Pricing (as of 2019 October) was as follows: $40 plus tip for 30 minutes $50 plus tip for 60 minutes $60 plus tip for 90 minutes ~$10 each for adding on another masseuse, scented oils, heat, etc. Interestingly, you pay before the massage, and then tip afterward, much like Gentle Massage across the street (which seems to offer almost identical services). Okay so I'm starting off this review by saying I am a loyal customer of Travis. After he left his…read moreprior establishment I followed him to his new business. I have been going to him for almost 2 years and I have to say I continue going to him because of the amazing and thorough service I get. I say thorough because beyond just a massage I have multiple conversations with Travis regarding best practices when it comes to stretches, what I can do to help specific problem areas. For example my shoulder blade and clavicle area is constantly tight due to stress and hands down he's able to get those knots out and tension out of that area using a multitude of techniques through palm, hand, elbow, forearm, and different tools and lotions. So all that helps to loosen it but again he and I talk about proper practice and movement of that specific area to ensure that I am doing more self-care away from the table. He explains each movement, gives me exact examples, lets me practice in front of him to ensure that I'm doing the stretch, or movement, or placement of potential heating pads in the right area and giving me more specifics around how to ensure the logical way of doing it to get the most benefit. Also I will say that his space is superb. I have gone it multiple different times of day. I have gone at like 5:00 p.m., 11:00 a.m., and 1:00 p.m.. The building is in a great location where the ambiance of the amazing diffuser and music in the background take Center stage to really help you relax. I've never had any extra or excess noise from the street outside so my massage feels like I'm in my own little world being able to just enjoy and take time to myself while there. I will also add that there are additional items that you can use while there for example I mentioned them up above, there are CBD gels, warm bamboo, the heat therapy, cupping, and you can combine those in different ways. It is on the second floor of the Union Family Care & Wellness building, on the corner of 9th and T. There is a dedicated parking lot outside, which makes visiting incredibly easy! The interior of the clinic is beautifully decorated, with ambient spa music that isn't distracting. Travis offers a variety of different treatments, depending on what your goals are. I opted for the maintenance therapy. I typically like a moderate-firm pressure, and Travis nailed it. As someone who works in front of a computer for 10-hours a day, I always end up with tense shoulders/upper back. Travis was offering a grand opening special for add-on treatments, and I opted to try cupping for my problem areas, as well as hot stones and aromatherapy. It was a really great experience, and I left feeling much looser and relaxed. His technique is excellent, and I would highly recommend for anyone seeking to relieve muscle tension.
