Originally, I was told I was out of their service area and they would get back to me. To my delight, they got back to me and told me they would have a representative available within a few days. Their brochure and information packet was filled with helpful information. I could see first hand that the reviews were justified and level of customer service was very professional. From the consultation to the finished patio cover, J&R Aluminum exceeded my expectations!…read more I had been wanting a new patio cover for my backyard and got four different quotes before making my decision. J&R Aluminum not only gave me a great price, but actually beat all three of the other quotes I received. But honestly, the price was only part of what impressed me. Raul was my first point of contact, and he was fantastic to work with. What really stood out to me was how he helped me visualize the project. I'm a very visual person, and instead of simply taking measurements and explaining where everything would go, he put markers down to show me exactly where the posts would be. He even lined up the tape measure so I could physically see how far the patio cover would extend. That made such a difference when I was trying to decide between sizes. I thought that was such a thoughtful and professional way to help a customer make a decision. Once I decided on the size, the installation process went smoothly, and the quality of the workmanship was exceptional. My new patio cover looks beautiful, and I'm so happy with how it turned out. It has completely changed the look and feel of my backyard and gives me the outdoor space I've been wanting. For me, J&R Aluminum really checked all the boxes: great pricing, quality workmanship, attention to detail, and excellent customer service. It's not often that you can say you got the best price and were extremely happy with the quality of the work. I would absolutely recommend J&R Aluminum to anyone considering a patio cover. I'm very happy I chose them!

We've owned our home for 5 years and have done a lot of projects, from a full pool build to smaller repairs, so I've worked with plenty of contractors. Because of that, my expectations are high. We decided to go with Juan and Raul for our patio, and I'm really glad we did. Their team showed up not just on time, but early on the day of demo and installation. They worked efficiently and completed everything in just one day, which honestly exceeded our expectations. What I appreciated most was how easy it was to communicate with both Juan and Raul. They were responsive, patient with my questions, and very open to making adjustments to fit exactly what we wanted. I never felt brushed off or rushed, which is rare. The workmanship turned out clean and solid. The structure feels sturdy, everything looks well-aligned, and the finish came out exactly how we envisioned. So far we're really happy with everything.... now we'll see how it holds up once we get some rain I'll follow-up with some pictures.

We had to accommodate a unique roofline and Eric helped figure it out, though it seems that the materials are best suited for a straight-forward, plug-and-play installation with minimal customization. The pricing was competitive. We opted to have six can lights, a ceiling fan (the fan was provided by us and they installed it), and two outlets installed. After signing the contract, the installation occurred roughly 4-6 weeks out due to their full installation schedule, so plan accordingly and book as soon as you feel comfortable if you know you want to go with them. The installation team (five workers total, led by Jesus) was quick, efficient, and respectful. They installed the cover in one day and left the area clean prior to departing. Here are a couple of minor "issues" we encountered... one post is not completely square/perpendicular to the nearby patio edge, so this is a bit more obvious to see, but not terrible. The covered outlets they installed were standard indoor style. I chose to replace them with GFCI outlets (cost me $40 total at Home Depot) since they are outdoors and one has a fountain plugged into it. I would recommend Paradise Patio Covers to friends and neighbors and would definitely use them again.

We hired Ron to do the architectural plans for the remodel of a fourplex. He came in with a fancy camera scanner to measure everything, a very efficient process. He was very much on time with the delivery of the initial draft. We discussed minor changes and submitted to the city, and they had just had a few minor corrections before approval, which is better than other architectural teams I have worked with. After we began work on the project, we discovered a beam in the ceiling was not pointing in the right direction, leading to the need for a revision to the plans. The engineer Margarito went on site and approved changes, which allowed us to quickly adapt. The timeline was totally reasonable (honestly, my slow email responses probably added more time than anything on their end), and the plans were approved by the city on the first try, which was a huge relief. It was also hard to find someone willing to take on a smaller project at a fair price, and they were very thorough. Even months later, they've still been responsive with follow-up questions from our contractor. Would definitely recommend, especially for smaller renovations or additions.
