The prices are good, and the drinks are even better. I got a huge glass of fantastic sangria for only $8! We also ordered the pita and hummus tapa, which was so so good. And it came with a LOT of pita (much appreciated). The music inside is awesome, and the aesthetic is really cool. I loved all the paintings. Service was a bit slow when we came...but because of how long we had to wait they comped our drinks so I can't complain at all. That was so nice of them to do! Overall an awesome place, I will definitely come back here every time I visit.

Their selection is outstanding: a well-balanced mix of familiar, high-quality domestic wines (think Cakebread, Caymus, Ken Wright), rare gems you'll almost never spot on a by-the-glass list (like an incredible Royal Tokaji Furmint from Hungary), and top-tier premium vintages (including Kathryn Hall and Will Harlan). The best part? Almost every wine--except the ultra-premier vintages--is available in 2 oz pours, making it easy to explore without committing to a full glass. I have no idea how they keep so many bottles perfectly fresh (magic? generous amounts of Argon?), but it works. The décor nails the theme, the staff are warm and knowledgeable, and the small plates are thoughtfully chosen to complement the wines. A must-visit for anyone who loves exploring wine without breaking the bank.

(I know nothing about wine, other than it comes in different colors and is made from grapes. I turned 21 a few months ago, and she turned 21 during quarantine, so we were clueless together.) You walk in and are greeted and given a card. You can use said card to select your wine, and when you're ready to leave you give the card back and pay, since this card keeps track of how much your spending. The selection was amazing! You have 3 options: a taste, 1/2 glass, and full glass. There's also a small appetizer menu. My friend and I split a chocolate fondue and honestly, it was one of the best fondues I've had. There were orange slices, cookies, and a toffee for you to dip into the chocolate with fondue forks. My friend and I had such a fun night, and the woman working (possibly the owner? I'm not sure) was so helpful and welcoming! We will most definitely be back.

We usually stay in town at one of the motor lodges and frequent the local establishments for food and drink. One place we hit at least once is McGann's Pub and Wine Bar. It is run by a couple, Denny and Ellen, in what was a residence at some point. The wine bar is in the lower level with a bar and tables spread through out. There is also an outdoor patio. The owners are transplants from the Chicago area and some of the decor shows their roots (Chicago Cubs stuff, I am a White Sox fan :)). The place is very relaxing and laid back with a mixture of locals and out of towners clientele. A great place to meet people while enjoying a glass of wine or a beer. They make their own thin crust pizzas which also show their Chicago roots. Great pizza! It may take some time to get as Denny makes each pizza with love.
