We were assured the help would check on mom every two hour since she was unable to go to the restroom on her own. They told us they wanted this to be her forever home. This seemed like the perfect place for mom. Two days after we moved mom in she fell trying to get to the restroom on her own. She slit her arm open with a bad wound. She was sent to the hospital. The hospital returned her to River Run but her arm got infected and she had to return to the hospital. After several days in the hospital she was sent to a rehab facility for three weeks. Mom was then returned to River Run Place where she spent two days before she fell again. The hospital said that mom was now a two person lift. When they called River Run, Luke told them he could not take care of her. We were put in a horrible situation trying to find a place for my mom on such short notice The only reason we chose River Run was because we were assured they could do a two person lift. We are still not sure if we will get any of our almost $12,000 back. Way too much money and stress for the five days she lived there. I do not feel this is a safe place if your loved one needs special help.

Visiting Angels - Rates that they lie on, I personally know you can get less than a minimum of 4 hours

Worst possible place ever steer clear of this business if your looking for a caregiver service or…read morelooking for work They hire caregivers with no experience, and lie to their clients telling them all their caregivers are experienced & trained. There is no training you get a 4 hour PowerPoint of information crammed into one day that they won't go over with you again. They are constantly hiring every Thursday because they can't keep employees, be it problems with hours and them not giving their employees adequate hours or scheduling problems. Ive spoken with clients who stated how they'll send over replacements/ "fill ins" and never even bother to call them to let them know a new person is showing up. There is no care for caregivers or clients just a false sense of tutelage, trust, and benevolence. Their silver lining is that they try to shove faith, worship, god down your throat to cover up all their misdeeds thinking that a simple "we'll pray for you" is gonna fix anything. If you care about yourself or your loved ones you won't spend a second of your time or a cent here, there plenty of different companies and or routes to go but without a doubt on earth this place is overwhelmingly the most atrocious deplorable opti

DO NOT MOVE YOUR LOVED ONE HERE! We moved my mom into the memory care center in July, she had no…read moreprevious physical conditions and died within 3 months of moving in. She died on Oct 2nd and they had the audacity to try to bill for the majority of Oct. On the staff's watch one of the nurses turned off my moms sensor on her bed and she had a bad fall. SHE PASSED AWAY 10 DAYS LATER! She did not have any previous physical ailments prior to move in and she was only 68 years old. Hospice mentioned that they think she had a broken hip but was never taken to the hospital because we were told she was transitioning and morphine was administered to help with the pain. I stayed there for 7 days watching my mom die and the stuff I saw was insane. The lady in the room next to mom was screaming bloody murder at 5am saying she was cold, I can only assume they were giving her a shower because I tried to take a shower on 3 different occasions and had the water running for over 30 min and it never got warm. Another occasion when my mom was not responsive a nurse came in there and stuck her hand down her pants to see if she had peed and right before that she asked me to leave the room. She was wearing a diaper that showed a blue line if wet. She did not change her gloves as she proceeded to go about her business throughout the room. My mom had to be rotated every 2 hours to avoid bed sores and they were using the community pillows from the living room, my mom died on those pillows and we asked what they wanted us to do with them they said they would keep them. no covers or anything, so if you see America pillows don't put your face on them. I can go on and on. I was in shock and still am in shock with the whole experience. If I could go back in time things would have been handled a lot different but I guess I should have questioned a lot more! Please do not move your loved one here, especially if they are unable to express themselves verbally.
