Overall a nice place to visit, though a little pricey for what they offer. Many of the wines are flavored (and delicious), but may not please a purist's wine pallete. (The apple pue sangria is a must try!) The distillery aspect is small, with only 2 whiskeys, 1 vodka, and 2 flavored versions of the vodka available. The $12 flight for three 3/4oz pours left us feeling lacking. The atmosphere is nice with lots of seating options. There are tables with chairs, bar searing, and a pit group of leather couches around a coffee table in front of the fire. I had gone with my mother and we did the build your own wine tasting. When you first go in you get to choose where you sit (which they have a diverse selection), after they had taken our list of drinks all of the tastings came out pretty fast! Wish there were more food options but the wine selection was great! read more

Was staying in Eau Claire for the night and needed something to do, so we went here when we found out there was live music. Right away the bartender greeted us and asked if we'd been there before. When we said no, he recommended a tasting sample. This was definitely the right suggestion! There are so many experimental beverages here, and very unique at that. The most surprising to me was the sassafras-ginger chardonnay. It had a lighter rootbeer taste and then the ginger hit as an after note. Very unique! We had an awesome experience at Infinity. The four of us enjoyed the spirit tasting with John. John was great--friendly and helpful, but not overly invasive. We tried the "Summer Heat" and absolutely loved it. It was a jalapeno, cucumber, vodka drink and was AMAZING. The wines we tried were also great. Loved the tropical mojito as well. Love Infinity Beverages! There is a wine for every palate, from sweet white, to a smoky, velvety red. They also distill vodka and whiskey and have come up with some deliciously creative cocktails to feature them. Summer Heat and Roasted Toasted Almond being 2 of my faves. Our wine tasting started off okay, just one other couple who'd arrived before us, only one tender. We had just had our second sample (not free, $7 each) when a young woman came in to pick up a case she must have had set aside for her. The tender excused himself to ring up the sale. After several minutes of two couples waiting, a woman came in to work (likely the manager or owner). No greeting, just turned her back and looked through some reports or similar. Also on her cell phone. Meanwhile our tender continued ringing up the young woman's purchase, apparently keying in individual bottles or something. Without a word to us, he gave the bill to her. She questioned the total amount, and the tender went back to the register to start over. No problem, right? Surely the manager would step in to help him at the register or the customers at the counter. Nope. Walked by us without a word. The tender finally finished keying the new bill, walked by us to give it to the young woman. Not a word or acknowledgement to the four of us. The young woman pointed out another error. Back comes the tender to ring her up a third time. The manager stopped for 10 seconds to look over his shoulder, then was gone. Still not a greeting to the four customers waiting at the counter, no apology, no nod, no glance our way. After 15 minutes, we got up to leave. My husband asked what we owed, thinking it would be prorated. The tender rang us up and turned to us, asking for the full $14. After I expressed surprise and said we'd only had two samples, so no, we weren't going to pay full price. Said that's ridiculous, as I turned to go out the door --to which he called out that he'd comp it. Worst customer service and average wine, at best, based on the first two (and only) samples we had. read more

We've tried a few wineries in the area and heard about Infinity. The atmosphere was really cool and urban, and I love that the owner personally marks his signature on everything, down to naming products after his kids. Meat and cheese plate was fantastic and offset the sweetness of the wines. The wines were tasty, but too sweet for my palate, unfortunately. Remembering that we are in a sweet grape area, the complexity of the wines and creativity does not go unnoticed. I'd go back again on a hot summer day! read more
