He was consigned to sell 6 guns. He wanted to do 25% off retail. We asked him to do 15% or less as they were returns that hadn't even been opened and they were guns that were rarely in stock. He said he would for a week. So, according to Preeda, no takers at 15% for the entire week but the first day they go to 25%, he sells 5 out of 6 within the first few hours. So I'm supposed to believe that 10% made that big of a difference. From none sold, to all sold, in a day? This, combined with other small but suspicious irregularities and him telling me to trust him, so many times as to become strange, has lead me to believe that he dealt in bad faith. I really wish I had never dealt with him.

This gun store called in my application and not to my surprise I got a hold on my mauser till the 7th. Well, I went in today to check the status of the mauser and see if i got a proceed on the rifle Cause, when I left Friday she ( the store owner) asked for my number to give me a call if i get a proceed later that day or week... Well, I drove by the store today to see if there was a status change... You never know... People do forget to call folks. Anyway.... I walked into the store and ask the owner if there was a status change on my rifle.. She told me that they sold the Mauser on Saturday the 3rd... Needless to say... I was bummed out and unaware of this stores policy...

I was much more pleased with this gun than anything I had looked at including a GLOCK 9mm I had in the past as the size, weight and feel of the gun is better than any expectation I had to what I was going to be able to get during these bad times. I was also not just surprised but happy that she had put aside a box a bullets as during this time, pistol ammunition was unavailable everywhere I looked, but had changed weeks later. When I was leaving Gary had come in and got me a great holster plus I have been back since and gotten a speed loader which works so much better than trying to load by hand. I also talked to Gary about getting Mod parts for the gun and he said that not only would it be better that he do them, mainly the Monarch Trigger System as with my bad hands I would be more at comfort to having them do it rather then something going wrong. Since buying it I only wish I would of gotten it with the "Crimson Trace Laser" from the factory but will probably end up getting the bolt on one. Look forward to doing business with them in the future, but first need to go to a Shooting Range and try this out.

Talk about impressed. Timberline was great in terms of customer service and a strict adherence to…read moresafety protocols which was really reassuring since shooting a Marine worthy handgun was a lot more intimidating than my son and I thought it would be. Since it's been years since I've shot a gun and my son is a novice with guns unless you count his vast experience with an official Red Ryder BB gun, we took the First Time Shooter course which is a basic 30 minute course on basic safety. Then we hit the shooting range. Out of a wide variety of handguns to choose from, we rented a M18 Modular Handgun. A lot of gun. Ear and eye guards are mandatory as well as a double door protocol to enter and exit the range which prevents the noise issue from the range, and I assume was adopted after the Chris Kyle murder for additional safety measures. There is a safety monitor when there are any shooters which was helpful for me in loading the darn magazine. We'll be back and may take one of the classes. I highly recommend Timberline for anyone who wants training or plans on buying a gun.
