The ingredients are fresh and the preparation / presentation is exquisite. The food is served by friendly and knowledgeable people who go the extra mile to ensure a great dining experience. It really stands out as a solid upscale restaurant in an area where restaurants are typically catered for tourists. Chef Michael used to work on private yachts and his culinary skills are exceptional. We ordered pan fried salmon, scallops, seafood soup and lobster arancini during our first visit, and one can't ask for fresher ingredients. At the second time we were there, the special of the day was pan fried halibut with a pistachio crust. Again the fish was fresh and it was cooked to perfection. We also had a warm salad with beets, walnuts and chèvre (goat cheese) which complements the main course. The food there is not heavily seasoned or cooked with lots of grease. One can actually tastes real food which is both nourishing for the body and soul.

This was right across from our hotel. This restaurant is seafood-focused. I'm allergic and intolerant to most seafood but they do not put it in the fry fryer, which is dedicated gluten free! The owner and the waitstaff was seriously knowledgeable about allergens and prepared to discuss things. They say "gluten friendly" because the cooking surfaces might be shared but they are very careful. Most dishes can be prepared gf, including the beer battered fish and chips. They use gf beer. It was amazing! The fries are also amazing! I was just so pleased, it tasted like normal. Good normal. My boyfriend had a haddock special and the seafood chowder and he enjoyed both.

I was confused by this until I realized only a shell would realistically cause that. Swear I saw a hair, too. The potatoes were excessively bland. The bacon wasn't appetizing. They were all nice, but way too scattered. I probably spent 20 minutes longer here than I should have. Location: 4* Convenience: 1* Service: 1* Product/quality: 1* Aesthetics: 1*
