The best restaurant to get a local feel! Must reserve a day ahead as they only open btw 8:30pm-10pm and does NOT take walk-ins (unless you are counting on someone canceling that day). This is the restaurant to get a break from all your seafood tapas and try mainland (vegetable and meat) inspired slow food cuisine. Flavours were very harmonious and the vibe had a cozy, sit down feel, with Nordic inspired furnitures that made you feel like you were dining at a friend's house. I'm super glad we stopped by here and noticed we were the only tourists in the restaurant; everyone else were all local ppl and it was a fully booked night on a Thursday evening in November (ie off peak tourist season).
Price is fairly decent; we were four ppl and ordered about one appetizer and entree per person and two desserts. Bill came to €97, so about €25/ person. Since the the menu was kept to a small selection, I'd highly recommend to share everything and try everything recommended by the waiter. This is what I can remember from our order: we tried this cabbage and cauliflower appetizers, the coca pumpkin baked olives (my favourite of all the appetizers as it had an amazing blend of unique yet complementary flavours), both of the fish dishes (one white fish and one bunito that tasted like tuna), the beef with mustard sauce, the chicken entree, the lava cake like dessert which tasted like an elevated bueno cake with the kefir cream, and the coconut ice cream made from everything coconut (must have dessert for coconut fans). Everything was shareable! Owner also came out to say hi and gave us free bread to take away! Also honourable mention that they switched the plates after the appetizers so we can get new ones for the entrees! read more
