The place has always been good in the past, but last night it was awful. The wings were fried to death and the sauce (garlic Parmesan) tasted like complete dog duke. The server and manager said it may be because we got there at 8:45pm, or maybe there was only one cook, or maybe even because i said "re-toss" my wings when I ordered them...? My wife and I came in for a late lunch and wish we picked up on the signs people leaving with full beers. All three tables by us payed early and just up and left. The server next to us only knew the word sorry and I don't know where the manager is. Our server stood over by the atm starring off into space were the cooks brought all our food out. When I asked workers that were standing at the computer a simple question if they had the NHL network they looked at me like I was a huge problem and they didn't have time. So - the food is a bit above average for bar food - and the racing arcade game and pool table provide a great way to relax with reasonable prices all around. I've been going to this location since the one on 103rd closed, especially for the UFC pay-per-view fights, but this location is probably one of the newer locations and in a nice area. There are flat-screen TVs all around the bar and dining areas so that you can be able to watch the game(s). The wings are good, the Parmesan Garlic being my favorite of them. Service was good, the bartenders were nice and attentive, especially Chris, who served me last Saturday night when I was there for the UFC match. Food and service was good. We were there before the dinner crowd hit so it was pretty slow. Food came out in a timely manner never had to ask for a refill. Only problem I had was that we were seated next to the greeters desk and it was a gathering spot for employees could barely hear what was going on at my table due to all the staff having conversations. They are pricey but the food is good. I am hooked on their Caribbean jerk wings. I get those almost every time I go there along with the fried pickles. You can easily run up a pretty high bill if you're at the bar. If you're going to drink, I'd rather go to chili's as their happy hour is all day every day on certain drinks. read more

My sister in law and my 5 week old baby went here for lunch. The staff was very nice and professional. They were able to accommodate us even with a carseat. Great atmosphere, clean environment, and our server was great. This place is unique. It's been the neighborhood trivia event, UFC fight nights and default bar for me for the past 10+ years. The food I would grade a 7 out of a 10, well above average. The drinks are well made. The bar service is excellent, Chris & Tabitha are the best bartenders!!! It's a friendly environment, staff is always nice, polite, bathrooms always clean, rarely have they messed up my food or drink orders in the past 10 years....... That means a lot! One Star only because negative star isn't an option. Worst visit ever. Wasn't busy enough for all this nonsense. Our favorite Server wasn't working, exit to the left. But we stayed. Don't know who our server was , she didn't introduce herself. Asked for dressing on the side for a salad. Didn't happen. Basically just threw that $ in the trash. Asked for the wings to be grilled. Consumer alert, they ARE NOT GRILLED , not in the true fashion. They fry them, and then put them on the grill. What does that mean? Overcooked, FRIED, unhealthy wings. I asked for grilled for a reason. Fail. Server wasn't as attentive as she should have been, definitely received a lower tip than our usual standard, and More than we feel was deserved. Your customer is CLEARLY unhappy during the entire meal. Where is true customer service these days? We'll try this place again, because this is our first negative experience. I go there when that's no other option, food and drink are over priced. There inconsistent with the wings, some times there on point, most of times there over cooked or kind of old, getting the fries is like a box of chocolates you never know what you going to get fresh or very old fries. This is the fourth time at Oakleaf and the last. The first time was fine. Each time thereafter has gotten progressively worse. The drink was not very good, and the food was worse. The service was fine. I ordered the Nachos. Not good. I didn't eat them and the others at the table taste tested and there were also no takers for my "freeby help yourself nachos." NO ONE wanted them. These were the kind of nachos that you would eat if you were really REALLY hungry, but only if you had no other food choice. Fortunately, we went there for the company and not for the food or drink. The waitress was fine. She earned her 20% tip. Gator's Dockside is now off my list of places to go. read more

We're retired military and HUGE MMA fans. Moved to Argyle last year and had been looking for a "Bar Home" to watch UFC PPV events. Came across this facility. Stopped in yesterday to give it a look/see and we were delightfully surprised. It would be GREAT for watching sports. We ordered Buffalo Shrimp as an appetizer then my Wife had Fish and Chips while I chose the Mahi and Shrimp entre. Food and service was GREAT! Sadly though, they no longer have UFC events there? WTH? The story I got was they were losing money on those events. Sorry guys; that's a management problem. You need to take reservations for the UFC Events paid IN ADVANCE. This will weed out the teenagers that occupy space and drink water all night. UFC Events are money makers "if" you work it correctly. If you ever need help making it work; please let me know. The only reason I didn't rate you five stars was no UFC events. Argyle doesn't want to cross Blanding to watch UFC, eat and have a beer. They will come to YOU and won't have an issue paying to reserve a table. read more

I've been to the Argyle location 5 times. We've dined in once and had no issues. Our waitress was nice and the food was good. The 3 stars comes from ordering take out. When you pick your order up they ask you if you'd like to look at the order. I always say no, because The area is small and you have people coming in and they want you to check the food behind the hostess desk. My first order to go was great, the other two were missing small items which was fine. Last night was it though, I ordered buffalo shrimp and was craving something spicy and added the hot garlic sauce (so I thought). I got home and the shrimp had no sauce and the monte cristo did not have the raspberry sauce. I was truly disappointed as I work long hours and drive over an hour to get home from work, it was 9:30 when I got home so there was no point in returning. If you order out, guess you should obviously check the order prior to leaving. I just think it's ridiculous, we shouldn't have to check that the meals paid for our properly prepared. read more

They used to be so good. But now at the end of my meal I remember saying I didn't like it as much. And I know I said the same thing the last time I was here and the time before that. When you're hungry and someone has a good offer that night. You find yourself someplace eating food that sometimes isn't that great. That's the case here. Monday nights have AYCE chicken wings for $12.99 The wings have gotten smaller and that means they are too crispy even when you asked for them grilled. The sauce is far too bland and just a thin coating at that. I ordered Hot Garlic to start. Mostly vinegar and not enough spice or garlic. Next was Sweet Thai Chili, more sweet than chili but clearly the more tasty of the trio. And lastly, Scooter which was less sweet than the Sweet Thai Chili but somehow less flavorful than any of the others. The orders and recorders came out very fast. The service is actually on point tonight. In the past it was always slow and like pulling teeth. The referees came out before you even finished your first wing. However, I will note that none of the drinks were refilled and that's a big no no for me. I dislike being thirsty. Next time I need to come out shopping, I need to start packing more snacks so I don't end up here again. read more

NEW FAVORITE SPOT! Cold beer, great service, and delicious food. Not to mention you will have at least 3-4 TVs in your line of sight anywhere you sit. And they have the NFL ticket. We have eaten here a few times, and have enjoyed the experience each time. We live in Fleming Island and have just not found a place that is unique and relaxing and fun to watch a game at near us. Dockside has good food, good drinks, good atmosphere, good service and we just enjoy it all around each time we go. The past two times our server has been Tucker. He was attentive without being overly interrupting (which happens at a lot of places). He was very knowledgeable about the menu and ready with recommendations. He was very patient when I had a hard time choosing what I was going to eat (I'm sort of the joke of the family when it comes to taking forever to order). It makes us want to come back time and time again for the great food, drinks and service - and we would hope to sit in Tucker's section again. I think everybody looks for the kind of place "where everybody knows your name", and I could see dockside being that place for us. You guys are doing a great job... keep up the good work! read more
