Stopped in for lunch on a busy Friday. The menu is pretty standard bar-and-grill fare. The buffalo chicken nachos were a large portion and were overall the best thing we ordered. The chicken sandwich was just okay, the tater tots were overdone, and the iced tea tasted off. Service was lacking. One person took our order and another brought the food, but no one checked on us after it was delivered, so there wasn't an opportunity to mention the tea or ask for anything else. Oh and we only received one fork...for four diners. One disappointment was that the restaurant doesn't have high chairs. In a family-oriented community like Sturgis, it's surprising not to have a basic accommodation for families with young children. Overall, it was an average lunch with a few shortcomings. The staff we did briefly interact with were all very pleasant. Nothing was terrible, but nothing really stood out enough to make us eager to return. read more

We wanted to go here just because it's Gas Monkey. Food was okay. They were not adequately staffed. The server was not very experienced and not well trained but she did her best. Food was okay. Typical bar food. Husband had a Cobb salad. They apparently didn't have all of the dressings in stock and she had to make multiple trips to find one he preferred. I had the thinnest BLT ever. Our friends had beef nachos and had to ask for more cheese. At checkout, the food was intermingled on the two tickets. To make it simple we exchanged the difference between us as it appeared the Server was having to take care of the entire bar and eating area and it was easier that way. Been there, done that, marked it off the list and don't need to go again. read more

Gals in the store were more interested in shooting the shit with a guy than making money. We understand it's the end of the rally but customer service should still be a main focus. My hubs is a huge fan and he was so let down by this experience. read more

What a sh*t show. We decided to try the "infamous" Gas Monkey and bellied up to the bar at about 3:pm during the Sturgis rally. It wasn't super busy, but it wasn't slow. The bartender asked what we would like and let her know that we just wanted water for now., which she copped a little attitude. We nicely asked for a menu and she gave us a menu explaining that it was limited to the rally. we got our water and she still had an attitude. we left with no questions asked and made our way elsewhere. read more

Stick to custom vehicles and stay away from food. Really low quality food. Tried the nachos and I thought there was no way anyone could blow nachos. But somehow they managed to do so. Tons of chips with barely any toppings. Even the cheese was used sparingly. I thought it had steak, yeah what appeared to be 3 ounces. They should name it "Store-bought chips with essence of nachos". Hell even Taco John's down the street does a better job for a mere fraction of the price. My buddy ordered the BLT. They make a better and bigger sandwich at ANY diner. The pizza was excellent and priced very reasonable. Same with the polish sausage corn dog. The girls were all hot! Im sure Richard imported them from Texas. I will go back for sure. I got to shake the man's hand. read more

The place was relatively busy for mid afternoon and the entire bar staff couldn't have been better. Very attentive and friendly. Pizza was GREAT if you like thin crispy crust, if you like sloppy, greasy, doughy pizza, get wings or a burger. I'll be back every time I'm in surges! read more

The food was way over priced and subpar. Our BLT almost no bacon and cost almost $15. The fryer was out so tortilla chips and salsa were substituted which were super cheap grocery grade. Was there August 21. one person working the front, very busy for her. The food took awhile which is ok but cold when we got it. Patty melt burger over cooked, very small compared to bread. Friend had a ham and cheese sandwich and had one thin sliced piece of ham and little cheese, for a13$ should have been better than this. another person had a chicken salad and the chicken was so tough she could hardly chew it. Food was average, service was not great, getting food took longer than usual. Nobody checks in to see if more drinks or anything else is needed. Nobody brought out check. When I asked for the check the bill was correct and then they ran my payment for the incorrect table and took my card to the back with her to get the manager to void. read more

Service was okay until they overcharged all our drinks. Bill was $127 dollars and since they didn't give us a total, we had $220 dollars laying on the bar. After checking us out, the bartender proceeded to put the change in his tip jar!! WHAT THE HECK!? And how disrespectful!! It appeared that the bartender wasn't happy being there since we arrived an hour before they closed. We only had one drink to respect the fact that they were closing soon. At first glance seems like a cool new addition to town. It's open year round so that's good to know for the off season. Walked in and the place is on the smaller side about 4-5 table and then a bar area. Seems like the staff is still very new but not one person greeted us as we sat at the bar waiting (there was more than enough staff to at least say hi). The menu is small, 3 items pizza, wings and burgers. The wings were basic and the pizza was basically a cracker crust with and zero flavor. All in all just drink here but keep in mind the service is slow. I had higher hopes. read more

I drove by and the building was well lit and quite busy! All of the tables were full so we sat at the bar. We were greeted immediately by a very friendly bartender named Ursula. We ordered right away and the food came out very quickly. Everything was amazing. I was very happy that they carried a NA beer . Atmosphere was great and I will absolutely be back! read more

When we walked in, the bartenders would turn the other way and ignore us (and ignored those who walked in after us). There was no way to tell who was in line to be seated or order drinks. We went to the store in the back, to get some merchandise. After waiting for a while to check out, we tried to go to the bar to check out. The bartender walked away and wouldn't acknowledge us. We put the things back and left. It is still new, so it could have just been an off-day, but it was very disappointing and I'm not sure we will be back. read more

We have eaten here three different times, the first time was during the rally right after they opened. Food was good, service so-so. Tonight was our third visit and probably the last. Food was good but if you want service you won't get it from the staff here. We were a party of eight and I ended up having to go get part of our order from kitchen myself.
