After we paid our bill and were finishing up they gave us a free taster of one of their other beers. One of the employees was even watching the football game on their phone and set it up so we could see it as well! Don't sleep on Turtle Stack, it's worth the visit!

Todd, i said: i dont know what style but you should brew a beer named...1856. Sand Creek was previously Pioneer which brewmaster Todd worked at. Oscar's Oatmeal Stout is brewed from a 1995 Pioneer recipe. For GOOD reason, two-fold: deeelicious & its a World Medal winning beer. If you think Oscar's is good? Try the nitro pour! Then....try the 12% Double pour!! Bar? Raised. This brewery was well worth the quick 40 minute drive. I am already anxious to make another stop!! On the flight i didnt much care for the Pierce St Pale Ale. Was by no means a bad beer. More appropriately: brewed true to style. I just dont prefer bitter beers but....still give them a go. My favorite were the white cranberry & the pink moscato...I took 2 bottles home, one for a friend and another for myself! A few little yard arts, chairs, and plants...very welcoming! The B&B is on the left and the tap room is on the right, the garage, where the covered patio is. Co-owner Brenda was behind the bar. When Brenda mentioned she could pour me an "air" I responded... oh Lucid Air! That's one I hadn't heard in a minute! The tap room is very cozy and w Brenda also being a travel agent there is travel destination suggestions on the tap list. Mid visit the Brewer/co-owner, Ford came behind the bar. There was a decent selection of vinyl....not sure if they have a record player or it's just fun "decoration"? My friend gave me the explanation of the names on the shelving behind her. After having Brenda pour me a taste of Chubby Chipmonk Pale Wheat, which was good but better than a standard wheat beer since it's a Pale Wheat, so if you're looking for a muted beer, this isn't it, so go on and taste it. I asked my other friend f I could have a sip of his Bicycle Brown? There it is....that's what my palate is looking for! I opted for a pint of Bicycle Brown Ale... it hit the mark....as I still had a couple hour drive in front of me to the cities.
