Wednesday early evening here for the wing's and some beverages. The wait staff seems out of touch w what is going on. They have a trivia thing going on so quiet but preparing to be busy. The manager here is abrupt and rude. Walks around with a (he's doing us a favor) face. Manger with tattoos on his arms. Doesn't say anything to anyone when he came to the table each time. Does NOT belong around people. This place struggles without him, don't need him helping out. The unlimited wings sounds good however the time in between takes forever. Why even offer them if you can't meet the demand? And by demand, 3/4 of the place was empty. Wait staff seems to be be worried about their personal endeavors as well. We waited for everything a prolonged people of time while they sat around in talked. With this poor management I can see where they get it from. Twice we have been in here twice we had failures. The host interaction was unprofessional -- our table was initially ignored, and there was confusion and a dismissive response when we asked for dessert boxes during AYCE wings night. Fantastic. The restaurant honestly wasn't busy on a Wednesday night at 7pm. The waitress was attentive and polite. Wednesdays is all you can eat boneless wings with one side for 13.99. Didn't get the deal but it sounded great. I got the grilled wings and they were amazing. The blue cheese is also great. The restaurant was clean, the manager was friendly and checked on us. This was my first time at any of the Gators Dockside location and I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was! They had a bunch of tables inside and even an outside area with a bar. They had TVs everywhere so great spot to watch some sports. I got mozzarella sticks to start and they came out pretty fast! They were pretty tasty. For my entree I got the gator burger with American cheese and that too was good. Great little spot, will definitely go again. I went with friends and family, it was very accommodating! I've been to this location a few times. There is plenty of parking. The service has always been friendly. The menu has a wide selection, so I feel like there's something for everyone. Despite being in Orlando for quite some time, I had never actually eaten at gator's. Had some friends in town and decided to grab a quick bite here and was pleasantly surprised. The service was quick despite being near the theme parks. We ordered the mozzarella sticks to share and they were pretty good but could've been warmer. However, I ordered the mini burgers for myself and I loved them. The garlic aioli mayo with caramelized onions = perfection! The burgers were cooked perfectly and the fries were great as well. I also felt the food was reasonably priced for the portion sizes which is always appreciated in today's economy. Overall, highly recommend passing by if you're near the parks! read more

Perfect way to end a work night. I got the Watermelon blast which is my go to drink besides a high noon at gators. The perfect blend of coconut and watermelon it slaps every time. I got the pretzel bites and damn they hit the spot. Buttery, soft and fresh; this is what I needed after work. The bar girl I have is very nice, her name is Naylani. The pretzel bites came out so fast too! Excellent service for a Monday night. Gators is more of a sports bar that service food than a restaurant. I'm confident that if you get some wings, you're going to think they are fine. Not excellent, not bad, but you'll know what you're going to get each time. All of our wings were absolutely drenched in sauce, so they had tons of flavor but they were pretty messy. I think next time, if there is a next time, I should try the salad option so that there is something with some health benefits on the plate beyond fried chicken. While I won't be rushing back here, and I think there are better wing options around town, this place isn't bad for the price, location, and quality - you know what you're going to get. read more

I've been here several times. The drink selection is wonderful, but I haven't found any food I've really liked. Today I talked to the server and she said they bread everything. I asked if that held true for the fish and chips. She said yes. The fish was perfect. Fries were meh, the fish was the shining star. read more

This new Gators features the standard outside bar chairs and also patio seating. This is part of the Gators chain so the menu is their corporate standard. They have the usual specials like AYCE bone in wings on Monday and AYCE boneless on Wednesday. I was there on a cool night and they had the garage door like panels for the bar down but they have both the inside and outside bars. Gator's has inviting patio tables and chairs and they had those pyramid shaped patio heaters that look like a large flame to keep brave people warm. The seating is the same as you would find in any Gator's with an emphasis on light wood tables and chairs and large TVs every couple feet. I had a domestic beer and a pint was 3.99. Another patron commented that was cheap for normal (not happy hour) pricing. I also had a bowl of the soup of the day which was tomato. It was creamy with chucks of tomato and really filled me up. After a terrible experience at Cheesecake Factory, we headed over to try the new Gator's Dockside location. We were immediately greeted and seated. Food did not disappoint and came out in record time. While we had our heart set on the Cheesecake Factory, gators did everything in their power to make our experience a great one. I really wish they had some ciders on draft or crafts that weren't IPA's. The bar service is always quick, and the food is good and there are plenty of options. We do some here pretty often given its location, and there is definitely one server we always avoid for being to...familiar... with us. I'll exchange small talk, but at some point, you need to leave us to eat in peace. read more

Pleasantly surprised by this place! We had come for lunch on a Saturday, and it was pretty empty. We sat outside since it was such a nice day! Service was very friendly and attentive at every step of the way. I had ordered the tuna app and the cobb salad. The tuna was spicy and delicious. Been to this gators a few times with my son because the location is actually very close to us and seeing that it is new we figured it was a great addition to the area.. unfortunately the service is very lacking, last time we went the server wanted to go home so bad that she clear the table and sprayed it with cleaner while i was still trying to eat my meal.. never have i seen anything like that in all my years of dining. I also ordered a Caesar salad that was soo drenched in dressing that it was more of a soup than a salad, not to mention i asked for the dressing to be on the side.. Today we decided to give it another chance and pass by after our day at the park, only to dine in and have a bunch of hidden charges for everything we asked for.. the restaurant was completely dirty with eaten chicken wings on all the tables. And getting silverware took forever. Don't waste your money on the SCAM video games. They are so rigged it crazy. When we first started coming here when it opened they were legit. Apparently the owner is hurting for money. The best cob salad I've ever had. The chicken was so FRESH and perfectly seasoned. The blue cheese dressing was also as delicious. I would be shocked if it wasn't homemade. My only complaint is I prefer dark romaine and this seemed like iceberg. I can't wait to come back. Bartender was very cordial and helpful with the menu as well as the area. It is a sports bar atmosphere. Has outdoor seating and great specials. Wednesday all you can eat boneless wings and chips 6-10 and Mich Ultra pints $2.99! The restrooms are immaculate too. So... we love Gators! Let me start there! We just moved back to town and met up with friends to catch up. We ordered two apps, full meals per person, and approximately 1 (maybe 1.5) drinks per hour for the duration of our visit. As mentioned, we were catching up with friends, so we spent about 5+ hours in the nearly empty building. Again, the service was good, and the bartender was kind. However, we were cut off without warning. I am a bartender, and from my training, the first steps are to serve water, offer more food, and talk to the clients to check their tolerance/intoxication level. Had the management done so, she would not have cut us off. I respect cutting people off when necessary, but the disrespect from the manager is the issue here. She did not say anything to us, and when addressed, was so disrespectful and rude! She also cut off the entire table rather than just those she felt were too intoxicated. This was especially frustrating because, although I was not planning on drinking anything else for the night, I had been drinking water for the last two hours, so it seemed unnecessary to cut everyone off. Additionally, one of our friends who was nowhere near intoxicated inquired as to why she was being cut off. She asked if she was being loud, disrespectful, or slurring, and the manager said "no," but proceeded to cut her (and the rest of us) off. She claimed we had been there for hours longer than we were, and that she "had receipts" to prove that we drank too much. Additionally, we ordered drinks for friends who showed up at the bar, so although our check may have shown additional drinks, they were not all consumed by our party. I rarely post negative reviews because I respect people and understand that things happen, but I am appalled. I would be embarrassed as a company to be represented by the disrespectful manager that we spoke with this evening. Gators... do better! We love gators and always drove to another location. When we saw this location was finally open we were so excited! Brand new restaurant so super clean, friendly staff. Huge bar that's inside but has windows on one side and bar stools and an outside patio. The food is always great here and consistent, hot, fresh food. I have had the gator tail, their wraps, grilled wings, salads, burgers and tacos and it's all delicious. Check out their specials they have a good kid menu as well read more

The food was good and plenty...best fries! However, it's a cross between a sports bar and family restaurant. Way too many TV's...not a spare space around the perimeter of the restaurant...and constantly changing over-assortment of events on them. When we arrived, it was very hot and the manager had to lower the air conditioning. Our server had difficulty taking our orders, and the salad came out with wilted, brown lettuce. They forgot one of the appetizers as well, and had to go back to back to get it. The wings came out incorrectly and the tater tots were ice cold. It took almost twenty minutes to pay the bill because the server had to correct the check, and then they had to get another tablet to process the check. The service was poor throughout the visit as well. We will not be returning. read more
