He and his crew arrive on time, prepared to work, and don't stop until the job is done including clean-up. He is responsive to phone calls and texts. I asked Chuck to replace 2 rotting decks, which including the entire substructures, footings, and supports--1 on the first floor and 1 on the second floor of my home, including needing to support the roof. He went above and beyond by replacing the rotting supports with steel support beams due to height of the span to be covered The cedar planking looks great, especially after he sanded and sealed it--twice! When I mentioned to him that the first coat seemed to not take, he had the team do it again at no extra charge. PCS also performed other, smaller jobs, including basement tuck pointing, repairing windows that weren't closing properly, removing a broken lightbulb from a socket, etc. Although his quote for the deck was higher than some others, his emphasis on ensuring structural stability and quality were more than worth it. He gave me great ideas for the deck, and it looks better than I could have imagined. I'm preparing to sell my house, and as a part of that I have a couple remaining cosmetic jobs that need to be done. I'm definitely calling him first!

His ability to custom build solutions when we ran into the "fun surprises" that come with a 100-year old house allowed us to get through what might have otherwise been major delays - like when we found out your ceiling is 3" off level one corner to the next, or when some of our cabinets kept coming in broken or ordered incorrectly from the designer... (PS - don't get your cabinets from Lowes / Masterbrand...) Overall - I'd definitely recommend Mike to anyone looking for kitchen, bath, or other house jobs - especially if some custom carpentry might be needed. Excellent communication, always showed up each morning, and he was always very respectful of our space while we worked from home some days and in the office some days through the months. We will be calling again next house project we have.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FOR ANYTHING, even the smallest of projects. What should have been a 3-4 month project (at best) still isn't finished. We started this project in the beginning of March, and it's mid-December now. We could have renovated a whole house in this time. It was not a very big project. We gutted a mudroom and old laundry room. We made a new mudroom and then a small storage/pantry room off the kitchen. We re-did a very small powder room off the kitchen. We then took part of an unfinished area in our basement, and made it into a laundry room. We then re-did a bathroom next to the laundry room. First off, his work is not great. He does not know how to paint. And neither do his subs he brought in. My painter is coming after the holidays to re-paint everything!! There were areas of trim work not even painted at all. Also, do not let him or his wallpaper hanger he uses hang wallpaper. I had to have a highly recommended wallpaper hanger come out and look at things. And of course, it's not done right. Our grout on one of our areas of backsplash is done terribly. Same with some grout on the floor by our door out to our garage. I am sure there are other things I am missing. If you ask him, he would deny all this. But we have pictures for proof. Also, he brought out a cabinet maker in the beginning - Brian Perkins to assess our project. And he ended up making all of our cabinetry. Well way back in May, we found out Brian's wife was in very poor health and being out in hospice. We were VERY understanding and patient with the delays. Since May, we have gotten excuse, after excuse, after excuse about his wife and her health as to why things are not getting finished. As a contractor, Dan needed to step in, take the reins, and figure out a plan B for us. Not just keep saying to us "I have never had something like this happen in all my years of doing this" He just kept putting all the blame on Brian. We hired a CONTRACTOR to deal with all the moving parts for us. So, great, this has never happened. When it's September, and we aren't really making any progress time to figure out a different game plan to get things finished. In fact, something should have been figured out way before September! Also, we have been begging Dan to come to an in-person final walkthrough with us for months. He certainly could have come out and done that, and have done all his touch ups that were needed. So, our project isn't finished. Final walkthrough never happened. My husband and I ended up having to hire our painter and another individual to come finish the project. In regards to cabinets, still working with Brian praying he can produce and get the rest of our cabinetry and materials to us. I WOULD NEVER EVER USE this company, EVER!!!!

Thirty seconds of key strokes, and my request was submitted. Within 30 minutes, I received a call from Brian. Shortly after that, he showed up at my home, inspected for free, took photos, and interpreted. I learned there was some limited damage, but not quite enough to warrant an insurance claim at this time. Not more than two hours passed from the time I found contact information until "roof inspection" was checked off my to-do list. I realize not every service provider can drop what they're doing, and respond to me, and that I was lucky circumstances allowed such a quick response. Still, Brian took the time to talk, make the drive, climb the ladder, walk the roof, and tell me what he saw. High marks for responsiveness and communication. Thank you, Top Most Roofing!
