I just had a great experience with Tucker Appliance Repair…read more Aaron was pleasant, punctual and knew what he was doing. I had a leak from my Kenmore front loading washer. Aaron (the owner), had the problem diagnosed almost before he got into the washer. He replaced the hot and cold valves that were both leaking. He had to pick up the parts, was back in 30 minutes and in a short time, my washer was repaired. His price was certainly fair. I will call Aaron the next time I have any problem with an appliance. You should too!

My 8 year old refrigerator was icing up and there was a "factory update" involving a new fan and many related parts. They also diagnosed the problem with my Sub-Zero Beverage Center, ordered parts, removed it and took it back to their shop for repairs. It will take about a week for repairs and re-install. The Technicians arrived on time, worked efficiently, fixed my built-in refrigerator, cleaned up and left - what more can you ask for?

We've used these guy's twice. Let me say if you need Sub Zero service, you call these guys. We used…read moreour Home warranty people to send out service for our Sub Zero. They sent a company out, we paid the $70 service call fee and they paid them 1200.00 (not) to fix the Fridge, they were there and gone in 45 min. We called Prestigious Appliance to come out,....long story short. He replaced the very parts the noodle heads before him said they had replaced, all original parts, still in tact.He had to remove all the shelves, drawers etc...to remove inside back panel, to get to some of the parts....which I never saw the man before do. So, that right there told me, the other guy ripped off the Warranty Co. Now, WE did end up paying $1200.00 out of pocket....but we had some expensive parts replaced, one of which was a compressor.....But, add it up here. .....the fridge stops working and unless you can get someone to your house within the hour to repair it, you're either going to lose the groceries inside, or transfer them to the refrigerator in the garage. Either way it's a big hassle. Then wait 2 weeks for them to come and not repair it. We then have to do this a second time....transport groceries to the garage..go back and forth to the garage whenever you need something out of the refrigerator, the freezer isn't large enough so you end up losing some groceries. So, there's waste of money as well. I don't know about you, but I'd rather spend the money to have it repaired, correctly the first time, than to go through all of that. It is not like you're having to do without a microwave. And spending 1200.00 isn't the same as the $12,000.00 for the Fridge. So, don't go through the aggravation we did for a month before we took control from the warranty company. Simply call Prestigious Appliance to begin with. They are the most knowledgeable guys you'll meet.

Mr. Appliance - Unfulfilled Refund and Lack of Communication…read more Mr. Appliance visited my home on May 6, 2025, to perform a diagnostic on my washer, which had essentially stopped working. Larry, the technician, was friendly and thorough. He explained that he could repair the washer but would need to order a part first. I was told that if I moved forward with the repair, the $99 diagnostic fee would be waived, and a $300 deposit would be required to order the part. I agreed and provided a check for the deposit. Larry returned on May 8, 2025, but unfortunately, the part did not resolve the issue. At that point, Larry advised that it would be more cost-effective to purchase a new washer. Since no repair was ultimately completed, I was told the $99 diagnostic fee would apply, and the remaining $201 of my deposit would be refunded via a mailed paper check. It has now been over two months, and I have still not received the $201 refund. I have emailed multiple times with no response. I've called repeatedly and left messages with the call center, and I also spoke directly with Derek several times, and each time he assured me the refund would be processed. I sent messages through social media, but again received no reply. On July 24, 2025, I filed a Better Business Bureau complaint, and Mr. Appliance failed to respond to my request. At this point, I'm incredibly disappointed with the lack of follow-through and communication. I understand that mistakes happen, but it should not be this difficult to receive a simple refund for services not rendered. I hope posting this publicly will finally prompt some resolution.

I contacted Service Care about a Viking vent hood that was not working and they were out the next…read moreday. Their communication prior to the visit was exceptional. The young man who came to the house was punctual, polite and professional. Unfortunately that's where the good things stop. Our vent hood blower is on the roof and despite claiming to have checked the motor, he never went to the roof. I suggested that the problem could be the startup capacitor on the blower and he didn't check it. Instead, after knocking around in our kitchen for the better part of an hour, he tells me that the problem can't be fixed and that the parts for our 17 yr old vent hood aren't available. He searched online, talked to Viking and there was no way to fix it and there was nothing he could do. He said even if he could fix it, it would be around $900. He collected $115 and left. That just didn't make any sense to me. I'm reasonably handy and I went on the roof and quickly found the problem. Sure enough, the startup capacitor was bad and despite Service Care's claim that parts weren't available and my unit was beyond repair, Amazon delivered the $10 part the next day and I installed it in about 5 minutes. $10. Based on this interaction, I can't recommend this company.
