After the big hail storm on February 28th, every house in our town needed a new roof, siding and…read moregutters, we called several construction companies and the only one that was kind enough to call us back was Scurry. He came over, showed us their credentials and listened to our questions and concerns. We weren't in any hurry and knew it would be awhile which was fine. The day finally arrived. They put our roof on and it looked great. Someone did have to go back up and secure a few shingles, but no big deal. Then the siding guys came. They did a great job and even trimmed our bushes so they could get to the house okay. We have two dogs and they were very careful to keep the gate closed which we appreciated. Then the gutter guys came and finished up the house. Everything looks great and they cleaned up the yard. We are very pleased with everything. I want to give a shout out to Cheryl for always keeping us informed and for helping us through the whole process! Thank you Cheryl! I can honestly recommend this company and we couldn't be happier we the work and that it's over! Please no more hail storms! lol

Glenn really helped us with a small repair job that alot of other companies didn't have time for…read more We had storm damage and hired him to do some siding repair work around our front windows and exposed rafters. This custom work required a large siding brake and a good amount of skill. Not only was he able to come out in just a few days, he did the work fast, with high quality and for a good price! On top of that, Glenn was professional and friendly. Would definitely hire again!

He wired my basement wrong to where I didn't have power to half of my property & cut the internet line. I had to pay over $300 to other technicians to restore power & internet. I still have the contract that states he is to complete the job agreed upon. & yet, he still has not responded to my texts, calls or voicemails I have left him. I had to hire a different company to finish the room. They told me he made off with $1400 of the $1600 down payment I paid as he used the wrong materials & had amateur work. I'm a single mother who was paying who I thought was a knowledgeable contractor to complete a single room in my basement for my grandmother. He's untrustworthy & I say stay clear.

Overall, we are satisfied with our master bath remodel done by KML Remodeling, but it took twice as…read morelong as it should have because of incorrect materials delivered and inadequate project management. We had to make concessions on things that were wrongly ordered and there were a few plumbing mistakes which required rework, causing the project to take twice as long as it should have. The carpentry work was exceptional, though, with attention to detail and solid workmanship, resulting in an overall successful project. But, the general supervision and communication from the project manager were dreadful and caused a very stressful experience. As other reviewers have said, messages were rarely responded to and it required me to frequently follow up just to know what was going on with the project, and who and when someone was coming. When the project manager did show up on site, which was rare, he just walked in and went straight to the subcontractor, without barely a hello to us. It's really a shame because a well done job should not be so exhausting and frustrating for the customer. As long as they use the same carpenter, I would recommend them, but I suggest making it very clear at contract signing what you expect and lay out clear rules of engagement and communication expectations. I'm updating my review rating from a 3 to a 4 because the owner, Karen, sincerely listened to our concerns and we feel that she will make the necessary adjustments so that future customers have a more pleasant experience. As previously noted, the workmanship of the main construction components are top notch and had the project manager not made the job so painful, we wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

My "three week" project to install a sink, vanity and new cabinet door turned into a three and a…read morehalf month project! I do not recommend this company. Their lack of communications is unbelievable! Messages are NEVER returned in a timely manner, sometimes never returned! They messed up my walls, which thankfully I had more product so I could fix them. They broke the trim on my door and pushed it together and left it like that, so the wood is cracked! Who does that and just leaves it? The first time they installed the doors, they put them into the door jamb, so you could not open the doors all of the way! It took four days to install a vanity, a vanity top and change two cabinet doors. I have a six car driveway, they parked on the edge of driveway and put ruts in my yard! Save yourself some heartache and frustration and stay away from this company.

There were three days where we waited for him all day only to find out that he wasn't coming at all. A four-day job ended up taking seven days. This was a huge lack of respect for me and my time. He also sanded drywall over three days without remediation--no tarps or barriers. When he was gone, I had to hire a professional cleaner to fix his mess. Mike and his crew do good work if you are willing to put up with his lousy time management skills and his lack of remediation.
