Food truck at Burning Sun Brewery today. I tried their smashbuger. $15 for a burger, but it comes with plenty of meat and cheese and an onion ring on top. I didn't try their fries, but I would definitely try again if I was at a spot they were serving again.

I was recently visiting Yosemite for a long weekend with a bunch of friends. There were about eight…read moreof us and after a long day of activities, we were starving. We looked up Smokehouse 41 and were sold on ordering The Mammoth, which says it feeds 4 to 6 but happily I can say that, and fed eight of us with a little leftover. Unfortunately, they do not take phone orders, but I can understand - now that we arrived in person to purchase our order for takeout. It's a lot of food to be ordered and a risk should the customer not pick it up. Also, there was a long line when we arrived, the parking was full, and the outside and inside dining were pretty full as well. Although the line was long to place our order as it's made to go in front of you, it went pretty quickly. They have a great set up and they know how to move the line quickly. It can be very tough dealing with a lot of tourist, new customers who do not know what they want, but I think that the employees here did an amazing job, especially the man that cuts the meat at the front stop, and the checkout employees at the register were also very friendly. Now let me tell you, we got a full rack of ribs, half pound of pulled pork, half pound of tri-tip, half pound of chicken, half pound of sausage and a half pound of brisket. You get six rolls and two large sides and when I say large, I mean jumbo sides. We ordered the barbecue baked beans with meat, and they are generous about it, we ordered the macaroni and cheese with bacon and again very generous on the bacon. At the end of the line, close to the cashier, I asked if they can make sure we had all the condiments, including barbecue sauces we needed to go. I was so surprised when they opened up the box of our order and everything was neatly packed in a large box with all the condiments, and they were generous with those as well, including butter for the rolls and different types of barbecue sauces. They gave us paper plates as well. Everything was packed so well! This place was really cool, they had plenty of customers dining inside and outside. They had an employee monitoring the inside dining hall, and making sure everything was cleaned, and when customers left the table, quickly went into turn the table over. I will say that this establishment, especially being in a high traffic tourist area, did an amazing job! Food was incredible! My favorite was the ribs and the sausage. But the pulled pork was also delicious! I have to give the food and service five stars all the way around! Bravo to this place!

I think I'd personally prefer an actually patty so I can get medium instead of smashed which is more medium-well or well done. The smash fries were also good. Partner said the fried ended up getting pretty soggy since a lot of sauce ended up on the bottom. I personally liked them. Ingredients all tasted fresh. Odd thing to stand out, but the Coke here was so good. It's rare to get a really good Coke now and days, but this was perfect. Server was good and friendly. The space is very bar like and a little dark for my liking, but hey that's me. Still will come by after every trip here:) thank you for the fresh ingredients and friendliness.

This original location remains my recommended spot for Mediterranean food. Many Mediterranean…read morerestaurants in Fresno County are Armenian-owned, while only a small handful--like this family-run restaurant--specialize in Lebanese cuisine. Lebanese food is widely considered among the best expressions of Mediterranean cooking due to its vibrant use of fresh ingredients, particularly herbs, lemon, garlic, and olive oil, along with a strong emphasis on healthy, plant-based, and grilled dishes. It offers diverse, shareable, and nutrient-dense options such as tabbouleh, hummus, and falafel, making it both flavorful and nutritious. I always enjoy dining at Golden Grill because they exemplify Lebanese cuisine so well. Their dishes highlight fresh herbs like mint and parsley, along with garlic and lemon juice, rather than relying heavily on spices. The result is a light, refreshing, and aromatic flavor profile that feels both vibrant and balanced. The kebabs are excellent. The grilled cubes of beef, chicken, and kafta (ground beef and lamb) skewers are flavorful, tender, and juicy, topped with herbs and grilled to perfection. They carry a subtle smokiness and savory aroma, and the meats are beautifully charred with vibrant color. Their pita and saj sandwiches are also very well done. Each sandwich is warm and carefully assembled, forming a sturdy pocket filled with high-quality ingredients. They combine savory meats (or falafel and vegetables), creamy sauces, and crunchy pickles and onions into a balanced bite. The bread holds generous fillings without collapsing while still being tender enough to bite through easily. The pocket opens cleanly, creating the perfect pouch for the ingredients. For a small restaurant with limited seating that appears to receive many to-go orders, the presentation for dine-in guests is especially thoughtful. The dishes are served on clean white ceramic plates and trays, with the food carefully arranged and portions balanced. It is simple yet elegant and visually appealing. Golden Grill also captures the Lebanese mezze-style dining experience. As someone of Korean heritage, I appreciate this approach, since it is similar to how Korean meals are served with many shared dishes that provide variety in every meal. Some of the shared plates include Lebanese staples like hummus, falafel, tabbouleh, baba ghanouj, and fresh flatbread. Everything here tastes fresh and well-prepared, with distinct textures and aromatic flavors. The signature entrées come with two cold appetizers. The hummus is silky smooth, a velvety blend of garbanzo beans and tahini that almost melts in your mouth. The baba ghanouj is creamy, garlicky, and finished with olive oil. The tabbouleh is bright and balanced with lemon juice, garlic, and a generous drizzle of olive oil that ties together the citrusy and earthy flavors. The restaurant itself is clean, with tables and chairs wiped down quickly after guests leave. Service is friendly, welcoming, and helpful when placing orders. Prices are also reasonable, especially considering many competing Mediterranean restaurants do not place the same emphasis on presentation or on creating a mezze-style dining experience at no additional cost. While some may prefer other Mediterranean cuisines, I personally enjoy the fresh, light, and diverse flavors that Lebanese food offers. Golden Grill's citrus-forward dishes and extensive mezze options make it one of my favorite Mediterranean spots.

My aunt and I visited today, and literally we were constantly having trouble finding a satisfactory answer. We asked for a complimentary water, and the staff girl answered back and said that the restaurant ran out of cups. I figured, well, she couldn't just improvise and think or offer something else? Then, we also had decide to down inside. Unaware of how hot it will be, we started to sweat in the restaurant as it is in the middle of summer, and we asked if we can open the restaurant door to have fresh air enter for a more comfortable experience, and the same girl answers back telling us NO, due to potential flies that would make their way inside. Literally, how disappointed and disgusting of a behavior from an employee! I was so disappointed, and to watch other customers entering right after that thought, they kept the door swung open---- and literally we both sat there saying to each other "thank god" like seriously. And the fact that because we were sort of so hungry, we couldn't even process the thought of leaving the restaurant as we sat and started eating already! Literally the girl behind the counter was so inconsiderate, unprofessional, and also I hope she would kindly pack more food into the to go boxes, as that is the reason why I rated this place a 5 stars, on the last review. Because I saw her only pack 4 pieces of chicken wings for one of the orders, and I had suggested that she just add 2 more pieces, and she said back to me " I have to save it for the next customers" like---no, there are only 3 pieces left, girl what is the hold up? You surely don't know what it takes to provide an extra and exceptional service. It's called hooking it up. And so yeah, today I told my aunt I will rate this place 2 stars, for that reason. And I hope things improve for the next visit, because I'm not giving up on this place yet!

I ordered the asada nachos and was surprised by the $8 upcharge for the meat. The portion was extremely small--honestly, an Oscar Mayer hot dog contains more beef. The nachos themselves were decent, but far from memorable, especially considering the nearly $25 price tag. I also tried a couple of drinks. The pineapple upside-down cocktail was enjoyable, though definitely on the sweeter side, and I couldn't really taste any alcohol in it. Since the Bloody Mary was voted Best in Fresno, I had to give it a try. It wasn't bad, but it was pretty average and didn't stand out from countless others I've had. The real highlight of this place is the staff. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service. If you're looking for a sports bar atmosphere with plenty of games on TV, you'll probably enjoy it. If you're primarily looking for exceptional food, there are better options in town.
