There is no training you get a 4 hour PowerPoint of information crammed into one day that they won't go over with you again. They are constantly hiring every Thursday because they can't keep employees, be it problems with hours and them not giving their employees adequate hours or scheduling problems. Ive spoken with clients who stated how they'll send over replacements/ "fill ins" and never even bother to call them to let them know a new person is showing up. There is no care for caregivers or clients just a false sense of tutelage, trust, and benevolence. Their silver lining is that they try to shove faith, worship, god down your throat to cover up all their misdeeds thinking that a simple "we'll pray for you" is gonna fix anything. If you care about yourself or your loved ones you won't spend a second of your time or a cent here, there plenty of different companies and or routes to go but without a doubt on earth this place is overwhelmingly the most atrocious deplorable opti

I ended up leaving Northwest Medical Homes as a patient due to how they handled a mistake made by a…read moreDO. After a visit where the DO renewed and prescribed a medication that I have been taking for 27 years, I received vague voicemails from the office for weeks, asking me to call back to answer a question they had. I had indicated on my patient form that I only accept text communication, which was completely ignored. After 5+ voicemails in a 2-week span from someone named NATASHA (whose role I still don't know), I returned the call. I was connected to NATASHA, who spoke to me as if she knew my medical history. She was rude and confrontational, didn't even have the name of my condition correct, and demanded 2025 lab results (which I would have obtained had my DO mentioned it in the visit) and the name of an endocrinologist I had seen in 2025. The last time I saw an endocrinologist was the previous April. Eventually, it became clear to me that the DO had made a mistake by writing the prescription and NATASHA expected me to remedy that mistake by seeing an endocrinologist ASAP, all while treating me like I had done something wrong. There is a shortage of endocrinologists in this town and I wanted to wait until I saw an OBGYN to get a recommendation on which specialist to see. I told Natasha this on the phone and via email, but she continued to badger me via voicemail and email, as if I had somehow caused this issue, despite my asking to speak directly with the DO. Eventually, I told them I would be finding new care, yet they continued to reach out using the same accusatory tone and asking the same questions. This was CYA documentation 100%. To make matters worse, they pulled my prescription from Walgreens, leaving me without a medication I literally need to live. It will take me time to find a new PCP and now I am worried I will need to ration my medication. This is not just any regular RX--it's a synthetic hormone that controls excessive thirst and urination. In 27 years of having this condition, no primary care doctor has ever forced me to be seen by an endocrinologist. I do MRIs every 5 years and the DO wanted me to have one off schedule. To the DO: You made the mistake, and you should have owned it and communicated with me directly. From there, I would have told you that I do not consent to annual endocrinologist visits and we could have parted ways then and there. What you were asking also could have been addressed at my next appointment, instead of putting me through weeks of stress and confusion. TL;DR: If a DO at Northwest Medical Homes makes a mistake, be prepared for weeks of harassment by voicemail, letters, and emails until you fix it. I've never been treated this poorly by any medical office. Do better!

Senior Resource Advisors took wonderful care of an aging aunt who resided at a senior facility. You might ask why this additional layer of help? The answer is simple. The facility provided a very nice place to live,, good food, a set of activities to help residents. SRA provided daily contact, took her shopping, to doctors appointments, helped her with personal needs such as cleaning clothes. SRA took a tremendous burden of care off family members and was a lasting friend forr my aunt. During the last weeks of her life, SRA really showed value, takinG her to thE hospital, being there when she needed help and support, gave a loving hand to help an aging lady comfort in the last days of her life. Simply priceless. If youre at a distance, or not able to dedicate sufficient time yourself, SRA fills the gap.

It's not an exaggeration to say that in one of the most difficult periods of my adult life, they provided me and my elderly father with a sense of caring and support that transcends normal business operations. Our story in short: I was not raised with my biological/birth father, but toward the last phase of his life, I became responsible for helping coordinate his care, housing and finances. Not only did I live 11 hours away, but the whole idea of suddenly making critical decisions for him, with no previously established relationship on that level and no siblings or significant others to share the burden, was hard to imagine. When a loved one's mental and physical health begin to decline, it's difficult under normal circumstances, let alone inserting yourself into their life as their advocate when there is no one else. Luckily, there was someone else. There was a whole team of them. Senior Resource Advisors (SRA) had been connected through a referral with both my father and the facility where he was living. They reached out to me to begin the process of organizing a complete care plan that dealt with everything from medical appointments to automated bill payments and everything in between. Open and frequent lines of communication were established and I never felt like there was a day or time that I couldn't ask for clarification or help with any issue. And of course...there were plenty! Let me take a moment to mention that Urmi Boyd, President of SRA is a remarkable and beautiful human being who summoned incredible patience and determination to make this whole thing work. Medical, legal, financial and even social/emotional issues were handled by her with the type of care that we all want for our parents (and hopefully someday for ourselves) and without her personal approach, this situation would have rapidly deteriorated. Urmi was firm when needed, and compassionate throughout. In our age of automation and digital solutions, there is no substitute for a smart, sensitive person who has the ability to weigh the situation and make a timely and thoughtful recommendation. That was Urmi. My father passed away on October 12th. Before he died, we had worked with Urmi and her staff to manage his pain medication through the hospice nurse. Knowing his wishes, we planned together to make sure he was comfortable and aware enough to spend a final afternoon visiting my son, who traveled with me to see his grandfather. My father proudly introduced him to the staff of the care facility, then summoned the strength to walk us to the door and hug us goodbye. It was the last time we saw him. Every family's situation is unique to them, as they experience it. But there is enough commonality in these important life moments, that having someone with experience and skill can make a world of difference. For me and my father, that was Senior Resource Advisors and I cannot recommend them highly enough.
