First of all yes, that label art drew me in as I love cryptozoology but I also liked the fact that this was a Hibiscus flavored mead which was a flavor I don't recall in coming across from the handful of meadery experiences that I have had. It didn't let me down in the namesake department either as the Hibiscus flavor was in full effect. Very flavorful with that and a good honey aspect at work made me purchase a bottle of this mead to enjoy at home as well.

The staff at the desk, one of the owner's wife, was kind, welcoming, and also super Covid conscious. Outside south facing seating is available and table inside are socially distanced. The $12 flight for three 3/4oz pours left us feeling lacking. The atmosphere is nice with lots of seating options. There are tables with chairs, bar searing, and a pit group of leather couches around a coffee table in front of the fire.
