I showed him the issues I was having with a toilet and two sinks, and he carefully explained what was going on in a way that made complete sense. He stepped back out to his van to coordinate with Laura on pricing, and within minutes had clear, straightforward options with numbers for me on how we could approach the problems. My basement renovation is being completed in phases, and the bathroom was the priority so it could be functional while we wait for the kitchen cabinets and counters to arrive. After payment was made, I had difficulty getting the bathroom portion fully completed. When he returned, the toilet was mounted but the remaining items needed to finish the bathroom were not installed. I was told the remaining parts could not be located, but they were actually in the shower area in the delivery boxes. When I asked about finishing the bathroom, I was told the work would not be completed until the kitchen cabinets arrive, which may be several weeks away. In my experience, the communication and customer service changed after payment was made. I was also asked to pay the full amount before the job was finished, which I later learned from the inspector is not always typical practice. Because the bathroom portion of the work remains incomplete and the timeline for finishing it is uncertain, this has been a frustrating experience. Based on my experience, I would likely choose a different contractor for future work. I am currently in the process of filing a complaint with the plumbers and gas fitters exhibiting board. I will also continue to seek legal action for the unfinished work as he has made it clear he will not do the work until he's ready to do it. Update: After a week he finally responded to an e-mail I sent to the company, and to my surprise, he contacted the City of Fultondale and came off the project (after I've paid him $4,000). I have left a message I received from him earlier regarding his conduct with customers.

The only "product" used or provided was Roto-Rooter preventative pipe shield. 1 gallon. Walmart sells it for $20. For what I was charged for a 3 minute job, I could have bought a plumbing snake and a years supply of the "product" I was sold.
