbucks card and a big hug! She saved him $290 by being able to fix and tweak his retainers which took a trip through the washer AND dryer! My son just completed treatment with Dr. Gechoff and the experience was absolutely wonderful. My daughter is now going through hers. I got several estimates for my daughter and although all of the other estimates were less (mostly pretty close cost), I just didn't get the same service from the others. Never have I been more frustrated. I call to get my son an appointment for his braces. They say this is a 1 hour appointment. They close at 5pm but say they can't start this 1 hour appointment after 1pm. My son gets out of school at 1:45. I tell Jennifer that he will have to do Summer School if he misses more school over an appointment for his braces. They only other day she can find is Matin Luther King Day which changes our family plans for a 3 day weekend. I am not a guy to get angry, but I was so frustrated on how I was treated that I left work and started driving to their office to speak to somebody else and get a better solution that doesn't put my son in Summer school or cancel a family weekend. As I was driving Jennifer called back and found a date a few weeks out. Problem solved but not without bringing me to an anger level I haven't felt in years.
