What a cute little boutique showcasing local crafters and artists' creations! One-of-a-kind jewelry, candles, pottery, shirts, purses, hats, and more are displayed on one side of the room and the "studio" portion with tables are on the other side. Gather holds a number of different crafting classes, from painting to macramé, to candles and body scrubs, and everything in between! They also offer seasonal classes such as wreath-making and chunky blanket weaving. I attended a private "Scrub & Bubbly" party where we made 3 different body scrubs to take home. The sweet owner Meleya was our instructor and had the mimosa bar and our work space, nicely organized with all of our tools and ingredients, set up when we arrived for our 90 minute class. She had some pre-printed recipe suggestions for us or we could make up our own concoctions as far as what scents we liked. Everyone's individual sugar scrubs turned out amazing! It was such a fun and enjoyable time, sipping on our mimosas and getting our hands dirty (and by that, I actually mean, getting our hands CLEAN AND SOFT AND SMELLING WONDERFUL!). Perfect spot to host a special event (birthdays, showers, etc.) or if you're just in a crafting mood. So gather your friends, make something awesome, and have a great time! read more

Visited Gather Studio and Marketplace on Small Business Saturday! Beautiful place that has a ton of local vendors and items. They have jewelry, clothes, home decor, dry shampoo, and more! Gather hosts a variety of craft classes. You can learn to knit an infinity scarf, glass etching, jewelry stamping and so much more. The day I attended their one year anniversary event we made a glass gratitude jar and a hanging succulent in a glass ornament. I had so much fun! You can book your own private party, you can bring food and snacks for that or use their local chefs and bakers. Visiting here with a group of friends would be fun, for girls night out. Date night or a this is a great birthday party idea too! I'm looking forward to returning soon! read more

What a great place! I had been wanting to come here since they opened but the holiday craziness prevented me from getting over here. I came the other night for a meeting. It's on Auburn Folsom Road, near Douglas. Easy to find and centrally located. If you're facing the building, the majority of parking is on the left side (South) of the building. The space is warm and inviting! The owner is passionate about creating a place to make memories and gather. I love that. They have activities and classes six days a week - always something fun going on. Check out the schedule on their website. If you are at all crafty or want to learn how to get your craft on, Gather has you covered. This place is warm and inviting with classes that include making chunky blankets and body scrubs, and they are celebrating their one-year anniversary on Small Business Saturday, Nov. 30. In addition to craft-making, the shop also offers goodies and wares from local vendors, ranging from soy candles to caps. I saw a lot of cute stuff that would make great gifts and my friend actually bought a gift for someone while we were there. The owner guided us through the body scrub-making process, which was very easy and included a wide variety of naturally fragranced oils, botanicals for exfoliation, two different kinds of sugar, salt and coconut oil for moisture. We each made three different scrubs, which smelled great and since my friend won a contest, we were able to enjoy mimosas while we made our scrubs to add to the fun. Had an amazing time last Saturday at Gathers studio. Saw a candle making class on Facebook and decided to go. Meleya was amazing and so patient with us. Walking into the store it was very welcoming and Meleya explained that everything in the store is made from local artists. The class that I attended was a soap making class. Meleya had 5 different melt and pour bases and tons of add ons like oatmeal, brown sugar, flowers, tea, and shells. We got to make 6 bars of soap with whatever combination we wanted. After we were done pouring soap Meleya gave us cellophane wrap and brown bag to carry the soap home in. While the soap harden Miley's talked about different soap methods and how she decided to open her store. She also offers one on one classes for a walk in basis. Which is cool, especially if you want to do a product last minute. She also offers private parties which I think will be cool for bridal/baby shower etc. I'm so glad that I took a chance on a Facebook event. Best decision ever, will defiantly be back for future classes. read more

The Gather Studio and Marketplace is a great place to go for fun projects and to get your creative juices flowing. I attended a Women's Wellness retreat recently and had a great time! We started the day off with a short exercise program at Kaia Fit (Granite Bay) (next door to Gather) and then had a light continental breakfast at Gather. As the day progressed, we listened to a health/nutritionist, learned about crystal's and their psychic benefits (very interesting), I had Crystal Rising's Kathleen do a grid on me and learned some interesting things. We had lunch, did yoga and meditation, towards the end of the day we had snacks and did a vision board. It was a great day!! I would recommend you check Gather Studio and Marketplace out. read more

Our Moms group did our holiday party here last night and it was AMAZING! From planning to execution, Meleya did an amazing job! She set up a private link for our group to purchase tickets, allowed us to bring in our own food, and even coordinated a guided wine tasting for us! I highly recommend scheduling your next team building or group event at Gather... oh and the local market was definitely an added bonus. This place just opened (November 2018), and it's a great creative space where local arts can showcase their work and the community can learn new skills and craft their own creations. From soap making and signs to hand made bags and succulent pumpkins, there's something for everyone. I hear they have (or will have soon) classes for kids as well. The owner is super friendly and knowledgable, she teaches some of the classes and brings in artists as well. I took the cold press soap class....not only did I learn a ton but I got to bring home 2.5 pounds of home made soap to use!!! If you like making things or DIY projects, check this place out, you meet new people, learn a new skill, and take home ideas for future endeavors. Looking forward to my next class!! read more

Such an adorable shop! I would recommend it and will definitely visit again. The atmosphere is relaxing yet inspiring, and the shop owner, Meleya, is a sweet-heart! She really paid attention to the details of hosting a party at her shop that made the entire experience unique and authentic. My guests loved the succulent pumpkins we created. Me and my girlfriends attended Driftwood Succulent Centerpiece Workshop and had a fabulous time and came home with some great live works of art. It was relaxed and enjoyable. Teacher was very welcoming and informative. Highly recommend for a joyful time with friends. read more

Went here once. Never again. The owner couldent be more rude. The prices are ridiculously high and there creativity gets a -10 out of 100. This is a good place to go if your incapible of looking up a diy project and putting something together yourself. I could glue a feather to a stick and it would be better than any project they offer here. And if all of that isent enough to keep you from going here there lack parking will be because there is none. read more

Love, love, love this place. Not only does the owner, Meyeya, support local artists and crafters by selling their wares, but she sponsors classes by these artists. Since January, I have taken the Acrylic Pour, the arm knitting and the succulent wreath workshops. I walked out after two hours with a great piece of work and now have new artsy skills (certainly need more practice on the knitting though). Bring a bottle of wine, grab a friend or two and go spend a few hours finding your creative soul. Need a quick gift? Excellent selection for baby gifts, tee shirts, crafty hand towels and don't miss all the leather items done by this amazing artist who lives in Roseville. I think once a month she hosts this "Meet the Maker" event for a few hours. I met the leather lady, a woman that creates some cute natural decor and just hung out, drank wine and chatted with them. The artists have a bunch of supplies and you get to make something while sipping wine. Crafters and non-crafters will love this place. Check out the projects on Facebook and Instagram too. read more
