The shower doesn't work. The AC doesn't work and when I called the front desk, they told me when they have time they would come up and look at it. This is the worst place you could stay at do not stay at the gazebo Inn in Branson Missouri, they take your money and that's it. read more

I stayed at the Gazebo Inn for 3 nights while attending a medical conference in Branson. I did not go to any shows or do any shopping. I was in Branson solely for the conference. My second night at the Gazebo, I woke up with bites on my face, neck, and arm. I contacted the front desk and they put me in a different room. They did not offer to sanitize my belongings. They insist they followed all of the regulations for bed bugs. If there were bedbugs, which we only have the bites as evidence, there would have been a chance my clothes were infected and they did nothing to protect against cross contamination with the new room. My dad called the Monday after my stay to let the Manager know our intentions of writing a poor review and giving the Manager the opportunity to correct their mishandling of the issue. Instead of an apology, the manager insisted the hotel followed all proper protocol and found no evidence of bugs. The manager said the hotel had the facts and my dad was only getting second hand information. Basically accusing me of lying. I had no bites before I went to bed and was covered in bites when I woke up. I don't know what did it but it happened in my room at the Gazebo Inn. I'm only writing this review so future guests know how management is with guests and the "cleanliness" of the hotel. read more

Stay here everytime we come down which is every couple months. Love the staff and the rooms are nice and quiet even by the office. Comfy beds and I could live here if I could afford it plus they have free breakfast. Got a very nice welcome card and I couldn't have asked for a nicer stay! read more

We had reserved a handicap accessible room 2months prior to stay. When we checked in there were none available. Instead we were given a room on the ground floor. Not handicap accessible. The floor was filthy. The room was muggy and the concrete floor was sweating up through the flooring. So it was and dirty dangerous for a disabled person trying to walk. Bed and pillows are old and broke down, not comfortable. read more

Worst customer service ever! Staff were unhelpful and management outdid that by being rude and insulting. I travel frequently and have only had cause to make a complaint once or twice over the years. In those cases, I've always received courteous treatment and helpful assistance. That was not the case at the Gazebo Inn. I have stayed there before, despite it being older and a bit rough around the edges, but never asked anything of staff or management. Will never stay again. read more

Cheap, but a goody... $65 w/taxes on trivago on a Saturday. Water is hot and pressured. Great for what you use a hotel for... sleeping and showering. Breakfast is a continental with waffles. Has small frig. Beds clean. Cable Tv, coffee maker, AC works. I recommend. Don't nit pick, there are small things. ie: No designer here. I'm here now and this place is wonderful. It's centrally located, near Tanger Outlet and many restaurants. It's right on Branson strip. The staff are excellent and the room is large and spacious. The shower is bigger than most hotels I've stayed in. The water pressure is perfect and the toiletries they provide are from the Oasis brand, a particular brand I love! The room was cleaned and freshened daily and our coffee supply was always regularly maintained. The hotel's breakfast consisted of fresh waffles, oatmeal, fruit, juice, and cereal. This was a very quiet hotel and honestly, the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. It was so comfortable. I never had any sleeping problems while staying here. Parking is a bit tricky. It's on a hill. Luckily, we were usually able to find parking up front, but there is parking to the back. You'll have to hike a hill to get to your car though. This was a great stay and I would stay here again no doubt about it. I recommend the Gazebo Inn to anyone vacationing to Branson, Missouri. read more

If you're one of those people that believe that every hotel should have a mint on the pillow, a bottle of champagne chilling in a bucket, and a pretty blonde in a french maid outfit to tuck you in at night then you are going to be disappointed. The french maid was a brunette. I'm not saying this place was "no frills". The room was clean. The A/C worked. The shower was hot. There were several premium channels on the TV. The bed was about as comfortable as you expect a hotel bed to be. I couldn't hear the neighbors through the walls. All in all, it was a great bargain for the price. However, if I had paid the usual Branson price for this hotel, then I would have be very upset about that brunette maid. Seriously, some things just aren't done in a civilized society. read more

Nice place to stay for a night. At least clean looking. Skirt over priced but look where we are at. I thought it was a little high, considering we got a discount also. But all and all clean. The breakfast not impressed at all. We normally stay at a Holiday Inn Express. I would say though spend just a bit of money and stop scratching out names. Lol read more

This place is VERY CLEAN for a motel and for the price. I will with out a doubt stay here again, it was simple and just what you need!!!! There were a few less than stellar things that factored into the loss of a star, but all of them added together clearly isn't a huge deal. The one big thing, that is a total first world problem, but there was only one plug that was available to use. There was such a lack of plugs, we could either have the floor lamp plugged in, or the ac/heater. Not a huge deal, just something to note. Now, the smaller things, that again aren't a huge deal: they don't have a microwave readily available in the room. You can rent them for a day or night, but it would have been nice to have it already, again not a huge deal. Also the toilet didn't flush well, at all, and I felt like it was about to break at any minute, but it worked for the purpose! The bathroom also smelled vaguely like mildew, but it was clean and not a huge deal. The room was big, we had a love seat in the room, a small table with one chair, a cabinet, and a small dresser. The location is also pretty great! It's right on the strip, on the other side of the Tanger Outlet! The hill is pretty intense, so there are stairs, so if that's a problem, keep that in mind when booking! Bottom line, this is pretty great. read more

This place was very clean and the rooms are very nice. It's more of a motel type, with entrances on the outside of the rooms. I felt very safe here. The ladies who checked me in were extremely accommodating, even switched my room because of my elderly pets. It is located within walking distance of Tanger, a few restaurants and other attractions! Even though the traffic was backed up really bad, I did not have to wait long to get out on the Highway. read more

Booked this place the day of as I didn't think we would actually make it into Branson as it's 5.5 hrs for us. The place was right off the main rd so close to everything but it's tucked back a little bit so it was nice and quiet. The bed was actually pretty dang comfortable and since we had a queen, not the dreaded full, I could actually turn over without rolling over my husband. The room was clean and reasonably priced around $70. The breakfast was ok, could have had a few more options-mostly waffles, cereal, yogurt and muffins with banana and apples. The breakfast area was pretty tiny, I kept feeling like I was in someone's way but the gal in there was friendly. Overall good last minute stay for very reasonable price. read more

Yuck yuck and double yuck. It's cute from the outside, but our room was on the bottom floor in the back building and we felt like we were in a dungeon. So dark, all the carpeting and the decor were old. Just felt gross. We didn't even stay there, we changed our reservation to another hotel. read more

We stayed here for 4 days in October for my extended weekend birthday celebration. This is place to me was absolutely adorable. The rooms aren't luxury but I felt at home my entire stay which is much more comforting to me. It's conveniently located so you're near tons of restaurants and shopping. Our housekeeper was super sweet. The shower knob fell off after you just try to turn it on but overall it was a great stay. read more

This was the last stop of our road trip back to TX. We'd been staying at AirBnB's for around $100/night and we were in the mood to save a little money. Gazebo Inn was exactly what we needed. The room was nice and clean upon arrival and in a fantastic location. Super close to all of the attractions and shopping, like literally in the middle of the strip. We also were able to bring our dog Cooper too for only $10 extra. You can't beat it for the price. read more

We stayed this past weekend and after giving my credit card and ID to the heavy set man at the desk he still charged my mother's credit card after she had payed cash for her room. When this was discovered and brought to his attention he yelled at my mother and stormed out slamming the door so loud the glass nearly broke in the door. He was RUDE, and obviously didn't know how to do his job!! Please beware if you make a reservation and want to pay cash when you get there because they will refuse to credit your card!! read more

I booked at the Gazebo Inn "last minute" and it will probably suit most people for last minute needs, but be prepared for some inconveniences. I was very impressed at the quality of the room for the price, at first. My room had two beds and I opted to sleep in the bed that wasn't completely sunken in - in the middle. My experience turned negative when the smoke detector in my room went off for no apparent reason for about 15 minutes on my first day after waking up here. (I figured it was just a test of some faulty incident. A test was done that morning at the hotel my family was staying at that morning also.) The next evening, late, I was taking a shower to prepare for bed and the smoke alarm went off again and proceeded to scream for about 30 minutes until someone finally came down and just changed the unit. He did not apologize for the inconvenience. I informed him I suffer from an anxiety condition and I didn't even want to stay the night here anymore and he just laughed at me. (How professional, right?) "He" being the man who also checked me in on the first day; Not sure of his job title. The first morning, I went down for breakfast and was highly disappointed. There was one hard boiled egg, some unripened bananas and coffee... The breakfast attendant just sits there and watches you eat... The hotel does not provide DO NOT DISTURB signs. I was lying in bed and screaming at the housekeeper (Jimmy) NO THANK YOU and he proceeded to enter my room while I was in my bed and began to speak to me. This made me highly uncomfortable. The housekeepers storm up to begin cleaning rooms around 8 and they are LOUD talking to each other. Not everyone wants to wake up at 8 AM on a vacation Sunday. This hotel stressed me out but not to the point of ruining my vacation. JUST ANNOYING. I honestly I don't recommend. On a positive note, the shower is nice with very decent water pressure. We stayed here in January in the Gazebo Suite for 5 days. We loved it. Big bed, Big Jacuzzi tub and a Bed and Breakfast feel to the room. Smaller Continental breakfast but very warm feel to our stay. Nice, clean and room cleaned well daily. Right on the strip close to everything and priced extremely reasonable for the time of year. Highly recommend it especially if you come off season. read more

The first night we arrived it was nice and we had no issues, it was decent. Not entirely clean there were some stains on the carpet and some on the sheets and beds. The next morning I woke up showered (water is great, gets hot and has good pressure) but I laid in bed trying to plan out what I was going to do all day, and in the corner of my eye I noticed a bug crawling on the bed frame. Not just any bug, A ROACH. Gross. I instantly jumped and we killed it but after that I was just disappointed and disgusted. I didn't bring it to attention because what were they going to do about it, give us another room. I'm sure my room isn't the only one with the bugs. I also noticed ants all of the bathroom floor. This was a cheap hotel so I guess I got what I paid for but it was just disappointing because this trip was for my anniversary and I barely slept because knowing that there were bugs crawling around here just gave me the creeps. I couldn't afford to get another hotel, but anyways check your room right away and especially behind the fridge, but be prepared for what you're going to find. If you have a bug phobia don't even bother looking or staying here. Now on a good note it was in walking distance to a lot of things, we walked to the aquarium and this awesome taco place called arandas tacos, it's amazing I definitely recommend. read more

Booked through hotels.com. Had the confirmation email. I get there at 11. Office was closed and said to call the number on the door. I did and a guy came and let me in. He said they didn't have my reservation and didn't have access to computers to check. So he found me a room and stated that he "hoped" no one was in it cause again he couldn't check in the computers. He took a copy of my credit card and drivers license and said he would leave a note to the morning clerk but no guarantee they wouldn't run it. I get to my room, the room next to me is pitch black and door is cracked open, I open my room and the screws are out of my door handle. I am still trying to make this work when i realize the carpet was dirty and the ac wasn't on and it was burning up in there. Luckily hotels.com gave me a refund and we are now in a cleaned and better hotel now. I just wish I hadn't wasted 2 hours of my life at Gazebo Inn read more

We stayed there many times and loved it. However the last time was recently and my ruby earrings were stolen. I told the man serving breakfast and also called the desk. She promised me she would do a thorough check and call me back. She did not call back. We had put the do not disturb sign on the door when we left in the morning. My earrings were on the table on the right hand side of the tv. There was nothing else on that table. read more

Hotwired the room for 33 dollars and I wasn't very sure what to expect. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The bed was fairly uncomfortable as it was very firm, but I'm quite picky and its hard to find a place with comfortable beds for me. Wife and kids slept well, the room was clean albeit a little outdated. Well worth the money, and very friendly staff. The only issue I ran into that was a little unnerving was that we were arriving after 11 p.m., so our room key was just taped to the front door since no one was working the desk.the TV was standard definition but there was a decent selection of channels so I can't complain too much given the great price. The Gazebo Inn is in the perfect place. Now we stayed here for four nights and couldn't rest well with all the revving of the cars outside, one of the staff that works nights, him and his friends were right out front blaring their booming music and revving up their loud cars. We had the Homeymoon Suite in the front of the hotel and the room was nice, bed wasn't comfortable, but we could've lived with that had we been able to rest. The day staff was great. The room never got cleaned the five days we were there. Next trip will be stayed at a place away from town for the peace and quiet. read more

Staff was nice and the price is great. Rooms aren't the fanciest but it's okay. Our air conditioner smelled strange (soured) and the mini fridge kicked off and on so you couldn't really use it. Breakfast was basically cereal, donuts, yogurt, bagels, waffles and bananas or apples. read more
