Parking looks rough but wasn't too bad in the residential areas and a short walk. Patrick is awesome. He has a great memory and remembered my friends and doing the same tattoo a month me. His interaction with other people who are not sure what they wanted to get was A+ as well. I felt very at ease and I could tell the person he was interacting with also felt calm and open to asking more questions to get the design and vision they saw. He saw my small outlined tattoo idea, got me in and out in like 15 minutes. I usually like to talk to distract myself from needles and pain but I was really interested in some of the artwork they had up on the ceiling, which I thought was a great idea. I saw a design up there that might inspire my next tattoo. He also took the extra time to giving me his input in terms of placement and leaving space for a future tattoo I was thinking of getting while respecting my original ideas, I love that. 10/10 will come back for my next tattoo. Thank you so much for bringing my vision to life.

At 69 years old, I never planned on getting a tattoo. However, after losing a dear friend of 33…read moreyears, I felt a deep need to carry a memorial for them. I chose Morpheus because hir work online spoke to me, and it was the best decision I could have made. I wanted a piece with intricate, fine detail. Si immediately understood my vision, designing a breathtaking tribute that exceeded all my expectations. Si immediately grasped the grief I was carrying, manifesting warmth, deep compassion, and wisdom. What makes Morpheus truly extraordinary is the grounded spirituality si brings to hir craft. Hir artistry is deeply rooted in traditional, indigenous, and pagan rituals. Our two sessions began and ended with prayers from our respective traditions, blending seamlessly into a beautiful, comforting ritual. Morpheus' work was detailed and flawless, and si was completely focused throughout. Hir artistry reflects hir profound awareness that si carries on a sacred and living tradition. This wasn't just getting decorated; it was a deeply consoling spiritual journey. If you want a tattoo that is both visually stunning and rich with soulful depth, I cannot recommend Morpheus highly enough.

I went to Banshee Arts to get a devotional tattoo from Morpheus and I could not be happier. From…read moreinitial consultation to the finished piece, she was thoughtful and professional. Her artistic skills are top notch, and she is well-steeped in her craft. She gets both the art and science of tattooing and you can trust your ideas and your skin to her. Sounds weird, but it's true. During the consultation she was patient with my requests. She created an exceptional tattoo based on a very poor sketch (I'm not an artist by any means), and was kind and understanding during the two sessions it took to complete the tattoo, explaining what she did and why. The tattoo came out better than I expected precisely because Morpheus added details it never would have occurred to me to ask for; the moon looks like a moon with shading to represent valleys and craters; there's depth to the metal details on the shield and there's actually woodgrain on the wooden parts of the shield. The tree looks almost 3D with her shading. If you're looking for an art piece, a tattoo meaningful to you, or a devotional tattoo, this is THE place to go.

Unprofessional Work, No Price Disclosure, Zero Accountability…read more I have rarely ever left a bad review for any place or service- but I'm compelled to do so for this experience. I paid $4,000 to Laura Taylor at Ritual Tattoo for a custom piece over two sessions (5.5 hours total between August and September 2025). The work was for a frame and details surrounding an older tattoo from a different artist. The experience was deeply disappointing on every level. The Work: I showed Laura a specific piece from her own portfolio as reference - fine linework and dotwork with minimal shading. What I received was completely different: heavy shading throughout that was never discussed or approved beforehand. In the final session, she changed design elements without consultation. She never once asked if the tattoo was going in the direction we'd discussed. No Price Disclosure: Laura never disclosed her rates upfront. * Session 1: $2,000 for 4 hours (I was shocked at the expense but already invested) * Session 2: She told me it would be "about 2 hours." After only 1.5 hours, she charged her full $2,000 day rate * During session 2, when I asked about adjustments, she kept insisting I "let it heal and decide" - meaning another paid session for her Complete Lack of Accountability: * I emailed Laura about my concerns - no response * I emailed owner Matt with detailed feedback - he promised to look into it * After 5 weeks and follow-up emails, he finally responded to say Laura is an "independent contractor" so he's not responsible, and he won't offer any resolution I have a $4,000 permanent reminder of an unprofessional experience and a really disappointing tattoo that I'll have to invest more money in with another artist to fix. Save your money and find an artist who communicates clearly, honors their portfolio style, and stands behind their work.

I am writing this update in response to Hannah's response, in which she now calls me "entitled",…read more"condescending" and "abusive" and claims that I demanded she do additional drawing for free. Also, like with other former clients, she now accuses me of needing "psychiatric help" and "meds." If you are considering hiring Hannah Wolf, ask yourself whether it is appropriate to personally attack and insult your own clients like this. Ask yourself whether the unhinged demeanor she displays in her ranting responses is something you want to deal with, since it seems to be a trend with her. In fact, you don't even need to read my review. Simply read Hannah's own responses to her many other 1-star reviews and ask if this is the type of person you want to work with. I attached my email that prompted her to fire me as a client and still keep my deposit. I will let readers judge for themselves whether I was being rude and demanding. You can plainly see that Hannah is lying when she claims that I was asking for something for free and demanding that she redraw the tattoo. I clearly said in the email that I was happy to compensate her for additional drawing time, and at no point did I make a single demand. If she is willing to so obviously lie about this, how much can you trust anything she says? Her claims that I treated her rudely, condescendingly or angrily are grossly embellished and dishonest. By the tone of my email, you should be able to see this for yourself. Her claim that I "quickly became angry that it was not being done how I wanted" is pure fiction, which should again be easy to discern from the email. I can only speculate about where her comments are coming from and what specifically I did wrong to cause her to fly off the handle like this. It is true that I, like the many other clients who she has spontaneously fired, did agree to her terms of service. However, nowhere in her terms does she state that she reserves the right to fire her clients on a whim and keep the deposit anyway. There are no businesses in existence in which that is an acceptable way to treat customers. Imagine if you hired a contractor to build you a house and they ended up refusing to do the job, refused to return your deposit, and gave you nothing but a rough blueprint of a house. Then, when you dare to complain, they label you as emotionally unstable and abusive. You would agree it's absurd and unfair, not to mention probably illegal. I encourage Hannah to update her terms to make this policy clearer, although I highly doubt anyone would ever agree to hire her after reading them.
