I've been here twice. It's always with a buddy that lives nearby. He seems to like the food. The first time I came I discovered that he and I have vastly different ideas of what constitutes "good food". After that first visit I decided that this place is, for my purposes, a bar only. On my most recent visit I didn't eat but my buddy did. He was happy with his over-cooked burger and soggy fries. I was happy to enjoy my beer and spend some quality time with my friend. However, and I'd like to say I went in with low expectations, the service was abysmal. Maybe it's not the service per se. But, the attitude of those providing the service. No sense of urgency or obvious pride in their work. No upbeat disposition and no friendly demeanor. Maybe it's a sign of the times? I'm no old timer nostalgic for the "good old days". The staff here is from my generation. I no longer work in the service industry, haven't for years. But, I remember how it's done. A friendly server/bartender is worth their weight in gold. They can print their own money at a busy establishment. The staff here seems to be working against their will. Like I said, I decided a while back that this isn't a place to eat but I assumed they could handle pouring cold drinks and providing friendly service. You know, like every other bar in town? LOL! What an amazing bartender Connor is. A friend accidentally gave him a 100 dollar bill and he came back and gave it back. What an amazing bartender handling large volumes with ease. I am super impressed by his character and I love that he gives me a reason to live and believe in human kind. There are still good people out there and gators has amazing service. I come here quite often and every time I come the service is on point and the food couldn't get better!!! I recommend this place to everyone. Also gators dockside is very family friendly. We ordered 6 wings and the cheeseburger sliders. I ordered Blue cheese to go with the wings and they charge you for the blue cheese to go with the wings. I have never been charged for the blue cheese with wings. I asked for the spicy mayo on the side for the burgers. The food runner, delivered our food and said enjoy and left. There was no spicy mayo and there was no blue cheese salad dressing. I waited about 5 minutes for our waiter to check up on us and he didn't. We were sitting outside so I asked the bartender if she could get our waiter. Another 10 minutes goes by. At this point our food is cold and I asked for a manager. The manager states he will have new food made and brought out to us right away. The wings were extremely greasy ( I think they might have just threw our wings back in the fryer) and the hamburger buns were stale. I went in with my wife recently for a late lunch, this was only the third time I've been to this Gator's, my first visit was with my son a few days after they opened and I had no complaints, my second visit was about six months later and the food was terrible so I never went back. I wished I had stayed away but decided to give them another chance as my regular place was closed for renovations. It's a shame, because the building is great and the restaurant staff do try their best to make it an enjoyable experience. However, the food lets this place down, the fries came dry and barely warm from sitting under a heat lamp for too long. My wings were just "ok" nothing I didn't really expect after my last visit. My wife's burger was over priced for what it was and under cooked, the same I would say for my wings. At least I now know that I will pass this place by happily as I go through Saint Cloud, the quality of the food is just not there for me to get burned a third time... read more

A much needed addition to the area. A wonderful combination of restaurant and sports bar. They just introduced a new seafood many to the regular menu. I've tried the seafood combo and the lobster roll so far. Both dishes we very good. It was a great place to watch Sunday football. Staff is always friendly and ready to help. Stopped in for an impromptu Saint Patrick's Day dinner. I probably shouldn't have but I had the fried pickles and OMG, amazeballs! I ordered the Turkey Muffaletta, gators homemade spinach and artichoke dip, grilled turkey breast and tomato pressed with swiss and parmesan on pita bread and the onion petals. It was ok, I think I expected it to be cheesier. I only had a quarter of it because I filled up on everything fried. I will have the rest of it for lunch tomorrow. Let me start off by saying I loved this place. My hubby not so much. Its not that he didn't like it but, being a vegan/vegetarian the menu is not great. We were seated as soon as we arrived no wait. That was nice for a Saturday afternoon with college football on. Our Waitress Jen came right over and asked about our drink order. I excused myself to use the restroom and by the time I returned my ice tea with lime was watching for me. Nice. I was not sure if I wanted wings or the burger and went with the burger on Jen's advice and I was so glad I did. I got the most perfectly cooked med. rare perfectly seasoned burger of my life. I choose to add bacon, mushrooms and blue cheese crumbles and boy did that just go great with the burger. I ordered the onion petals instead of fries which just topped off my meal amazingly. My hubby on the other hand could only really have the cesar salad. I am sure if they would have had say a black bean burger he would have enjoyed that. Jen our waitress had great service skills and you could tell that she knew what she was doing. She knew the menu inside and outside. She is good. She even brought me new ice tea when she thought it had been seating too long and that the ice melted and it would be to watered down. That was a very very nice touch. The place has more T.V.'s than best buy and every sporting event you could think of was on one. The food came out very quickly and hot. The restaurant was very clean and looked like they cared to keep it looking that way. The bathrooms was large and well kept. I am so happy that they built a Gators in St. Cloud! This is a great place to go to if you want to watch the game, have lunch or dinner. It family friendly, yet has two bars and high tops in the bar area. There are TV's located everywhere, so there is not a bad seat in the house. Food is consistently good and so is the service. They have specials every night such as all-you-can-eat wings, 2-4-1 drinks, etc... Parking can be touch at times as the parking lot is tiny, but it is connected to the Gold's Gym plaza's parking lot... so you can always park in there and walk over. read more

We were pretty hungry so we said what he brought was fine and we'd figure it out..well not only was the "Cajun Chicken Alfredo" not spicy, at ALL but there was NO chicken. Not one piece. Just shrimp..tomatoes green pepper and lots of Alfredo plopped ontop of noodles. My mother's seafood pasta like I said quite similarly resembled mine, IF their was any crab or other fish the pieces were so small you couldn't see them let alone taste them...giving it a 2 star bc id like to revisit and get something else like a burger or Mojo pork tacos like originally planned..but the server strongly suggested the pasta, but I think I've had frozen Stouffer bags that were better! read more

1st time visit the restaurant is a sports bar environment it's noisy inside. The food was good will visit again . It's about $15 person with the tip and no alcohol. There's a good variety of menu items from seafood to burgers . A lot of appetizers to choose from. The food was well presented and was well above average. "Seasoned" fries were not seasoned (all 3 plates), unless you count the parsley (or oregano, whatever) flakes sprinkled over the top.
