Before choosing where to deliver, we toured several hospitals throughout the southern and central Ohio area. After careful consideration, we chose this hospital because we truly felt it was second to none -- and now, after our experience, we can confidently say it was the best choice we could have made. The facilities, the accommodations, the attentiveness of the staff -- everything exceeded our expectations. Going into my delivery, I deeply hoped for a vaginal birth. When plans changed and I needed a C-section due to our baby's size, I felt a mix of emotions -- but my medical team handled everything with such calm confidence, compassion, and reassurance that I felt completely safe and supported every step of the way. Whitney and Kalynn were beyond amazing. They listened carefully, answered every question thoroughly, and made sure both my husband and I were included in every conversation. We never once felt confused or left in the dark -- they explained everything in a way we could truly understand, which brought so much peace in an unexpected situation. Even though my birth plan shifted, they helped me still feel informed, empowered, and cared for. After delivering our son at 2:05am, Dr. Fralick was the very first person to come check on us at 7:00am that morning. That meant more than I can put into words. It made us feel truly seen, remembered, and cared for -- not just as patients, but as people. That level of attentiveness and compassion speaks volumes. We ended up staying for 8 days, and throughout our entire stay, the level of care never wavered. In postpartum, my nurse Barb was absolutely wonderful. She checked on me with genuine compassion, ensured my recovery was progressing well, and treated me like more than just a patient -- she treated me like a new mom navigating a huge life transition. Edith, my lactation consultant, was such a gift during those early breastfeeding days. She was patient, encouraging, and incredibly knowledgeable. She took her time walking me through my questions and challenges without ever making me feel rushed or overwhelmed. Because of her, I left feeling confident instead of discouraged. Although my delivery didn't go exactly as I envisioned, the care we received was better than we could have ever imagined. Every single person made us feel seen, heard, informed, and genuinely cared for. We are so grateful for this team and the role they played in bringing our son safely into the world. Thank you for turning an unexpected change of plans into a beautiful, supported, and empowering birth experience. We will never forget the way we were cared for during one of the most important moments of our lives.

The surgery went very well (huge relief), and every single staff member we encountered was supportive, kind, and genuinely friendly. Hospitals can be stressful places, but the people here do an amazing job of making you feel cared for and not just like "Patient #342B." The facility itself is spotless and surprisingly warm for a hospital setting. It doesn't feel cold or sterile, it almost feels like more than a hospital, like a place designed to comfort as much as it heals. There are plenty of waiting areas, good signage so you don't get lost in a maze of hallways, and even a cafeteria in the basement (Cafe on the Boulevard) for when you need a break and a burger. On a personal note, I was here 15 years ago to give birth to my daughter, and it's remarkable how much the center has improved since then. They've continued to grow, modernize, and somehow get even better at what they do. If you're looking for a hospital that combines top-notch medical care with a team of people who treat you with genuine kindness, Kettering Medical Center is it. No one wants to spend time at a hospital, but if you have to, this is a pretty great place to be.

Hospital staff abused me during my most recent visit and now they're trying to counterfeit my complaint by lying about the whole situation. They also gave me Fentanyl during my first baby's delivery and called children services on me for it and they refused to check my pee sample that I gave them when I initially came in to prove that my system was clean before they gave me fentanyl until after the fact that I allowed children services into my home. The case was dismissed as soon as childrens services demanded the evidence from the hospital. The quality of this hospital and the people who work there is absolute GARBAGE! Not to mention they've had someone working for them that breaks the hippa law and falsifies documents. The fact that they call themselves Christian based is amusing to say the least. I'd give this review 0 stars if I could. I only rated it as 5 star so everyone could see my review. If you put only 1 star they won't let you view the whole thing without the app.

No good category but want to speak directly to you regarding your letter concerning my behavior…read moretoward staff which consisted entirely of one phone call to the desk and one I got from the manager who was equally misinformed. Over a podiatry referral in which I was told 'all" of my information had been forwarded for me as I commented about out of the Kettering Healthcare Network. I thanked the kind woman for her favor only to find that nothing had been forwarded at all. A local pedicure shop run by Vietnamese women quickly solved my pains and cleaned up my hooves. I tipped them profusely and will return monthly. Try it if you have not simply amazing! I assure you that I am a gentleman and person unless given a reason not to be and in this case absolutely nothing occurred that I am aware of between one lady and myself who are the only ones that know the truth. This ultimatum you so quickly delivered presents a dilemma for me. I would have expected more from a professional, a doctor and military officer. Perhaps some internal review is necessary particularly with this Jason I keep hearing about in the thick of it all. I believe he called me to give me a "talking too" which I had no part of at all. Hurt his little feelings I guess. I will quite probably survive without any permanent medical as it is now constant pain with drugs the last resort I want no part of until the very end. Let me know but I expect this to come to a very quick closure for all. I will pursue every avenue I can to inform as many as possible the true nature of the Years Ahead Health Center should further consequences fall upon me for having a say in my treatment as the patient involved. Perhaps more focus on the patients than themselves is message they should receive. Google Review One visit and phone calls my new doctor Haggerty, nurses and medical folks are great and fast to the tasks but the administration staff acts like little kids if you call or ask them anything like they have better things to do like text all day. Hurt their feelings and got a call from the big boss man in charge of the women to keep them in line to give me a talking to about my attitude disregarding all facts or the deplorable behaviors and patient treatment for most any request or information. Gave that guy a good talking instead I never said anything but demand better. Little whimpering brats! Like it's a privilege for me to even address them instead of just doing their jobs they are paid for by me and other patients!
