    Notice the eyebrow to the left (my right eyebrow) about 1/3 is missing - this 2 weeks after they cleaned my eyebrows up!

    These ass clowns shaved 1/3 of one of my eyebrows off when I went in to get them cleaned up. It's worth noting that the picture of my eyebrows is 1.5 weeks old - so just imagine how bad it was when they first shaved my eyebrow off. I should have known something was up when the lady doing the eyebrows rushed out of the room when she was done without giving me a chance to look at my eyebrows. It was also super unprofessional that she asked to be tipped via Venmo, to which I replied no, I'll tip on my card. Any reputable establishment that did this to a customer would have not even charged them let alone asked to be tipped by Venmo. Avoid this dump. I should have read the other reviews and gone somewhere else. Don't make the same mistake I did

    I have come to this salon twice now and each time has been a great experience! Linh was extremely helpful and patient with me as I was trying to understand the color and service I wanted. The inside is beautifully decorated and the service is kind, welcoming and efficient. Loved how my nails turned out!!

    No cuticle treatment.

    Rude, unprofessional, poor quality. Probably one of the worst nail experiences i've had in a long time. I went here because my normal place was fully booked so i decided to try this one. First, The gel color selection was limited and it was very hard to pick out since you have to choose by bottle color, no samples. I asked for one layer of clear dip powder and gel polish on top and the gentleman technician said "just do dip color". I shouldn't have to explain myself for the way i like it done. Next, after asking specifically for ONE layer of dip, he proceeded to do two on my pinky finger and when i asked again for one layer he was annoyed by the request and reluctantly did one layer on the rest. after the one layer he proceeded to grind down the entire layer with the electric nail drill tool which defeated the purpose. There was NO cuticle treatment at all nor hot towel. The shaping of the nails was crooked and i had to request them to be fixed. To top it all off, they charged me $65 for this service. At my normal salon the same exact service is $38. I was going to let it go and just not go back until my nails started chipping not even ONE week later. I called to express my frustration with my service and was directed to the managers boss who completely ignored me. Did not return my calls or texts. I will never be returning.

    One of the worst experiences I've ever had with a nail salon. The technician didn't wear shoes and had on a filthy shirt. She didn't buff my nails and when I asked why, she started speaking rudely in her language to the other technicians, who in turn spoke back to her in their native language while looking directly at me. So appallingly rude! Because she didn't buff the nail there are tiny bumps under the glopped on nail polish. I had to sit under the dryer for 5 cycles to get them even the least bit dry. While I was waiting for my nails to dry, another customer was complaining to another technician about how he painted each of her hands a different color. His response, "that's what it's supposed to look like." The woman tapped me on the shoulder and asked me if they were two different colors. I said, "yes they are and that I would never again return to this place." At that moment another technician said, "It's none of your business!" I said, "she made it my business and you people are the worst!" I don't understand how anyone would ever go to this place. It's awful! Unbelievably rude staff and it's dirty! The woman painting my nails didn't wear shoes! On what planet is that okay. Stay away! There are so many other establishments with nice and professional staff that do a good job. This was a waste of my time and money.

    I was able to get a walk-in right away. Everyone was friendly. My nails do look great however I was hurt a couple different times. My own nail was ripped when taking off my last set. And almost every nail bed is scraped from filing.

    I uploaded my photo of my wedding nails done by Emmy 4/30/14. She does an awesome job and she's so sweet. Some of the other tech's are hit or miss but overall Gateway does a nice job. The facility is clean and relaxing and fairly priced. The wedding nails were $$$ ($50) because Emmy recommended pink and white as opposed to paint- which I'm so glad I got done because aside from growing out- they look exactly the same today. Normally I go for french a la nail polish ($35) but this was worth the expense for my big day.

    I have been there 3 times now & each has been a positive experience. Tony does an outstanding job on dip nails. Love them every time!

    I love it here. Nice people and great pedicure. They have great hours. I can never get out during the week and they are open on Sundays!!

    Day 1 Two of my friends recommended microblading to me…read more I got impulsive, I saw a groupon and called the artist Jackie whose phone number was on the groupon page. She said I could go in on the same day at "Salon d'artist" in Wayne PA . She is very personable and I liked her. She gave me an hour of service. I was happy with the result and venmoed her the groupon price $240 (as friends and family so she didn't need to pay fees). I was planning to tip her at the second touch up service. Jackie gave me instructions to apply aquaphor every couple of hours and take lukewarm showers. Jackie also told me that 40% of my microblading color would be gone and there was no need to worry. She would fix everything for me with a follow up touch up service which usually takes 10-20 minutes I followed Jackie's instructions of applying aquaphor every couple of hours and didn't take a shower until day 4. Day 4: When I got up I was upset to see a big piece of scalp peeled off my eyebrow without any color left . I sent a picture to Jackie right away and she said my skin was too dry. I explained the picture was taken right after I got up from bed . She said she would fix it. I said Thank you and told her I would start taking lukewarm showers. After I took my shower, while applying aquaphor, a lot more scalps fell off from my eyebrows. I texted Jackie, she said it's too much scabbing. Day 8 My eyebrows became ugly. Too much color was gone. I would say compared to day one 80% of the color has been gone. I texted Jackie the photos and said I was extremely upset with the result and it shouldn't be like that. I said I didn't want the touchup service and asked for a $200 partial refund . Jackie said she would get back to me later. I said I would wait until the next day. Day 9 I texted Jackie for an answer and she got back to me. She kindly took consideration of my pain during the first service and agreed the second touch up service wouldn't work for me. She said she would need to talk to the salon Manager JoAnn and possibly partially refund me. She asked me to wait 3 or 4 days as JoAnn was on vacation. Day 14 I asked Jackie whether she talked to her manager. Jackie asked me to call JoAnn . I called JoAnn , her only words to me were "We wouldn't do anything for you unless you came in". So we made an appointment. Day 20 I arrived on time for the appointment. Jackie was having clients. JoAnn and I briefly went over the whole thing in the waiting area. She said she would look at my eyebrows at Jackie's room when Jackie became available as the waiting area was too dark. About about 30 minutes' wait, Jackie, JoAnn and I had the discussion. Here is the summary of our arguments: JoAnn and Jackie didn't deny my eyebrow result was bad. JoAnn and Jackie said it's normal to have bad results after the first service and sometimes it might take 2 or 3 times of the touch up service. . JoAnn insisted that I wouldn't let them finish the service so she would not refund me. I insisted that I wasn't warned that the first time service result could be this bad and I was expecting better results and the touch up is mostly to repair small areas. In my case if the touch up is supposed to fix it, it would take much more time than the first time service and it might even take two trips . I do not want to go through the same process again: being questioned about not applying enough aquaphor, and looking at my mirror every day and getting upset. At the end, I made it clear to JoAnn that I didn't ask for a full refund. Since I didn't want the touch up service which probably would take much longer than the first time service, why wouldn't she refund me partially? She said she would get back to me. Day 21 JoAnn hasn't got back to me. I have to mention Jackie is always nice. She never dodged my messages. She kindly offered to clean up my eyebrows (remove residual ink in some areas as it's too ugly). JoAnn seems to be a charming person despite being scary on the phone. It's just this experience is too disappointing for me and it took so much of my time and my energy. ------------ editing to add: Late in the afternoon, JoAnn sent me an email but she twisted many details in the email. I cleared up her misstatements in my reply. ----------- editing to add: Even the transaction happened initially between me and Jackie, when Jackied asked me to deal with JoAnn, out of respect for Jackie I didn't pressure Jackie. JoAnn challenged me to go to BBB or a local court. I did go to BBB. Then Jackie started to harrass my company saying I am malicious? I finally realized Jackie wasn't innocent as I thought she was. She is complicit.
