I would avoid this repair shop. They broke my hood latch and didn't say anything to me about it…read more They also have not returned my phone calls asking for an explanation. I went because the lube center gave me a $50 discount for a repair. I knew I needed my AC fixed so I went. They told me the AC wasn't working because the Radiator was leaking. Said my car could blow up if I didn't fix it right now with the added benefit that it would fix the AC. I normally would do stuff like this myself but I just didn't have the energy so I paid them 1000 to get it done. Not only that but I heard them tell several other people who came in for a repair that their car would break down if they didn't fix whatever the problem was today. Shady. Very nice and warm front desk person. But you would be better off going somewhere else. The fact that they broke my hood latch when replacing my radiator and not saying anything speaks volumes about the shop's character. There is no way I am mistaken. I had just looked under the hood the day before which prompted me to come in, my hood-latch was fine. Now I have to use all my force to slam it down in order for it to latch on vs just letting it go. I won't be going back to try to demand them to fix my hood latch because I believe they would just try to bend it back into place instead of buying the $11 part. Did I mention my AC only worked for 30 minutes before going back to blowing hot air?

Simply mind blowing. 6/18/2024 had 4 brake rotors replaced. Why not pads also...I don't know (…read morecould have been MY choice?) but being told should always be replaced together. 3 days later, while driving in Ashburn I noticed breaks still causing car to shake . 3 days after repair. I called and explained concern and fact that the next day I was taking car x country to Arizona. Hence couldn't bring it in. I told them I would bring it back in when car returns after sons school ends. I asked that they make notes to my concerns about the brakes before I left town so file is documented for later on. They did have notes and did know about the concern reported 3 days after initial repair. Son brings car home from Arizona several months later.....bring car in......they say Rotors warped but tough s^&*. No warranty .(3 days!!!!) They wanted over $1,100 AGAIN to replace rotors that they installed less than a year ago. They said, " come get car, keys under matt". Prior to this experience, I liked bringing car there as it is family owned and close to my work. Unable to discuss situation on phone as they didn't ever answer and relied on texts only. Closed mid day when went there to talk about it. Like I said, Mind Blowing!

Have been trying to contact this business to schedule an appointment for over a month now since I…read moreheard great things about them, but haven't been able to reach anyone. I have called and always get sent to voicemail saying it's outside of office hours even when they're supposed to be open, and I sent a message through Facebook that was marked as read but got no response. I haven't seen anything about them being closed, they're just impossible to reach. Not very good customer service.

The insurance company made us take our car to another body shop in the area. Two days after we…read moredropped it off, they more than doubled their initial estimate. I left D&J a voicemail at 4:30 on a Friday night to get a second opinion. He called me back within 15 minutes and explained all of my options better than the other shop and the car insurance company combined. Then, on Monday, once I had seen the car and taken pictures, he gave me a $100 solution to what the other company wanted $3300 for (and should have seen in the first estimate) and said another piece they claimed needed to be fixed was structurally sound. He offered to work with me to get secondhand parts to fit within my budget if I chose to salvage the car or drop the insurance claim- and I never paid him a dime for his services! I wish I would have taken our car to D&J instead of going through insurance and the other company. They are honest, communicative and truly have the customer's best interests in mind!

I used New Bill's Autobody to perform a Maryland Safety Inspection on my vehicle. Sadly, I was not…read moreimpressed with their service, and this is not due to the fact that my car failed the first round of inspection. It is because I was told and then confirmed that I had EITHER 1,000 miles OR 30 days to fix my car and have it reinspected. However, upon my return to DJ's I was told the complete opposite by the same person. Instead of being within the 1,000 mile OR 30 day limit, one actually needed to be between within 1,000 miles AND within 30 days. As a result, I am now expected to take off more time from work to wait the obligatory two hours to have my car reinspected after I was assured that I did not have to follow both rules in order to be within the grace period after a failed inspection. But what really broke the straw was that the certified mechanic started working on another vehicle and I had to wait until he finished even though I had an appointment for that time. I cannot speak to their handiwork when it comes to repairs, but I can say, based off of my own experience, that New Bill's cannot effectively speak to their clients, and have poor customer service. And in the end they have caused a lot of wasted time and money in the long run.

I hate to have to post this, but business is business. I hope this issue can be resolved quickly so…read moreI can take this down. I own a 1975 Corvette and took it to this shop because neither of my doors would open with the key. They assured me the issue was fixed and addressed additional problems causing my battery to drain. After spending several thousand dollars, I was told everything was resolved and given a warranty on the door repairs. Unfortunately, the problem persisted. When I returned, I was shocked to hear there was no warranty. I later had a trusted friend run a diagnostic and found out the root issue was a bad starter and flex plate--issues they failed to diagnose despite charging me $300 for their inspection. In total, I paid $4,500. My doors still don't work properly, and my car had to be towed again. To make matters worse, when I picked up my car, the driver's side door was damaged, and my new custom oxblood carpet and floor mats were ruined by water damage. This happened despite providing them with a custom car cover. I also felt pressured to pay after receiving two different price quotes for the same work, which seemed very shady. I had to get a tow which the last picture is. This experience has been frustrating and disheartening. If you have a car that needs repairs, I strongly recommend taking it to someone you know and trust. Quality service matters, and this has shown me how things can go wrong when money takes precedence over professionalism. PS. Fyi my complete name is "PRINCE LATTE' ZANKLI LAWSON" look my family name up on Google and tell me what you see.. Further you didn't take any accountability on my carpet being drenched in water you said that you'll vacuum it ... What in God's name is that going to do slurp up the mildew ?? The only thing you offered to correct is my driver side lock you messed up for the second time and charged me twice when i was under warranty .. Crooked Al

They failed to identify major issues that racked up thousands of dollars of cost for us. The owner was downright nasty when we raised the concern and tried to come up with a fair resolution for his shop's failure to identify the issues. Zero integrity, zero customer service, zero quality. Do yourself a big favor and go someplace else.
